Miraculous Ladybug

We may all have disliked Chloe, but getting to know more about her should be fun. Like, about her mother and what she will be like as a superhero.

Yeah.

I'm a little disappointed in this. I would have preferred Lila to be the Fox Miraculous holder and be one with an arc to becoming a better person. But I kind of knew it would have been too much of a stretch to have two people like that on team Miraculous.

I'm more disappointed in Alya becoming a hero though. I would have liked it better if either didn't become a hero at all or became one much later in the story. Since that will mean the Ladyblog pretty much ceases to be a point of concern for the heroes.

I do think the writers should be able to handle it well enough. I just would have preferred it a bit differently.

I do hope Alya isn't given the new Miraculous too early in the season though.

I gotta disagree, I don't care enough about Lila to become the Fox Miraculous.

Lila should get some character development at least.

She could be out of the show completely and I wouldn't care.

Holy shit, that's a pretty big crack in the status quo.

I wonder if Chloe will keep it from Sabrina, or if she'll hide it for similar reasons. Or given her massive ego, actively announce the fact. Either way, having LB and CN interact with more regular heroes/villains will be cool.

Also there's going to be some sweet transformations.

I wonder how this will alter how Chloe reacts to Ladybug. Are we going to end up with both Cat Noir and the Bee hero actively flirting/attempting to be friends with Ladybug?

I also think at least one identity will come out to someone during the course of the upcoming season. No idea which combination it will be though.

Alya being the Fox puts the kibosh (at least, apparently) on Lady Wi-Fi being a recurring villain if the villains did start recurring, which is a shame since of all the monsters/villains she was probably the one with the most narrative potential, but I'm now pretty interested in how they'll handle Alya as a hero. Looking back on it, Alya graduating from friend to ally is an obvious plan to go with for her.

Rather than the Ladyblog ceasing to be relevant, I think there's some potential amusement to be gained from Alya taking on a Peter Parker/Clark Kent style role and having the blog shift its attention to the new rising star of the superhero community, Volpina. Isn't she just totally the best superhero ever? Remember to like and subscribe to the Foxyblog, the only place you'll get regular exclusive interviews with the heroine herself!

Yeah, I kind of saw this coming from a mile away, but I didn't think it would be this big,!

Alya doesn't even look that good as Volpina or whatever her hero name will be. Hopefully they edit her design before the new season airs.

Does anyone else want Nathaniel to end up with as Hawk Moth? Because I do. Be great for someone as artistic as him, who loves making comics and drawing superheroes, to be able to make other people heroes. Am I right

And about Le Paon. Is it just me, or does Le Paon look like a girl? Maybe Mrs Agreste was the mistake Master Fu made. Also, I want to see more of Prince Ali. He should get the peacock Miraculous, as they are affiliated with royalty.

Since we might see more Miraculouses, I have some ideas for custom ones. Such as:

The Crow Miraculous. A pendant with a crow feather, the Crow Miraculous grants it's wielder the power of flight and problem solving. Given how intelligent crows are, I think this kinda works for a crow miraculous. The weapon of the Miraculous wielder of the Crow Pendant is a bunch of feathers which can be thrown at enemies. The ultimate ability of the Crow Miraculous is Intelligent Design, whereby the wielder takes an everyday object, and uses it for a purpose no one saw coming, making it into a tool. This ability is similar to Lucky Charm, but differs in that the wielder of the crow miraculous must find an everyday ordinary object and find an alternative use for it rather then have one created. Problem solving!

Eh, I'm personally not a fan of Nathanal. I find him to be pretty bland and boring. I'd prefer other characters getting development or Miraculous over him.

I once saw an insightful post about how a Miraculous is given to someone who needs to work on attaining that Miraculous's qualities, not one who already exemplifies them. So you should really be looking for whomever would be the most ironic to take on the next Miraculous. (Like truth-seeking Ayla gaining the power of deception, or Chloe having to learn the teamwork of a social insect...)

That does make sense, but it would have to be a long and near-death experience for Chloe to understand the importance of being a hero and not just for faves.

Okay.....

So, let's think. Who would the most ironic for the peacock and butterfly miraculous? What do they represent?

The butterfly miraculous is about giving people the power to be superheroes, right? So, who has problems with giving?

About Crow Miraculous superpower, sorry, but this is exactly Ladybug power only without, well, actual power.

Well, crows are considered to be wise, uses ad messengers by Odin and omen of bad things to come. Perhaps some kinds of "prophetic insight" power that could help user predict disasters and avert them?

Peacocks generally represent exuberance, beauty/grace, and either wealth or great influence. Symbolically it would probably best go to someone insecure and repressed, but ultimately with the potential to stand out.

Of the characters we already know, the best fits for that I can think of are Nathaniel and Juleka.

I dont hate Chloe. I just think that she is too flat. Even compared to Flash Thompson.

Possible, before all this I really thought none of the potential future Miraculous holders would be Akumatized villains.

Honestly, Juleka deserves to have a Miraculous after what she went through. Being locked in a bathroom when you are already pretty insecure would be very traumatising. She does seem like someone who should get that, cause out of all the people Chloe tormented, she got it the worst by far.
