Well I'm gonna be moving the plot forward very soon, so anyone who hasn't gotten on the Hermes yet, I will probably be starting without. I apologize.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Yo, just a heads up to say that I tweaked Erruan's character sheet to note that her spec ops armour has an energy shield generator since that was something I had neglected to include until I had a better idea of how common personal shielding was. Her merc armour still doesn't have any since it's meant to be cheap and cheerful.
Locking you up on radar since '09Locoman: Two things. One, the species is called the Skal, not the Skalan. Secondly, this organization is called the Galactic Alliance, not the Federation. This isn't Star Trek.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Writing a post at 1 am will do things to a man.
It's fine.
Skalan is the demonym of the Second Skalan Empire (as in the Skalan people) but if you're using it to refer to the species it's technically incorrect.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I'm so sorry. I don't feel well today, so it's been giving me some writer's block. I apologize, and I will try to get a post up tomorrow.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither. That's alright. Hope you get better!
Get well soon!
Locking you up on radar since '09All right, I'm considering having a timeskip for the Hermes crew to get them to Luna and start the first mission. What do you guys think? Y/N?
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I don't mind either way; my posting rate's shit right now anyway.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundGo for it.
I'm fine with it.
Locking you up on radar since '09Yes, Y, Si, Hai.
DO IT YOU BITCH!
Yeah sounds good.
You are reading this. All righty then, it looks like most of you guys are in favor of a timeskip. I will try and get a post up, but I really don't want to double post...
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither. No need to worry, gotcha covered there.
Pretty good, though one thing I do want to clear up a bit:
That ambassador's species isn't "The Ralu", though I can understand the confusion. Its name is Raluitee'shel, "Ralu" for short. Its species is Kair-Shaan, its nation is Shaantu. And the reason I'm being really vague with gender (saying "its") is that Kair-Shaan are all hermaphrodites and thus don't really have a gender as defined by society.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Internet connection is being on the fritz so I may not be posting for the next couple of days.
Previously it was just writer's block and being busy with work, but now this.
You are reading this....dangit all, I forgot to add Linda to the list. I had her in mind but it somehow slipped my mind to add her to the list. Probably the headache from my new glasses.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I'm assuming for the sake of expedience that we're allowed to customize our own embassies within reason. If that's not the case let me know and I'll work on editing the post later.
You are reading this.Of course, they're your nations.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Okay, let me level with everyone real quick, and this isn't an April Fool's joke or everything..... I'm really sorry, everyone, I don't know if I can do this. I don't know if I can run this game. Everything is just so daunting and the scale is so big in this game that when I come to write a post I cannot pull up the enthusiasm. I dread having to write these posts, and that means I end up putting them off, and putting them off, by which point people's posts have begun to slow to a crawl and their enthusiasms are lowering for the game as well.
I don't know what to do, if I should slog through it regardless (which would be stressful for me, I imagine, and lead to a lower quality of posts), or if I should drop it, or if I should hand the reins to someone else. The point is, I've gotten to the point where I felt it was a phase, that this creeping dread of posting for this game would pass, and it hasn't.
That, and several experiences with this and other games (including tabletop games) have convinced me that I am an awful GM. I have trouble planning ahead, I stick to a rigid formula so tightly that when a curveball is thrown my way I completely flounder, and I quickly lose steam. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I would appreciate honest feedback.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I think you are doing perfectly fine, dude, you're just being too hard on yourself.
But if you are absolutely positive that you just cannot continue, I have enough time to spare now that I'd be willing to take over and keep things going, though I would really prefer if you could come up with a way to rekindle that spark for running things and keep on trucking.
