Is it a terrible thing to admit that I listen to this show almost entirely for Nightmind's hypnotically soothing voice?

Not really, Nick's voice is pretty soothing. I do get a bit annoyed when he tries to do serious yelling and crap like in the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared and Ben Drowned videos.

Can someone tell me who his buddy Nix is? I watched part of his crossover with Night Mind to review The Bye Bye Man a while back and the next I know he's in an article about how he and a bunch of other people are happy to leave Maker Studios.

He's shown up on my recommended list a few times and appears to be a horror movie reviewer under the name Nyx Fears. According to said list, he apparently thinks the last Rings movie was boring.

Well that movie has really bad reviews, so he may be right, IDK. He seems pretty cool.

Nyx is primarily a horror film reviewer Nick and him did do a crossover review of the Christmas Horror Story film. It was a two-parter with one video being Nightmind and the other being Nyx Fears.

So, I've been subscribed to Night Mind for a while and he has a few videos that piqued my interest: The videos on how to make a youtube series and his video on Hi I'm Mary Mary. I'm just in awe at how creative the latter is, and how inspirational the former videos are.

Also I just learned he's bisexual and that also makes me happy to see a well-known youtuber being LGBT :D

Does he still practice the practice of playing low frequency atmospheric sounds/music on backgrounds on his videos? You know, that thing where if human hears it they start feeling uncomfortable and goosebumbs due to that sound having that physiological reaction? Its really annoying to feel uncomfortable when trying to watch videos

That said, I haven't watched his videos in while because I got annoyed at him sniping at other videos and video makers .-. Like nothing annoys me more than youtubers getting views based on bashing other youtubers. That said, he did great videos, besides the fricking background music making me uncomfortable, so has he stopped either of those two things so I could start watching the guy again?

The only reason I know this guy is because he made an video on Jordan Underneath which was pretty good. I absolutely love Jordan Underneath's work so having someone draw more attention to him was nice.

Well alternative choice is that his voice has hypnotic effect on me, but I've at least assumed its the sound on the background

He has background music, but I don't think I've ever noticed him doing the thing you're talking about. And I've listened to a lot of his videos. This may just be you.
