No, it is OK to come here to recommend a fic. So as long as you aren't the author putting your fics on a Fanfic Recommendations page, that is.

(I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I'm having trouble figuring out which is quite the right place. I'd have made this a PM to the admins, but I can't find who they are, either).
I don't know much about editing and wiki stuff, and to be honest I don't really have a desire to do so with the regular (non-rec) trope pages. But TV Tropes is the first result that comes up when you search for fanfic, and it seems to be the go-to place for fic recs. I certainly come here a lot for that purpose. I have read some really good stuff that I'd like to share. If I am required to do other stuff before reccing, please tell me and I will try to think of something to edit, or leave quietly.
