Welp, shit. I should have seen that coming.
And if Regina Zellerbach turns out to be Esther Cobblepot, what I'll be most disappointed about is the World's Greatest Detective not figuring that out sooner.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Oz now looks slightly like the actual Penguin with that monocle/double black eye.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. So judging by Oz's temper tantrum, Vicki didn't tell him about her plan for the resignation speech.
I'm assuming he's upset about something entirely different. He's had time to get stitches in his face and the Children of Arkham's goons weren't there when he got wailed on.
Goddamnit, they're really doing the Joker, who IMO is one of the most boring villains of all time. Having a character's defining character trait being "I'M CRAAAAAAAZEEEY" is lazy writing. Hopefully he's just a cameo and Vicki, Penguin, and Two Face will remain the actual villains.
I wonder if they're planning on subverting the entire notion of Arkham being a Cardboard Prison. Joker will appear as a brutal inmate, but will actually fail to escape while Bruce succeeds.
Here's hoping, too. There's already a lot going on with the Children of Arkham, the Waynes, Two-Face, Selina, etc.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Please let the Joker be the Golden Age type of Joker, it's all I ask.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I hate myself for getting excited for seeing the Joker, when I thought it was great that this Batman story wasn't beating that dead horse. I'm the problem.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I'm gonna guess you can probably be his friend in this episode, just to make it extra weird when he inevitably gets dipped in season 2. I would've had so much more respect for Telltale if they could've held themselves back on the Joker, but I think we all knew that was never gonna happen. Unless he ends up being a decoy, like Jerome in Gotham.
Anyone else expecting Jonathan Crane to make a cameo, too?
I think with the Toymaker and Zsasz in addition to Joker, I think we're good with the Arkham wannabe villains for now.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.i haven't followed Batman comics in years. Is Lady A. lifted from the comics or is she a new villain created for the game?
Not that I'm hoping for it or anything, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Lady Arkham is new, as far as I know, unless they're still not done revealing her identity.
Jonathan Crane kind of already made a cameo. Lady A is really a female him.
I suppose? What with her plan to unleash anger juice on the city and all. I was wondering if that wasn't supposed to be Venom, given how it unlocked that one cop's primal strength. It could just as easily be a forerunner to Joker toxin, for that matter. It would be better if it were just one of the three, but whatever it is I don't like how it's also feeding into Harvey's breakdown. I kinda wish that the prequel wasn't turning all many different origin stories of Batman's rogues gallery into so much Green Rocks.

Bruce and the Joker will join forces to escape from Arkham. Joker had been planning on the escape for a while, but patiently waited until he could find a cellmate who he saw as trustworthy and worthy of escaping with. To do so, Joker brutalizes Bruce in order to test whether he is the true Batman. .......
So, that was Joker, Zsasz, Ventriloquist (with Socko instead of Scarface), and Blockbuster?
Yes to all those.
I wonder why Blockbuster is wearing his street-clothes while incarcerated, though.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Maybe Dent is just shoving everyone in there.
Dent really better be different in this episode depending on what you did in 2. People should get some reward for making that choice instead of bland sameness.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. One thing that I've noticed is that the trailers have featured a sequence in which Alfred defends Wayne Manor with a rifle. In some shots, it's Harvey who storms through the door with an assault rifle. Yet in others, it's a team of SWAT officers with Harvey being nowhere in sight.
My guess is that Bad Harvey will lose control and strive to become the Punisher and storm Wayne Manor himself. Good Harvey will personally hesitate investigating Bruce, but is forced to send in police forces to secure Wayne Manor to maintain his reputation as a government official.
Late to the thread, but I'm all caught up. Can't say I was expecting the Son of Arkham to be Vicki Vale/Lady Arkham, but it does mirror the Talia reveal in TDKR, so I can't exactly feel surprised. If anything, I'm a little disappointed, because unless she turns out to be someone else from canon, I can't say I've found Son of/Lady Arkham all that interesting, other than as a female villain who's a physical and gadgeteering match for the Bat. Kinda hoping she'll turn out to be someone goofy like Prometheus's daughter or something.
I'm sure this has already been said, but calling it: Vicki is the Zellerbachs' daughter. Also, this has to tie into the comics' Court of Owls storyline, right? I'm not up on the New 52, but... 'Old families like ours should flock together'? That's the gist, right? And Vicki can't be our last curveball before the season's over.
Also, just going back to the Episode 2 for a minute here— why were the models in that final video with Thomas Wayne and Esther Cobblepot so jaggy? Seriously, other than Wayne, the polygon count and textures on those models looked like something you'd see on the original X Box.
