Does Not Illustrate: Stupid Sacrifice

I think the image is a better fit for Senseless Sacrifice, as a Stupid Sacrifice is one that still obtains the desired goal. (The picture shows a woman trying to protect Superman from something that obviously wouldn't hurt him; I doubt it fits.)

Looking at the trope definitions, I disagree. At the very least, a replacement suggestion should've been offered.
