Beat the New Game Plus. I followed the coded instruction the ARG twitter account tweeted a few weeks ago. Which is to say that I radioed Past!Alex. First I told her to contact emergency services. During the first flashback, Clarissa mentioned that one of her friends received the radio message but assumed it was a prank. This confirmed to Alex that the radio messages can be sent to the past. Not sure if the other options have the same result. Then, in the fallout shelter, I told Past!Alex not to come to Edwards Island. The ghosts mocked Alex for this and claimed that it wouldn't work.
The rest of the ending proceeded as normal, but after Alex talks about how she need to meet with Ren to catch the ferry there was an extra scene. Alex was meeting with Ren and Jonas. They were waiting for Ren's older sister to buy them beer for the trip, but Ren's sister was running late. Ren asked Alex to flip to a random channel on her radio: if she hears music, they'll go to Edwards Island without a bear. I flipped to channel 99.something (probably doesn't matter) and Alex got her message from her future self warning her to stay away from Edwards Island. Ren assumed that this was a prank that Alex pulled because she wasn't interested in the trip and didn't want to hurt Ren's feelings. Alex insists otherwise, but Ren figures that the last ferry has probably left by now and cancels the trip. Loop broken. The end.
Unfortunately, this means that Michael is still dead and Ren and Nona might never get together, but at least Alex is free.

Wow, that's pretty detailed. Glad there's at least one way to cancel the loop, at least.
There is one wrinkle: the ghosts imply that Alex isn't changing the past, she's creating parallel timelines, which means that Player!Alex might still be trapped in the ghost dimension. But my headcanon is that the game's events were overwritten and all Alexes are free.
The ARG ended. Looks like the reward is a music box that plays a couple of songs from the sound track and various letters that say:
To Alex,
Our name is Alex. We're sixteen. We go to Camena High School. Our brother Michael drowned. Do not come to Edwards Island. It's not safe.

Another thing about the "expansion": since Nona comments about also experiencing deja vu, does this mean that all five kids are trapped, and not just Alex?
Afterparty, a game about two college best friends who end up in Hell. In order to escape, they must outdrink Satan.
Nice. Too bad it won't be out until 2019.
Necromancy ensue, we've got Oxenfree 2.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)I only vaguely remember how the last one ended but isn't the face this stars a new character a bad sign for the previous main character?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. She’s stuck in a perpetual loop, so yeah, things don’t look too great for her.
It's been 3000 years…Maybe she'll be freed.
IS. NEW TRAILER. POSSIBLE?
YES. IS POSSIBLE.
Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is also coming to PS4 and PS5.
- Our new hero is Riley Poverly. While our heroes from the last game just got out of high school and were grappling with what they want to be, Riley is like "Have I been making the right calls? Am I who I wanted to be years ago?"
- Moving back to her old hometown of Camena as an entry-level environmental researcher was fine-ish...but then things get even WEIRDER.

Speaking of Oxenfree......https://www.gematsu.com/2021/09/netflix-acquires-oxenfree-developer-night-school-studio apparently It belongs to Netflix now.
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.Extremely late, but...I'm not sure how to respond to that.
Self-explanatory:
Some more details of their Tribeca ‘22 exhibition.

Nope. Clarissa disappears from the timeline but then it all resets. Nothing changes in the new ending because a different Alex never goes there in the first place. Presumably Nona and Clarissa are the only ones who show up, and nothing happens to them without the radio.
But as for the Alex you play throughout most of the game? Leave. Is. Not. Possible.
