Rules. 1. Role play. You can roleplay as whatever you want. Yourself? Go for it. An OC? Go for it. A zombie? Go for it. 2. Players can change the rules or add new rules whenever they want. 3. Any rule that makes the game unplayable is to be ignored. 4. Any rule that makes the game unwinnable is to be ignored. 5. Know that the rules can legislate anything. Rules about emoticon usage are permitted. Rules about picture usage are permitted. Rules about text colors are permitted. Rules redefining words are permitted. Rules banning certain words are permitted. 6. What makes the game unplayable or unwinnable is decided by each player. 7. Improvisation is the name of the game. 8. Improvise. No rule is permanent. Whatever keeps the thread going is permitted. That which stops it is forbidden.

TL;DR version: Role play, make rules and keep the game going even if you have to break rules to do so.

So are we just supposed to do whatever, as long as it keeps the game alive?

A young girl knocked on the door of the house. She was a short little girl, no older than ten, with long purple hair. She was wearing a worn looking hoodie over a plain shirt and skirt, and stood at the door barefoot. She had a basket with her and also carried a shoulderbag over her shoulder. She waited for a response.

"Hello!"

I'm here about the herbs you ordered?

Suddenly realizing the voice wasn't coming from the house, she turned around. Behind her was...

New rule: everyone has to be acting like they're approaching a Black Hole 24/7 even though they really aren't.

New rule: Ooc conversations are allowed in double parentheses.

"Hello, again. Name's Ashling, nice to meet ya."

New rule: References to existing franchises are allowed.

She looked up at what, to her at least, appeared to some sort of black giraffe lady.

"Oh, uh, hello there... I'm Clara...."

New rule: Changes in setting must be agreed on by two or more people.

New rule: We are not in outer space.

New rule: If we ever are in outer space, Batman Can Breath In Space applies.

Ashling looks down at herself, then back at Clara.

"So, is this the one who wanted those herbs you got?"

"The person in this house, yea. Why? Are they not home?"

New rule: Hell has loads of ice cream!

"I don mow," she said as she eats some ice cream. Swallowing, she continues, "Maybe she is, maybe not. Who knows?"

New rule: hell is hot as shit so all the ice cream melts

"help i'm drowning"

I sure hope she is. I didn't come down here for nothing.

She looks around at all the ice cream.

I have to say, though, it's not nearly what I expected. So what are you doing down here?
