Ciri quickly recognized Rex under the suit. That wasn't too bad but the fact that she started a casual conversation with him and pointed out the radio had mentioned him when they were meters away from the leader of the Anti-Humans and two members of the militia complicated things. Rex quickly closed the distance between himself and Ciri.
"Shh, keep your voice down" he briefly pointed at where the two militia members where "I'm trying to be stealthy here. Right now, just pretend my name is Jack, ok?"
He then went on talking like usual as if nothing had happened.
"I didn't know you had met Abel either. I got him out of trouble the other day. He tried to steal some food"

Unfortunately, or rather as usual, Shinji didn’t get to do what he wanted as not too long into his cassette, there was a slight rumbling and a very, very loud shout, something about “zeno” or something. Once again by reflex, though this time with a little exasperation, he took off his earphones and looked up. To say the least, he was surprised at the sight.
There was a man—or at least he assumed it to be—in large armor, all orange and black with a spider as some sort of symbol. The two red dressed guys from earlier were there too. And then there was what looked like a man...until it was below his torso which was a spider body without its head. Shinji wasn't really sure what to think of it. Well, at least until the three started talking to each other.
Shinji gulped and carefully returned his SDAT player into his costume. He might not be used to talking to people, but he could tell that he didn't really want to be a part of this. But still...as he watched, he had to admit, he admired the guy—Kamina, from what he said to the armored man—for not being intimidated.
"You said you had a dream... That dream... Make it come true! ... If anyone can, it's you!" - N (shortened) Oh, and I'm a girl.
Festive streets - Their hearts were just not in it
Fortunately, that explanation plus what Arf said seemed to have convinced Arcade that the situation was nothing like what he had seemed to have thought, so that was good. Meanwhile, she had sorta expected an onslaught of embarassing comments from Sans, so it was also fortunate that she had gotten off lightly with just that pun ... At least for now. So despite herself, she did manage to laugh a bit at it.
Even though Arf's comment had been seemingly said out loud to no one in particular, Caro still replied, "Well, the last day like this we had was a beach one and the changes were pretty unobstrusive. We got swim suits and all, but he could choose to put those on. On the other hand, on the day Sans and I arrived, the city itself didn't change much but everyone got their ages reversed ... So I guess the storyteller god must have his fun in someway ... At this is pretty harmless, specially when compared to some of the normal days we faced ..."
Soon afterwards, Sans found another ride, this one seem much wilder than the previous one ... Actually, that structure looked a lot like the wrecked one she had woken up in two days ago ... Oh, so that was what that "train" had been supposed to be! Well, it did seem a bit extreme, but it probably could be fun. Besides, she rode and flew on an actual dragon regularly. This shouldn't be much compared to that. She should be able to handle this ... Right?
"Well, that certainly looks like it could be more ... Thrilling ... Some of us might not want to go on something that wild though ..." she said, glancing a bit at Fate and then Cole, lingering a bit more on the latter, "So maybe we could take turns, so everyone who wants to go can, while at the time ensuring that we don't end up getting separated and shifted away and such ..."
As she was browsing the foods, Curly briefly noticed someone talking to the kid with the eyepatch and him pointing at "Jack" and Silanea for a moment, then feeding something hiding in his coat? She blinked at the sight, but the militia members headed for the NHA leader caught her attention and she approached them and Silanea with a curious "Did something come up?"

Abel - Universe Buffet
As Ciri looked, Abel dropped the rest of the nuggets into his jacket unceremoniously and stood up, declaring how he was gonna get more food. As he walked, a couple of half-eaten nuggets fell out of his coat. A few minutes later, he came back with more nuggets, some alien variation of macaroni and cheese, and a stack of cookies decorated with various holiday symbols, each on their own plate. He slid into his seat and started eating again, unaware of the group forming around him.

"Well, maybe not everybody knows that. And it can still be hard to accept a young kid charging into danger even so" Chuck said simply to Ben in response to his comment about having the 'greatest tool in the universe'. As Ben got set up to watch his own series, Chuck and Melanie followed suit, getting snacks for themselves. A bit after they entered the theater, Del'Guk came in too, looking curious and maybe a little judgemental with his arms folded, but stayed in the back, just wanting to see what this would be like.
"An emperor who in his limitless wisdom understands what xenos will do to humanity when given the chance. Even you should understand that, if that underground imprisonment you speak of is true" Brother Marcus replied, speaking as if pointing out something incredibly obvious. "That xenos might be harmless" the space marine went on, pointing at Bergree, "but that does not mean his people would show any mercy to our people." Bergree himself, for his part was hastily trying to silently motion at Kamina that what he was doing was a bad idea.
The space marine then stood up straight and repeated one of the common sayings of the Imperium, "so long as the enemies of the Emperor still draw breath, there can be no peace." Then he turned and started to walk down the street. "If you're so foolish as to trust the xenos, then that will be your downfall. Not mine" Brother Marcus told Kamina dismissively.
Phillip glanced at Curly as she walked up and asked her question. "That's what we were trying to figure out. Yesterday the NHA nearly started a riot, and some of them are still yelling at us about Rex. And their leader here has been nowhere to be seen to get things under control" Phillip said to Curly, motioning a hand at Silanea, who just looked ashamed and sad.
Nails looked more sympathetic than Phillip did, who just looked annoyed. "We just don't want things to get any worse" Nails said simply, with a sort of uncertain half frown.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." Silanea muttered, glancing down at the floor.

For the Horde!
Ben sat down near the front, beginning to chow down and watch. He wasn't recognizing what was going on with Vilgax in his ship, there was some kind of conflict in space above Earth...
And then the intro came up. And that theme song.
Immediately Ben started laughing, clapping and cheering a little bit. "This is awesome!" Ben exclaimed. A couple people made a 'shhhh' sound and Ben controlled his enthusiasm silently, grinning a bit still. The episode proper started up, and Ben was intrigued how much it was capturing of his life. He found it both interesting, engaging... and a little disturbing, that his life was being captured by this show in such detail. He wondered how much it would capture of his life, continuing to watch.
Holy crud. So far episode was spot on with what happened that day, the day he found the Omnitrix in the crater, the day he first became a hero. He was chowing down on his bag of popcorn, eager to see more, but he knew he would have to get going soon.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.
"It's not your fault if some of the non-humans are reacting poorly to Rex's decision" Curly told Silanea quickly as she started to apologize before addressing the militia members hopefully "Still, that sounds troubling, but surely everyone will settle down as the day goes on, right?"

Now, she included the chicken-nugget kid into this important conversation by asking "Steal? I wasn't aware there was even a shortage to begin with. Is it really that bad?" to Abel.
Then, it hit her. Of all the things in this town, there'd have to be one. At least, one that wasn't Arf.
"...Wait, I know! We'll find a dog! They used to be nice to me back home, and...shoot, I'd like to have someone listen to me for a change!" She got up, scanning the horizon for canines, to find none in her immediate vicinity. "We can teach it to guard me, and everything!"

The Librarian poofed up some Dr. Pepper for me. However, it was in a can and not in a bottle like I wanted. Still, Dr. Pepper is Dr. Pepper, right? I took a sip and had a real wide grin on my face.
Then the scientist mentioned that there was this world or somethin' where the people who made Dr. Pepper was kings. Now, that's just ridiculous. Soda-makers ain't got the skills to the rule the world, right? Still, I listened to the scientist and just played along with him.
“Sure...” I told the scientist. “Can you tell me more about that world where the guys who made Dr. Pepper became kings?”

Garrett took a while to mull over all the information he had about the fellow keeping them imprisoned. It wasn't reassuring. Garrett had out-tricked a god before and he had thought he could pull it off again, but Tairee's boss was evidently on a whole other level. Perhaps the Hammerites were onto something with their preaching about the Master Builder who ruled over all... but they sure wouldn't have liked the implication that this capricious fellow, and apparently his friends, were the real "Master Builder".
He turned towards Pastor Daniel. "Do you seriously think he's benevolent just because he provides up food and comforts? Well, the fighting bears at the bear-pits are also fed. so they'll be in shape for the fights... and they're pampered after a victorious fight. Or perhaps you might explain what was exactly so benevolent about sending bloodthirsty monsters against innocent men, women and children two days ago, while taking away any means we had of defending ourselves. Death isn't permanent, you say? But pain and agony are still real here, you know."
THE SLORG!
"... What a weird form of entertainment" Del'Guk's left head commented as the episode went on. "So he gets an artifact of untold power, and plays with it like a toy; what a responsible hero" his right head added with some sarcasm.
"Are you really blaming a kid for acting like a kid?" Melanie responded critically.
"When it comes to wielding such power, that should be no excuse for abusing it" Del'Guk's left head responded to her.
"But it is my fault that I wasn't there trying to calm them down" Silanea muttered quietly, barely looking up slightly at Curly. "It's my fault that I've been off feeling sorry for myself instead of acting like a leader... I can't do anything right" the lamia continued, glancing down again, her shoulders shaking slightly.
"Woah uh, okay time out" Nails said, motioning for Phillip to shush before the more brash militia member said anything else. He then stepped forward, a bit closer to Silanea. "I don't know what your deal is right now, and it's probably not my business to know. We need you to help out, but I don't think you could help until you've been helped" the militia member told her, then got his walkie talkie.
"Hey guys, Nails here; anybody know of any shrinks in the city? Maybe somebody with telepathic powers that can make you feel good? Heck even just some good weed could be worth a shot" Nails said into the militia channel.
Phillip, silencing himself on the Silanea matter, glanced at Curly to address her other statement instead. "I don't know... But I guess at least today they can't hurt anybody no matter how mad they get" Phillip said, though still frowned somewhat.
"Is it not common for any god to send their chosen through hard trials? We know our god seeks a good story, so he challenges us with stories, both light and dark" Pastor Daniel rebutted Garrett, speaking calmly and politely. "The fact that we will be returned home safely in due time regardless of how we fare speaks for itself. I've learned of many a god that would not be so generous; that most gods would leave those who failed for the fate that befell them" the man explained, clearly not shaken by the master thief's argument.

Curly set her half filled plate on one of the buffet counters and put an arm around Silanea for a hug from the side "Hey, that's enough. If you wanna blame someone then blame me for assuming someone else could deal with the trouble makers while we got food and explored"
As Nails finished his transmission Curly tuned her internal radio to the militia's channel to listen for responses, though given the nature of his device that was likely unnecessary. Still holding and squeezing Silanea gently the robot turned her head to Philip for a moment and said confidently "We're gonna find a way to fix things soon"

"Stealing food in a place where it never runs out of food? He's quite the little scamp then, isn't he," Ciri said to Rex, teasingly pulling at Abel's ear."Do you have any plans for after you've breakfasted," she asked, looking at Rex specifically but addressing everyone at the table. "Considering that there are magics in place to keep us from harm, this seems a good chance to explore and familiarize ourselves with as much of the city as possible."

"I, uh, didn't know it just came back," Abel mumbled, then flinched when Ciri tugged on his ear. "Hey, can you not do that?"
"But yeah, I only got here, like, two days ago." He leaned back into his seat and rubbed his forehead. "I'm still not sure how this works, to be honest."

Ciri wanted to get familiar with the city which Abel agreed to because he had been there only for two days now.
"I've been here for a while and I'm still not sure how any of this works. I didn't even know this buffet existed. I just roll with the punches"
Ciri continued, asking the group if any of them had any plans after eating breakfast. Funny she would mention that.
"Ever heard of a roller coaster?"
Meanwhile, Phillip and Nails were talking to Silanea. When she was accused of not calming down her group for the riots they were causing because of Rex, she reacted much more differently than Rex would have expected. She apologized and took the blame for everything, shocking the two militia members and prompting Curly to try and calm her down.
"Do you know what's up with her? Maybe she got bad news from her home?" he asked both Abel and Ciri.

"Oh of course, wouldn't want any of the coins you have stowed away back there to fall out, would we?" Ciri teased Abel."A what coaster?" she asked Rex, before looking at the people he was talking about. "I've never seen them before, I wouldn't know."

Abel only glared at Ciri's little joke while stuffing his face full of cookies. He was getting full; he realized he hadn't been full in a long time. He pushed his plate(s) away and turned to Rex. "I've never been on a rollercoaster," he said off-handedly.

Simon finally couldn't handle it anymore. He hastily walked up to Kaminas side and told him nervously, "Bro, you should stop. I don't like that guy either but we can worry about him later. I don't want you to get hurt right now......."
Kamina looked to the side at his little bro and his face softened to a warm smile. Resting his nodachi again, he told Simon, "Ok Simon. We can show him the power your drill holds later." and then placed a hand on the blue haired boys shoulder.
Kamina then turned his attention to Bergree. Kamina told him, "Look, everything I told that metal thug is true. People just like you have imprisoned and killed many humans just because we are humans. I can't ever forget that and hell, maybe he is right in saying that Beastmen or Xenos or whatever the hell you are will just end up always facing off against human kind......." Kamina then looked up at him, "but I don't give a damn about any of that! Your not my enemy. So nice to meet you! I'm Kamina, leader of Team Dai-Gurren!" Kamina flashed a huge smirk at him and then X.
Simon on the other hand felt comforted by his bro's words. Yeah, they would show that guy what happens when you do that to other people. He then took notice of Shinji. Huh, a kid of his age! He made a small smile and moved over to the sad looking boy and sat down next to him. Kamina can handle that scary looking spider guy and the red armored guy. Simon asked Shinji gently, "Hello. My name is Simon. Nice to meet you. Why are you looking so sad? Did you get taken from something important? Me and my bro got taken from something important but I'm sure that we will get back in time to save the day. That's what my bro would say and I believe in him." Simon looked fondly at Kamina as he said that.

As for Ciri's more pertinent question, she said "Roller coasters...do you know how a minecart operates, yes? It's like that, in a loop, and people ride it for fun. And for that matter...I've never been on one either, now that I've thought about it."
Shoot, Seiga hadn't even visited a park in years, and that last time was just to perform a shady deal for some ground up rhino horns. It turns out they're a great component in scrying spells, who knew?

When the episode finished, Ben stood up and started to exit the theater, looking at Del'Guk disappointedly. "Dude. Dudes? I dunno. Dude, I'm not trying to abuse my power," he told Del'Guk. "I wanna try and be a good hero, I just need to find a way to do that, cause the City hasn't given me the moment to really be a good hero yet. Except for the zombie day."
He sighed, starting to look out at the door. "I dunno. It's been rough here is all. I imagine it's been pretty rough for you anti-human dudes too," he muttered. "What's your world like?"

Unsuprisingly, Ciri didn't know what a roller coaster was but Seiga chimed in with a simple explanation of the ride.
"Yeah, it's pretty awesome"
Ciri, Abel, and Seiga had never been on a rollercoaster. Rex himself had no memories of ever doing that in his entire life. Which, thanks to his amnesia, meant little more than a year, it's not like he was wasting his time around.

Shinji sighed in relief that nothing bad happened. He didn’t like fights, period. Especially if it meant someone that scary looking. He was going to back to listening to his SDAT again when the other boy decided to sit by him. Shinji did his best not to flinch, both from surprise and discomfort. And then the boy started talking to him, introducing himself as Simon. He hadn’t expected that. Or his words.
Shinji looked to him with wide eyes, and if his mask hadn’t been there, his slightly open mouth would be noticed too.
“W…What…?”
They were taken also? Out of nowhere? Just…like him? That meant…dare he think of it…he wasn’t alone, at least in his predicament. But his surprise soon left him as Simon continued and even asked him a question and another. He slouched again. As much as he wanted to believe that they’ll go back home…he didn’t think so, especially considering his luck. And he…wasn’t sure what to answer. Should he tell him? Should he say it was because everything had been taken from him? Again?
No, he couldn’t. Could he? He didn’t know. But it would be rude not to answer and…Simon didn’t seem so bad. Or his brother, Kamina. So he maybe could answer, at the very least give some sort of reply.
“Because…I…I don’t know if I’ll ever get back…” He paused as he gave some thought for his second question, and turned off his SDAT for now. “I…No… At least…not when I was taken.”

What Kamina did understood about this booze was that it was him that acted like the Beastmen back home. A warden that kept this guy and others like him from taking the path that they deemed fit. Kamina knew exactly how to react to this bastard.
Kamina told Brother Marcus with a confident and bold tone as he looked up at him, his sword on his shoulder and a hand on his hip, "Who am I???........Who the hell do you think I am!! I am Kamina, the paragon of manliness! I don't have whatever crap your telling me that I have! I fought and killed Beastmen not because I hated their kind or any bullshit like that! I fought against them in order to free all of mankind from their underground imprisonment. This guy," Kamina cocked his head in a gesturing manner at Bergree, "doesn't seem to desire my death or imprisonment that much. You remind me of those guys though. Your the kind of bastard that would break down these "xenos" path that they made for themselves just because they look like a spider! What kind of Emperor would want that!?"
Simon during all of that just became more and more concerned for his blood bro. He could feel that a fight was about to happen, no harm possible be damned.
