Arcade watched Sera rant about Cole being gone with a mix of anger and confusion. Mostly confusion. He didn't really have much context for what she was rambling about. What he could pick up on was that she was kind of a bitch.

Sera and Josephine quickly left before he could even summon a response other than some bewildered sputtering. Eve quickly brought the attention over to her family, who seemed much more pleasant already.

Well, the one woman seemed very loud, but otherwise at least pleasant. "Uh, hi there," he said. Their attention seemed to mostly be centered on Cole, which was fine by him. One of them was frowning at him, though— something he wasn't exactly unused to.

Once he noticed that, he couldn't help but deflate slightly. He wasn't surprised at all, but it wasn't fun. The fact that his coat was the problem didn't even occur to him, given how rarely anyone cared about such a thing in the Wasteland.

I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

Two, Library - I Now Realize That I've Erred

In hindsight, the bluenette should have seen it coming that Caboose would prove an inexhaustible goldmine for Five's teasing the moment she thought of a call home. Between his innocence, his mild dimness and her penchant for finding innuendos even in the most innocuous of situations... they were destined for disaster.

"Tsk tsk, dear sister. You leave for a few days and already you engage in such thrilling entertainment?~" Two made a non-committal squeak, her entire personage red from head to toe. "With your good friends...?"

"But, I... that's... that's not what..." She mumbled, weakly trying to refute the arguments.

"Please, Caboose, dear, tell me all about your little game. Clearly you must have done something very" Five's already sultry voice turned even more salacious. "private if Two's turning redder than a redcap. He's adorable, dear sister. I wish I could coddle him some~"

Two, busy trying not to die from embarrassment, didn't actually get Caboose's full name, but Five got it all too well. "Now that's a name I haven't heard in a while. See, dear, you happen to share the name with Zero's dragon companion. A very handsome, enthralling dragon, may I add~" Who Zero was went unanswered, but - if the naming scheme was anything to go by - she must have been another of Two's sisters.

Cole looked at the other mirror at the people Eve was showing him, and immediately flinched at the sudden...loud reaction from the woman, instinctively drawing back against Arcade and all but clutching his own mirror to his chest. The three men on his also reacted, Varric and Dorian with just faint frowns of displeasure, and Bull with a slight head shake and a moment to fidget at his ear with one finger.

"Pleased to meet you, uh, ma'am," Bull said, turning up a slight smile. "Or...whatever this weird demony mirror crap is that's letting us all see each other right now."

Dorian, behind him, was studying Varric, who was settling back into the chair at his desk, and was only frowning more the longer he sat. The mage glanced back and forth a moment, before awareness seemed to dawn on him. "Amatus, I think we should go help Josephine with reeling in our elven friend before she manages to offend yet another set of Orlesian nobility today."

"Sera offends Orlesian nobility every-,"

"Amatus."

Iron Bull paused at that, glancing after a moment at Varric, at the mirror, then back again. "Right, right...uh. Hey. We're gonna...go check into that and...be back. Later. Hey, don't leave without saying goodbye, right, kid?"

Cole turned the mirror back to himself. "I won't, The Iron Bull. I will be here as long as I can."

Bull and Dorian nodded a little, trading a glance over Varric's head, then headed out of sight, with the faint sound of a door opening and closing rather quickly behind them.

"Cole, let's take a new look at these people, shall we?"

Cole nodded, seemingly unaware of a somewhat...dangerous tone in Varric's voice, and turned the mirror again to face everyone, just offering a shy smile, even as the dwarf was all but scowling out at them.

"Okay. I want some answers and I want them now. Which of you set this up. And why."

They weren't...exactly phrased as polite questions.

Two's sudden bout of redness didn't go unnoticed by Caboose. "You should probably stop doing that," he said as if she actually was choosing to blush. "Red and blue don't go together, because they make purple. Purple is like... the most unreliable color." He still was missing his toe.

"Well, I think it was private!" the red soldier said without any indication that he understood the hidden meaning behind a single word Five was saying. "A person's mind is supposed to be private, right? I don't know if Silanea would like everyone to know what her thoughts were like. There was a lot of fire though."

When Five started talking about Zero, it sent a few gears spinning inside Caboose's head. Pieces of information like the numbered naming scheme and Two calling One the oldest sister combined with his own experiences with theme naming. Of course, his brain wasn't equipped to deal with rapid deduction. For now, Caboose simply focused on everything else.

"Most people wouldn't call a dragon handsome," he said a tiny bit confused. "They are like giant lizards. You are kind of strange, aren't you?" He then added on "And you remind me of someone I know."

Finally his brain caught up with the thoughts it was mulling over. "Wait a second," he began. "Two said that One was the oldest and you were the youngest. If Five is the youngest than the age goes down as the number goes up! How can there be a Zero if One is the oldest?!" He actually sounded quite proud of his deduction here. "Unless... is she like the Alpha? Did you all come from her like... like fragments of a big thing?"

Prison

As mentioned before, there was still those air vents up in the ceiling, if Garrett and Riddler could find a way up to them. One of them was even conveniently left open by some master thief sneaking in just a while ago. There didn't seem to be any other convenient exits though. Meanwhile Riddler's plan of finding somewhere to duck into to hide had two problems. One was that the same pig orc who had chased them before did not waste time at getting back to it, so ducking into a hidey hole now had a significant risk of just getting themselves backed into a dead end with a guard blocking the exit. Two was that they were in the cell block now, which was basically laid out with avoiding exactly what Riddler had in mind; there were the halls which Garrett had already knocked out the cameras, possibly, and they could duck into one of the empty prison cells, but the problems with that are fairly obvious.

Also, rushing through the cell block area, they managed to come towards the front end of the prison, passing the communal holding cell in which Riddler had puked up his acid vial the other day. This brought them to a hall with a prison bar door at the end, which was closed, with another pig orc standing in front of it, leaning one of his arms on it to use his weight to keep it closed as he looked towards the two; just through the door, they could see part of the front entry lobby. There was also a normal door on the right, close to where the pig orc was standing.

"I don't normally fight too, no. I'm their trainer; I help them get better and tell them what to do" Louie said to Rean, taking a bite of the cuberry, then flexing an arm. "But I like to keep myself in shape, too. It does help, since I'm out on the road all the time anyway" the trainer added.

Then he leaned over slightly to glance over the edge of the table. "That's Pecha, my trapinch. She's my calm ground type; some day she'll evolve into a vibrava, and then later into a flygon. Once she evolves she'll also be dragon type" Louie explained, eagerly into his field of expertise.

"... Yes, both sides" Valentina muttered, still not looking away from the mirror. She held up a hand and placed it on the surface, a blueish aura briefly surrounding her hand. The surface of the mirror blurred, then turned into a window view of a large castle room.

There was three long tables, set up at ninety degrees to each other like three sides of an incomplete square, with various individuals who were dressed up in some degree of either royal fancy clothes, or polished up armor. A familiar face to those who saw the memory was easy to pick out: Tristen, though the seven years since had made him look more middle aged, was still quite rugged. He was sitting at the far end of the right hand table from the view, looking towards a messenger who was standing in the middle between the tables, just like everyone else sitting there was. At the middle of the central table sat an older man with grayed hair and a thick beard, placed in a much more ornate chair than those around him, and wearing a crown on his head. The king, obviously; he looked like he had seen better years, but wasn't quite at the 'put them in a home, they're done' point of old yet.

"-lanation for it yet, my lord. We've already dispatched for members of the college to come and investigate, but for now, it really does seem to be a miracle" the messenger was saying to the court, the view coming in right in the middle of his sentence.

Sir Tristen leaned forward slightly, and raised his hand just above his head for a moment, turning towards the king. "My lord, might I suggest we also send for Brother Darturien? If this really is a miracle, then surely it is the work of one of the gods. Perhaps the church can tell us which-" Sir Tristen was cut off by one of the nobles spotting the viewpoint of the mirror, which was a bit up off the floor, and pointed at it.

"Everyone, look there!" the nobleman yelled in surprise, "it's Lady Valentina!"

The king turned his gaze towards the mirror, his eyebrows raising just slightly. "Ah, Lady Valentina. I knew we could rely on you returning to us" the king said in a calm voice, like he had been expecting this the whole time, no, really. "But of course we must ask, just what did happen to you? Even our best mages cannot determine any evidence of why you suddenly vanished" he then questioned her.

"My lord" Valentina started, giving a bow. "I apologize for my sudden departure. I was not given a choice for a more agreeable time. I was kidnapped by a deity outside of our current knowledge, and it seems his power is greater than what we would expect" the sorceress explained.

"That's impossible! How could there be any gods that we aren't aware of?" one of the men at the left table yelled; from his fancy white robes and large hat, it wasn't all that hard to guess where his field of profession lied.

"That is a question for another time, Father. I am not here to argue the facts that I have been presented with; I am here to bring them to the attention of the king" Valentina responded to him in a tone of probably forced politeness, before returning her attention to the king. "I am currently in a far-flung plane that this deity has created, but fortunately my stay here is not to be permanent; I will be returning in nine days time" the sorceress said, her tone only mildly relieved about it, "I'll explain what this place is like after I am back; I think I'll probably write a book about it. Right now however, there is something more important to discuss."

The king leaned forward slightly, folding his hands together with his elbows resting on the table. "Are you by chance referring to the army of men come back from the dead that just appeared on the palace grounds?" the king asked, somewhat rhetorically.

It didn't seem like anybody on that side of the mirror had noticed anybody else yet; the mirror was angled up slightly, and maybe the field of vision wasn't as big on that side. If so, then the only person they were actually seeing right now was Valentina.

Library Lobby- She Paid the Price... Whatever It Was

Valentina activated the mirror, and Makoto got a little closer to see what appeared in it. She knew that Silanea's world was a medieval fantasy themed place, but having the inside of an actual castle with a whole group of people that looked like they came out of an Arthurian fairy tale made it much realer. She could even tell who the king was from where he was sitting and the crown on his head. They seems to be talking about some kind of miracle before the call went through, but Valentina had interrupted it.

As fascinating as it all was, Makoto didn't want to distract from the conversation, so she didn't get too close to the mirror as she listened in. Apparently Valentina's challenge had been completed and the effect of her reward were already in place.

"I wonder what the Writer had her do to revive those soldiers...?" she asked quietly. By all the things she heard about Silanea's, she thought that challenges would be more extensive.

“Gotcha.” Rean said, as Louie explained that he was more like a commander than a co-combatant. Then Louie said something about Pecha being a dragon-type.

“Wait, a Dragon?! No way.” Rean said, staring at the Trapinch again. To think that little thing could grow to be as big as a dragon! He then looked down at his plate of food. If he left it out any longer, it’d get cold, so he picked up a slice of the pizza and started chewing away.

While he was eating, he noticed Ben was kinda grouchy looking, completely opposite from how he was earlier. “Are you ok, Ben?” Rean asked, putting his food down. “This place has put you through a lot, hasn’t it?”

As Ben picked at his food, he perked up a bit upon Rean acknowledging him. He looked a bit beaten down, but nodded at the young man.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I guess. And yeah, it did," Ben replied. "I just wanna go home. I've been here for weeks." He slumped against the table. "At this rate, I don't know if the Writer's even gonna let us go at all. I don't trust him to keep his word. He might keep us here forever if it'd make things more interesting for him."

Ben looked outside of the buffet, almost tiredly.

"This is a break day, isn't it? I haven't gotten much of a break. There's gotta be some place out there we can relax," Ben pointed out.

Eve | Library | Juggling This Many Characters Is Not Fun

Eve looked at Rinslet, and Train gave a disapproving look at the thief. "Rins, you're scaring him," he said chidingly, and the thief settled down, causing Sven to take his hand off her mouth and wipe his hand on his pants. "Really, Rinslet? Really?" the green-haired man said, and Rinslet smiled and shrugged.

At the threatening tone iin Varric's voice, the two Sweepers seemed to straighten up, almost imperceptibly. Sven opened his mouth to say something, but Eve held out a forestalling hand, and looked at Varric. "It was the combination of several different factors," she said, voice calm. "I asked for a challenge to save Arcade, Rex asked for a challenge to turn Cole into a kid, and the deity holding us all here decided to have Arcade adopt Cole to save both their lives. From what I've heard of Thedas, it's not exactly kid-friendly. If you have a complaint, not only should you direct it to the deity far more powerful than you, you should also get in line, because mass kidnapping tends to cause a fair amount of protest." Eve gave a small sarcastic smile, and raised her eyebrows. "Why, was there something you wanted to say?"

Library, someone's nanite-infested ears may be burning soon

"Rex. Okay. That's a new name. Now, I gotta say for whatever you might know of Thedas, generations of children have been born and raised here, but that's beside the point. I suppose my next question is, why in the name of Andraste's dimpled buttcheeks did this 'Rex' person decide to go through with some... challenge to turn Cole into a child?"

There was a pause, before Cole turned the mirror back to himself, speaking in a soft voice, keeping his eyes averted to one side. "I...I...wanted this, Varric."

The dwarf's clearly dangerous tone lightened immediately, and Arcade and Eve might see his expression soften as well. "...you...wanted this, Kid? I mean...don't get me wrong, I knew what was happening when Chuckles and I went with you and the Inquisitor after that Templar, but...isn't this taking the whole 'real boy' bit a little far?"

"I wasn't sure at first. It was just...a game, a play, a way to...be something else, for a while. To not be..."

Cole's voice trailed off, but a clear dawning of both awareness...and no small amount of sympathy...could be seen on Varric's face. "To not be a freak. Or a demon. Or whatever other names people have called you."

"...yes. To not be...weird. That is...that is the one that I heard...here."

Varric let out a slight chuckle. "Kid, I hate to tell you this, but it was never your body that made you weird. ...and frankly, you aren't alone in being weird around this place, either. And going by the noises I just heard, those folks in the other window ain't high on the roster of normal themselves."

The dwarf seemed to be distracted for a moment, glancing to one side, sizing Arcade up. "Speaking of weird, what about you, Fancy? You're sitting there looking like you expect an army of darkspawn to come crawling past the horizon any second. ...shame about that nice coat of your's. Some old white wine will help with those stains. Good for cleaning up blood."

I didn't have anything to add to this situation (yay for still being a useless piece of shit), but it didn't occur to me to just leave like a sensible person. She turned to a mirror, and this was a court meeting now, apparently. With a king and the asshole knight and everything. This all seemed like an obvious development in hindsight. I never did like politics, or know anyone who did, except maybe the odd raving loon on the internet. Real world politics, anyway. Though I guess fictional politics wasn't actually a thing...The first thing she did, naturally, was explain herself, which earned her a question about...

Two, Library - Sister Talk, Now With More Sisters

"Ah, careful, dear. Three might take offense." Five giggled when Caboose mentioned purple being "the unreliable color". His further words about Silanea - probably this snake lady - and her mind brought mild confusion to the blonde, but she brushed it off. Probably best to go along with it.

"A-actually, we visited her mind to try and rid her of the nightmares troubling her." Two explained, her blush slightly fainter and her voice back in her throat. "It was a lot of fighting, but we have reached a happy conclusion."

"Hm. Well, I'll believe you on that, sister." In those rare moments of self-awareness, Five didn't like to admit she wasn't quite in the know. Caboose provided a welcome change of topic. "Oh, they're definitely giant in more ways than one~" This time Two was prepared, only rolling her eyes a little.

And then came the time of a zany theory that wasn't as zany as Caboose could have thought. "Well... we don't talk about Zero on One's request." Two said after a moment of silence from both sisters. The bluenette's face was adorned with a saddened expression while Five's turned uncharasterically thoughtful. "She is the oldest, and we would really like for her to come back, but... she's not our friend anymore."

"She came back to Cathedral City some time ago. Slaughtered her way through the people, tried to kill us together with Michael." She hummed, playing with a lock of her hair. "There was no reasoning with her, so we had to force her away. We're not sure if she's still alive. She'll always be our dear loving Zero, but..."

"Enough of those sad topics. Caboose, dear, mind taking that helmet off for me?~" To Five's credit, she bounced back pretty fast.

Arcade had no trouble recognizing that he was being threatened. Almost on instinct, he started hunching into a more defensive stance, looking prepared to fight. Eve spoke up, however, which caused that to dissipate almost immediately.

At Varric and Cole's back-and-forth, Arcade could only focus on the fact that the poor kid had apparently been dealing with a lot of bullying. He didn't want to interrupt the conversation, so all he could do was place a hand on his shoulder commiseratively.

It took him a few seconds to even realize that Varric was referring to him. "Wh- Fancy?" he asked, bewildered, "how does that... what about me is fancy? And I'm not... it's nothing."

"I don't care, the only purple I know was kind of bad at everything he did," Caboose said with some genuine annoyance. "Aside from getting possessed by an evil AI and trying to kill us. It's kind of an inside joke, except it was not funny at the time."

Caboose added on to Two's explanation of the mindscape business. "Also we were rolling a lot of dice for some reason!" he proclaimed. Then Five commented on his description of dragons. "Giant in many ways... like teeth and claws and pride and fire? You keep on speaking like there's some sort of joke but I don't get it!"

He soaked in the information about Zero like a sponge, rapidly matching it with his own experiences and knowledge. The history of the reds and blues was one of the few things about his life that he knew well, so Caboose could at least make connections back to it relatively easily. "I think once someone is like that you can't act like they don't exist," he said hesitantly. "I'm more used to people trying to kill me and then ending up becoming like family, not the other way around."

Anyone else would probably rebuke Five on her sudden tone shift, but Caboose was even worse in that regard and hardly even noticed. "What helmet?" he said somewhat confused. When he reached up to his head, he let out a giggle and said "Oh! So that's why I couldn't recognize my face in the mirror! Sure, I'll take it off!"

Caboose reached up to the helmet and started fiddling with things. "I forgot how to take off my helmet!" he said in a way that suggested he didn't think of this as an odd thing to forget. Despite this, he continued fiddling with random things. Suddenly the visor turned black and Caboose said with some distress "Ah, it's happening again! There is no light and I am blind!" Soon enough his panicked scrabbling at the helmet must have fixed things because the visor turned back to its normal color.

"In my experience the only people who could be considered fancy are either cannibals, rapists, or incredibly obnoxious," Arcade snarked without thinking. Shaking his head, he added, "look, this is the only coat I have, and I had basically given up any hope once I was sent back for... for a month?"

There was really no way to respond but honestly, so taking a breath, he nodded. "It's called the Wasteland for a reason," he replied, "not to mention that I'm being hunted down because of my father's actions. Ara Haan (Library) - Cannot Resist

"I see... okay..."

The curiosity was starting to get to Ara, despite her best attempts to focus. Then again, it did not seem to be a good time for talking. Rex seemed to be busy with his own thing, so it was probably better to just leave him be for the time being; Jack, in the meantime, probably needed some time to talk to the writer and then he'd have to look after the children. Surely they would both stick around for some time, so... it would not hurt to leave for a few moments... would it? She could return quickly, and she would talk to both of them and then she would be able to resume her training.

...but she continued to hesitate nonetheless.

"I... changed my mind," she spoke, not sounding all that convinced of what she was saying. "Could you... take me there now, maybe?"

Two, Library - More Sisters

"You're so adorably innocent..." Five purred approvingly, setting the communication doodad on the table as she herself took a seat - now letting the other side of the convo appreciate the entirety of her indecent figure as she put one leg over the other and slowly leaned forward, accentuating certain parts of herself. "It's a shame we can't meet in person."

The topic of their wayward eldest sister came up again. "You don't have to worry your pretty little head over it, dear." Five assured. Two's expression seemed to suggest that this wasn't the best of ideas. "Call it a family quarrel."

"Ah, um... do you want me to help you with that, Caboose?" The bluenette asked seeing that her friend was having trouble taking the thing off. Not... all that surprising, all things considering. Before she could actually help, some new faces made their arrival on the other side of the conversation.

"Just in time, dear sisters~" Two sisters, were clothed in green and in purple respectively. The numerals on their foreheads - seemingly the only thing that Intoners had in common appearance-wise - suggested that these were Four and Three.

"Two. It is good to see you." Ever polite, Four smiled and nodded hello at her older sister. Three, ever lethargic, merely parroted the nod and mumbled something that might have sounded like "hey" as they took their seats. "Is it really true, that you are stranded in another world?"

"Something like that, yes. I'll explain as concisely as I can."

"...don't have to rush." Three yawned, scratching her cheek idly. "All the time in the world. Could be fun." The purple Intoner looked over at Caboose, head tilting slightly. "Golem?"

"Oh no, that's my friend Caboose. Caboose, these are Three and Four."

"He's a joy to talk~" Five assured cheerfully. Four made a face as if she was chewing on something sour. Five's endorsement couldn't mean anything good.

Varric...well, he stared Arcade down, really, gaze unbreaking for a moment, before leaning forward in his chair again, looking to Cole. "Kid, I get you, I do. Varric's expression went from calculating, and somewhat judgmental, to a quick raised eyebrow, and some not quite hidden concern. "Chuckles? ...do you know something about him, Cole? What about him? What's going on?"

"It...it might...it might take longer than you think to explain that, a-and...and I wanted...I wanted you to...to meet the people...here. Helping. I wanted them to meet you. To get to know you. I..." There was a slight sniffle, and Cole reached up with one hand to rub at an eye. "...I won't...I don't think...after this...I'll get to talk to you again..."

"...okay, okay, it's all right, Cole, take some breaths now, huh?" Varric watched in some concern a moment before glancing at Arcade. "Okay...I can see the gaps in things wider than the Bull's horns...but. All right. We're meeting. ...what's up?"

Library

Five really seemed kind of weird. Every little thing she said seemed to be laced with something secret that Caboose was dying to figure out... almost like Tucker! This realization made the soldier slightly less eager to understand what she was saying. Images of that cursed rock in Blood Gulch flashed through his dull mind. "Well, of course I am innocent!" he said, completely misunderstanding which definition of innocent she was using. "I definitely have not committed any crimes!" Teamkilling aside, probably true.

When Two offered help with the stubborn helmet, Caboose responded "No help needed... I have a plan!" The soldier then proceeded to demonstrate his fool proof plan by not doing anything. "Giving up! I'll figure it out later."

The new people on screen seemed very different. The blue soldier mentally assigned them into the personality archetypes of Grif and Simmons, since one seemed to be incredibly tired and uninterested while the other seemed polite and restrained. Caboose also noted that he didn't seem to be wrong in his general assessment of the color purple; Three didn't look too reliable.

"Hello! I am Caboose," he enthusiastically said after Two introduced him. "And I don't think I'm a golem... yeah, the librarian here told me I was a human being! Though that was a few days ago... can it change that quickly? Can it even change?" Caboose seemed to get a bit lost in thinking about that, just blankly looking towards the screen.

It was only natural for Arcade to hunch defensively at Varric's subtle (and not so subtle) questioning. Sure, Arcade wanted desperately to get out of the Wasteland, but not at the expense of Cole's happiness.

That disappeared once Cole started to sniffle. Pulling him closer, Arcade rubbed circles into his shoulder. "Hey, hey," he said, softly, "we're here for you. It's alright." He didn't even bother to look up at Varric until Cole made it clear that he could get through the conversation.

I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

The Library — Into the wolf's mouth

"Hold the phone, she's done with the challenge already? Seriously?" Rex asked Makoto. Apparently she was much better at bargaining than he was "Whatever, I already knew I was the Writer's chew toy" he said, crossing his arms.

The court didn't sound all that unreasonable so that was good news. Rex just knew that was a temporary thing, though, any second now they would threaten to kill him or something for bringing the lamias back. In the meantime, a few more humans could be of help to convince them that this was the right move.

Rex walked to where Two and Caboose were, to see if they (actually, only Two) would want to weight in on the situation.

"Hey you guys coming or... wow" he blinked a few times, not expecting Two's call to involve her sisters. Clearly, good looks ran in the family "Hello there" he waved at the Intoners.

Library Lobby- I Guess I'm In Charge Now?

"She has to have done it if the soldiers are already back," Makoto said to Rex, before he complained that the Writer was harder on him. For all she knew, maybe he was for some reason one of the Writer's "favorites". Favorite playthings, anyway. Rex went back over to where Two was, leaving Makoto with the diplomacy party. She didn't really mind, since nothing pressing was happening at the moment and it gave her less people to keep track of. She hadn't expected Lewis to stay for very long, but he apparently planned to see this through as well.

"In order to come to an agreement on trying to make a treaty, Valentina wanted to save the lives of the soldiers that also died during the attack on the Lamia Village. Kind of like an equal do-over for everyone so there were less hard feelings," she explained to him, trying to sum things up. "She asked for a challenge and the Writer accepted."

Eve | Library | The Best Family Is The One You Choose Yourself...Or The One A Ten-Dimensional Douche Chooses For You. Whatever.

By common, but unspoken, consensus, the Sweepers and the thief had decided to stay silent while the others were talking to Varric. Nevertheless, the expressions on their faces told an impressive story. In particular, when Cole started to sniffle, Sven, instinctively, reached out a hand to comfort the hatted child, before remembering that he was on the other side of the screen.

Eve, for her part, simply placed a light hand on Cole's shoulder.

Two, Library - More Sister Talk

Well, Caboose's plan was certainly foolproof. "If you say so..." Two couldn't help but sound a little worried. Since they've met, she never saw Caboose without the helmet on. Was it healthy to wear it all the time like that?

"Your friend is certainly... unique, sister." Four smiled an overly polite smile, causing Five to snicker a little and Two to cough awkwardly in response. Three, meanwhile, perked up some when Caboose pondered the intricacies of race change.

"Certainly possible. Alterations not too difficult." She moved some hair out of the way, shuffling closer to the screen. "Melding essence or reshaping an existing one can be done with proper materials and a right approach. Some faith helps, because experiments like these are prone to misfires." Her way of talking changed, turning very animated and quick; in fact only going quicker as she began explaining the ins and outs of the process. In fact, she was still going on when Rex showed up, choosing to put him on a backburner for now in favor of finalizing her thought.

"Hello there, handsome~" Five greeted Rex with a little seductive smirk and a small push of her chest forward; not that it wasn't near exposed already anyway. "Are you another of Two's good friends...?" The bluenette blushed again, making it clear just what her younger sister must have meant by that.

"Greetings. Please pay no heed to Five. She has a habit of stirring men's desires without any shame or consideration for their feelings." Four spoke immediately after.
