An XSEED Event a couple days ago announced that This game is coming west on to PC.

I haven't played this series before but after doing some research i'm looking forward to it.

As a fan in another forum put it the game play is like this:

In a nutshell, it plays like a slower-paced yet more strategic Ys game, but with a single enormous, 3D Metroidvania-esque interconnected world full of secrets that's INCREDIBLY fun to explore and absolutely dripping with atmosphere.

Though to most people it looks more like Diablo

For those that want to judge it for themselves (Videos are of the Japanese version(The boss video i think is using a fan translation patch):

Gameplay

The First Boss

The Town theme As a sample of the music.

I'm quite excited for this game and for more Falcom games in general (Still waiting for Trails in the Sky SC BTW)

Wow, I had no idea there ever was a sequel to Faxanadu! And now I learn there are two! (Tokyo Xanadu for the Vita scheduled for a 2017 release in the US, get hype.) Seeing the attention Falcom gives to one of their oldest series, one of the oldest ARPG series ever, is just fantastic. Definitely picking this one up, and I hope Tokyo Xanadu gets an EU release. smile I can't wait to see all the worldbuilding they're advertising and I'm sure the gameplay will be great as well.
