So I created a character that was to be a parody superhero and I based him off Spider-Man. I also gave him a mental disorder called "No Fourth Wall Syndrome" a rare psychological disorder in my universe that causes characters to believe they're fictional. Is this too close to Deadpool? That really was not my intention and when I first created him I didn't realize how close the characters were since I knew little about Deadpool at the time.

Marvel doesn't own the concept of people with spider powers (as much as they would like you to believe) nor the concept of people breaking the fourth wall. So don't worry!

In fact even if it was a copy, the fact that he is a parody would mean you would be fine anyway.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.

You can't accidentally plagiarise something. So what matters is how close to the character you are aiming. If not close then you have nothing to worry about.
