I was also about to object to Her Story winning best narrative over Life is Strange, but then I remembered hoe Episode 5 of the latter fell apart so I thought against it.

The game sounds great and all, but I'm personally tired of hearing about it everyday and don't have any desire to play it anytime soon because of it.

When I didn't care to hear any more about Undertale, I stopped reading the Undertale thread (not that it was a bad game, I just didn't feel like dwelling on it forever). If you don't want to hear about Undertale, maybe you should try that too.
Seriously though, I don't know where on this site you'd be constantly running into it unless you're trying to.

in fairness, a lot of people have undertale avatars on the forum and you can probably see it in a lot of other places as well given its popularity on the internet.
Well if some people you're following on tumblr or twitter get into it that would be a way to be exposed to a lot of content you didn't specifically seek out.

I'm not gonna lie, that exact reason plus the super hype train is turning me off from playing undertale, and was initially turning me off from steven universe as well. thankfully i was able to get into the latter anyways.
i try not to let hype interfere with my enjoyment of things that way since the game is the game and its fandom is one thing, but sometimes it just doesn't work that way.
