The Judge - Outer Space - It's not very effective...

Well, that didn't work. The Judge sighed and slammed his face against the robot's back as they were suddenly put into motion, blasting away at incredible speeds. The sun's gibberish just made it harder to formulate a plan, so in the end he gave up and tried a different strategy. He attempted to hit the angry sun with his weakest move, Conniving Aneurysm, just to see if it would actually work. Given the circumstances, it probably would have very little effect, or even none at all, but it was worth a shot. When he was done, he clung tighter to the only thing keeping him from being trapped in the vacuum of space.

On a Ship, I Wanna Be Grown Up
It took a little bit of time, but Yoshika managed to key in on what he was saying. These people seemed pensive about her for no real reason, it's not like they'd been in the same building they were going to yet either. That is, all of them were visiting this hostage crisis for the first time, how did anything else factor in?

"They're overthinking it, right? Or maybe, they're worrying about people not being as good as them? Either way, I'm sure it'll be fine. If you stay around me, I'm sure I can block bullets headed your way."

Yes, she totally got what Thomas was saying. Entirely correct.

Chase coming to an End

The Angry Sun ignored Wander and Sylvia and kept chasing after the rest of the group. As X and the other rounded around the large moon, the satellite began to rotate.....

"RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA YOUR DEAD MEAT YOU LITTLE WHOA WHOA whoa whoa........whoa." The Angry screeched to a halt and stopped dead in its tracks upon seeing the face of the moon.

Silence.

The Formerly Angry Sun stared at the moon awkwardly, trying to avert its eyes. "So.......uh.......you've seen some little guys around here?" the sun awkwardly asked.

The moon said nothing.

"Uh.........okay then.......um........." the sun said, starting to become nervous.

The moon said nothing.

"I'll just be going.......this way......." The sun started to float away.

The moon said nothing. The moon started to move, following the sun........

"Hey man, are you following me?" the sun asked.

The moon said nothing. The moon continued to follow.

"H-H-Hey, uh, uh back off pal!" the sun pleaded.

The moon said nothing. The moon starting to speed up.

"I'm warning you! B-B-B-Back off!!" the sun said, gradually speeding up.

The moon said nothing. The moon sped up, even FASTER.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" The sun zoomed away in terror.

The moon said nothing. The moon pursued the fleeing sun, matching the star's speed to almost overtake it.

This entire exchange left the heroes completely alone in the void......

"That was......quite odd," Plague Knight commented, breaking the metaphorical silence. He checked the timer on his suit: 43:27. He raised his arm to show X.

Outer Space - What just happened

X flipped himself around and flared his boost systems to counteract his speed. "That was... something alright..."

The Reploid wasn't sure how to respond, he scanned the environment, hoping to find some way out of this. He wasn't going to just let anyone die on his watch but his dash boosters were heavily impractical, no inertial control on them.

It was at this point that he saw something, it looked to be a cluster of ship wreckage. Hope. He zoomed in and observed, spotting two barely functional shuttles damaged.

He motioned for the 3 holding onto him and pointed towards the wreckage as if to say "Shall we look over there?"

Entering the Grocery Store — In the wolf's mouth

The call came from Ben, who explained that he had been busy with other stuff to answer the phone before. He was aware of the hostage situation and had no idea what do to stop it. He also insulted Yael at the top of his lungs for trying to blow up the store.

"Ben, stop yelling. They are not listening on the cellphones. And they didn't hack the radio, they just have a bunch of walkie-talkies laying around" that was something to take into account, come to think of it "If you see the militia tell them to start using cellphones. They are way safer than an unprotected radio channel. What kind of nickname is 'Termite', anyway?"

Regardless, entering wasn't a problem anymore since Rex had taken care of that.

"And, by the way, I literally just opened a door to the station so, if you could come here right now, that would be great. Lune is here, too, but we could always use the extra help. I'm thinking about the blue speedster" he reached the chute and entered "Call you later, we are inside" he ended the call

Now, where to go? Charging blindly would just make things worse but not doing anything was an awful choice. Wait, a minute, all those cameras could be useful.

"The place has a lot of cameras, we could use them against the Ruckus"

Rex pressed his hand on the surface, accessing the feed of the cameras and trying to check if he could find the members of the Ruckus, but most importantly, the bomb.

Sneaking Inside Store

Just as Lune was about to enter the chute with Rex, Sans poofed onto the roof. What was he doing up here? Was he here to stop the hostage situation? Lune had no time to ponder these things, though. She was here to help Rex!

Lune entered the chute properly, and kept her helmet on as ordered by Rex. If she took it off for some stupid reason, she would probably suffocate to death. As a result, She waited for any further orders from Rex.

Gon led him to the airlock where the ship was docked.

The Judge - The Final Frontier - No Comment

...The Judge wasn't exactly sure what to make of what just happened. He watched the sun disappear in the distance silently. Now he was positive he was in a dream, or at least something similar. He watched the yellow dot shrink against the pitch black background, then realized he was moving again. He turned around and noticed the robot was currently floating towards what looked like a broken down spaceship—two of them, to be precise. The robot was motioning towards it questioningly, and the Judge answered that question by popping over his shoulder and nodding. He then had the sudden urge to lick his paw, which resulted in him bonking his helmet against his arm and rubbing his face against the glass in futility.

The library

"Right, sorry," Upgrade muttered. He nodded when Rex asked him to come. "I'll try. Let's see what I can do. Talk to you then. Bye." He then hung up and looked up at Miss Tairee. "Miss Tairee, you think you could help me get to the grocery store? I have a sneaking suspicion Rick ran off without us, and we don't really have a spaceship. I'd.... also need someone who can fly one of those things because I have a feeling I'm not gonna be able to stay in this form long enough to pilot it." At that exact moment, Sir Redring had come into the library. Ben pressed the button on his body and with a red flash he transformed back into his human form.

"Sir Redring!" He greeted. "We need your help, do you think you could aid me in my quest to save the hostages in the grocery store?"

Rick's Spaceship

"Open up!" shouted Rick into the ship's communicator. "Open up! Open up or- ah, you know what? F-fffURGHet it." Rick punched a few more buttons on the ship and sent the ship lumbering through the crowded fly-zone, swerving around a bizarre tubular craft, dinging a heavily-armed warship note  and nudging another weird, lumpy ship - this one covered in organic-looking orifices continually belching puffs of coloured gas - out of its place.

"Rick, i-i-is this really a good idea-" whatever Morty was about to say next was cut off when Rick jammed the helmet over his head, then affixed the same apparatus to his own suit.

There was a pause as Rick grabbed his gun off the shelf - then, after a moment's hesitation, grabbed the antimatter coagulator from the hold as well, jamming the weird glowing thing under his arm as he headed to the airlock - it was only a few more seconds before the pair clomped down on the roof of the building, catching a brief glimpse as Rex headed into the store himself.

Library

When Ben looked, he'd see that at some point a small cage with a bowl of food pellets and another bowl of water had appeared on Miss Tairee's desk, which she had just put the gerbil into. It happily and greedily started chomping into the pellets.

Sir Redring meanwhile was listening to the radio. "So based on what we've just heard, according to Ruckus' leader, two people have died so far in the grocery store. One was the anti-humans' leader" Jeff's voice was saying.

"For as much as that matters in the city" Adam's voice pointed out.

"Still fuckin' hurts, dude. Just because they come back doesn't make it right" Jeff's voice argued.

"Oh no, I definitely agree with you there. I'm just saying, in the grand scheme of things it could be a lot worse" Adam's voice responded.

After hearing Ben's question, Sir Redring perked up. "Goodness boy, I was starting to think you'd never ask! Let's show those uncouth ruffians what for!" Sir Redring yelled out exuberantly.

"Would you two please stop yelling?" Miss Tairee muttered.

"Ah, yes terribly sorry madam. Now, about that transport?" Sir Redring asked.

Miss Tairee was silent for a moment, then looked at them. "... Can either of you sail?" Miss Tairee asked.

"Sail..? I much prefer swimming on my own, but I know the basics" Sir Redring answered.

Miss Tairee nodded, then typed in a command on her computer. Outside one of the airlocks, some kind of small, single sail boat like you'd expect to see used as landing craft of old timey pirate era ships appeared, except the sail had a strange hexagonal pattern to it and glowed in the starlight, and there was an obvious rocket engine of some kind on the back end. "Then I'm sure you'll be able to figure that one out" Miss Tairee concluded with a satisfactory nod.

"Hmm, how odd... Well, no time like the present boy! Let's go!" Sir Redring said, moving towards the airlock quickly.

Grocery store, time's running out

Inside the shuttle with Cole, Fastanook gave a nod after Cole's direction and looked to the pilot. "I've got an idea" the pilot said, then flared the engine exhaust a few times to make it visibly flash on and off. The idea was that this might get San's and Caro's attention, since they were behind the shuttle relatively speaking.

Then the lady in the copilot chair noted Rex and Lune moving towards one side of the building. "Where are they going? Is that... A garbage chute?" the militia woman muttered.

"Doesn't matter, get your suits on because we're following them in!" Fastanook told them, quickly getting his own OSFA suit back on then shoving the one Cole took off towards him.

On the militia's channel, Wells' voice finally came in again. "Yael, listen to me. You don't have to do this; the librarian can make almost anything from thin air. Surely anything the demon can give you, she can too; if you bring that demon back people are going to get hurt for no reason!"

"It's too late for that! Don't try to fool me into thinking you'll let me go free! I have a loyalty to my god and his kin that I doubt you could understand. There will be no more talking" Yael's voice responded.

Looking through the waste disposal system, the first thing for Rex to note was where all the waste disposal system could take him. After a short airlock-style chamber, it went into a network of tunnels that spread throughout the building; unfortunately, most of these would be a tight squeeze. The ones to the bathrooms in particular were a no go; nowhere near large enough for people to get through. The ones to various trash bins could work but it'd take some effort to get through. There was one large, short tunnel though, leading to some kind of garbage dumpster in the back of the cargo unloading area.

As for the cameras and finding Ruckus, that went fairly quickly. Two were still hanging out close to the front airlocks, around the superfluous cash registers. Just beyond the cash registers was Yael in the open clearing he'd made, with a complete looking ritual circle now. Rex could even see he was holding a walkie talkie in one hand, and the brick of C4 in the other.

Two other Ruckus members were in the cargo unloading area, sabotaging the large door mechanisms. Jackson had found the smaller, rear airlock, and had just crammed a metal box into the inner door to force it open; sure enough the system locked down the outer door to keep it from opening, just like they'd done to the front airlocks. The last two Ruckus members had just broken their way into the critical systems room, and Rex could see one holding a walkie talkie.

Anyone who happened to be listening to channel 7 would then hear Yael give the order to cut the gravity. The Ruckus member with the cutting torch quickly turned it on an odd, spherical device with lots of warning labels around it. With a sudden lurch, the gravity shifted about 45 degrees and was lowered to half strength, then a moment later the gravity went away entirely, leaving everyone in the store freely floating.

Through the cameras, Rex could see Yael let go of the walkie talkie and take a cylindrical container off his back; inside was some kind of condensed gas that had shifting swirls of blue and purple colors. The cameras had no audio pickup, so Rex couldn't be sure what Yael was doing besides just floating there, but as time passed the container gradually started to glow brighter...

Other militia shuttle

"Um... Thank you? I hope it doesn't come to that" Thomas muttered, sounding a little confused, then went back to his book. Or at least was going to, until the latest exchange between Yael and Wells sounded off on the group's walkie talkies and got his attention.

"Well, I didn't expect that to work anyway, but now we know" Nails said, then looked to the pilot. "Time?" he asked.

"About one more minute. I don't want to bring us crashing into it. Now would be a good time to get your suits back on" the pilot responded, bringing the shuttle towards the grocery store quickly but gently.

Cole looked a little bewildered by...well, everything, even moreso than usual, catching the weird glass bowl as Fastanook pushed it to him. Apparently he was supposed to wear these ridiculous extra clothes again, even though he still didn't understand why and he still didn't understand why his feet wouldn't stay on the ground. Whatever this day was, it was miserable and he was ready for it to be done with. The city was simply not making any sense.

He managed to get the strange clothing to go on after observing how the others did it, though his face made it clear what he thought of it. He looked on worriedly, but moved to follow after the others regardless. "D-do you want me to come along as well...? I'm willing to do whatever you need me to do to help..."

Space - bad feelings all around

Sans noticed the flash of the shuttle so it seemed like that was the one he had to go in. He called Caro's number on his phone and as he waited for her to pick up, he teleported inside the militia shuttle. Once he got inside he saw that among the people in there, he could find Cole, well, he wasn't all that surprised by it. If Caro had answered the call by that point he'd put the call on speaker so she could hear things and give some input if necessary.

"tell me you people actually have a plan and aren't just rushing in blindly," he asked them, taking notice that they were seemingly about to leave.

Eve|Library

Eve continued to listen to the broadcast attentively. Two people had died, and they wee running out of time to do anything. This wasn't good. Briefly getting shaken out of her reverie by Sir Redring's exuberant shouting, she listened to Miss Tairee as she created the transport. It was a space sail ship. Eve had never sailed, but there was an engine there, and she might be able to interface with that to help speed the trip along.

When Sir F Redring moved towards the airlock, Eve joined him. There was one concerning thing about the craft, which was its lack of sealed space, which means they could only rely on the hour within the spacesuits, which could be a problem if they got lost. Since she needed to think about what to do when they got there though, she instead focused her intellect on that particular problem.

Asriel Dreemurr
Library, 2nd Floor

Asriel looked around with a big smile on his face. It was as large as he thought it was. Many shelves of books were across the floor. As they walked, he said to Viola,

"Yeah, I'm just looking," he said. "And I know."

Then he stopped at one of the shelves. He took out one of the books. It was apparently some sort of simplified operations guide to something called "Facebook". From the little blurb on the back, it was something similar to the Under Net back at home. Not too interested in that, he returned and started looking at the rest of the bookshelve when his eye caught something. He took the book from the shelve and looked a wistfully at it. It was a cookbook specialized in how to cook meals involving snails.

"Mom would've loved this," he said, clearly thinking out loud. He held it against him as he continued to look for something else interesting.

As he did, he then said, "So...what's it like back in your home?"

Space ship, near the store station

Sans laid out a fairly good plan, consisting of him going out to the outside of the store to try to be spotted by and meet up with someone, while she and Fried stayed inside the ship for, in order toconserve the suits' air supply. He teleported himself out before she could give him a response, but since she was about to agree anyway, she wasn't too bothered by it. Plus, with this whole horrible situation still going, they had no time to lose.

At some point, she noticed something was going with a ship a bit ahead of her own. The engines were rapidly turned on and off for a while, making looked like they were flashing. Was that some sort of signal? Was it to them or for someone else?

Then her phone started to ring and after pulling it out and seeing that it was Sans that was calling, she quickly answered the call. When she did, she heard the skeletonl talking to other people.

"Sans? Where are you? Who was it that you found there?" she readily asked

Talking about my home, now? Why, isn't he considerate. I also took note of how he seemed a bit homesick himself, but left it at that. "My home... I guess you can say that they're pretty normal, all things considered. Where I come from, we don't have any advanced technology or supernatural beings or magic or anything of the sort." That one was a partial lie, since I knew perfectly well how real magic is. But my town doesn't and 'Viola', if she were here, probably wouldn't want to share that particular unfortunate details to someone she just met, so I'm not really breaking out of my character. "Just me, my father and the townsfolk, minding our own business. Nothing out of the ordinary, really... But well, my definition of 'ordinary' might be different from yours, since we're both from different worlds, after all."

"I do miss my home, though. I can't wait to return there soon, once this is all over..." I spoke, trying to play him along my strings. Though... I admit that there is some truth to that sentiment, if only because I was deprived of a life I so longed for by the whims of an uninspired Author.

"What about you? What was your home like?" I turned around to him, smiling comfortingly.

Militia shuttle outside the grocery store

"Yes, everybody's coming along t- gwah!" Fastanook jumped slightly, or at least would have if he wasn't floating in zero gravity, when Sans suddenly appeared inside the shuttle, nearly clipping into the gremlin. "Clockworks' shifting gears man! You could've killed someone if you were a little off!" the gremlin chided Sans, then shook his head.

"Have you not been listening to the radio? We're out of time. We've gotta move now if we're gonna prevent a disaster, so we're following that guy in" Fastanook explained to Sans, pointing out the front window of the shuttle at Rex. "In fact we're so out of time, we can't stop to discuss it" the gremlin added, hitting the button to open the shuttle door and vent all the air out now that everyone inside had a suit on. (Save for Sans, who didn't need one.) Carefully moving out of the shuttle and keeping grip on it so they wouldn't just float off into space, the militia members made their way to get to where Rex and Lune were.

Leaving the library

Sir Redring was already putting one of the glass helmets on by the time Ben and Eve got into the airlock, and waited for them to do the same before opening the outer airlock. He easily hopped/climbed into the little ship on his own, moving to the back where the mast was attached to some machinery on top of the base of the rocket engine. There was a whole set of various buttons and some kind of joystick, which Sir Redring wasted no time in starting to investigate as Ben helped Eve on board. There was some lurching of the little ship as he experimented with a few things, combined with a thumping sputtering of the engine only audible in a sense through the vibrations of the ship.

The ship didn't have any real seatbelts per se, but there were these sort of zip cord things with a clasp on the end like dog leashes. Sir Redring made sure that Ben and Eve both had one tied around their waist and clasped back to itself, then did the same around the base of his helmet. After that, still with a little lurching and swaying that certainly didn't seem intentional, the ship silently zoomed off and away from the library. Using one tentacle to make sure his hat stayed on top of the glass helmet, Sir Redring scanned his eyes around, looking for any sign of the grocery store.

Sneaking Inside Grocery Store

While Rex was probably something really important for the duo, Rex and Lune began to float. Lune briefly blinked in surprise as the gravity in the area was being stolen by mysterious forces in the area. Were those accursed Rickus enacting their plan somehow?!

Lune activated her cellphone and made sure to use the cell phone function. The leader was probably keeping a tab on those who used walkie-talkies in the City. Gotta know what the other groups were planning before enacting a grand plan like this, right?

Cole didn't seem all that surprised when Sans abruptly appeared in the ship, merely moving back just a little to give the skeleton some room. He was more distracted with the sight of it when Fastanook opened the side of their ship, exposing them to that huge, empty nothing that was out there. And they were going out into it.

Cole felt that immediate urge to beg to not do this again, but...well, he had to admit it was entirely too late for that now.

He looked to Sans, waving a little awkwardly. "We could use your help to stop this, if...you can come with us," he said, unaware of whether or not his voice would or wouldn't travel. He then moved to the door of the ship behind the militia folks, watching how they were moving in this weird way that didn't have any ground. It seemed like as long as one kept hold of the side of the ship, it was easier to move.

This was probably the worst idea he'd seen anyone have since Sera had tried to put snakes in Vivienne's bedroom.

Taking a deep, shaky breath, he stepped out after Fastanook and his crew, clutching at the side of the ship as tightly as he could and inching after them, trying not to look as on the verge of a panic as he was.
