CoLC crossover RP, discussion

Well, I didn't get to go home early, so now I am finally here. I'm going to check on some things and then see about working on a post.

@All Hail Thrall: I'm not sure what sort of sling has a trigger, but, okay.

EDIT: Alright, I have stayed up later than I should have, and with that little post I'll be going for tonight. Tomorrow I should actually be able to be on for just a little bit before work once again, just like Monday. Somewhere to the tune of... Eight hours earlier than I was on today- well probably a little less. Tomorrow's work shift is scheduled to the same time as tonight's, so unless I get off early I'll probably be getting on around the same time after work. I'll also be doing laundry after work.

Okay, hopping in for a little bit before work. Just going to check up on some things and then see about making a quick post, then I'll be leaving for work. Should be back from work in the ballpark of seven and a half hours, unless I get off early.

Well, I am back now, though it looks like I haven't missed much today. I actually got off work about half an hour early, but I spent a good deal of that time trying to cook myself a meal. Anyway, I'm going to check on some things and then see about working on another post.

EDIT: Alright, figure I'll be calling it with that post, since I'll be leaving for tonight shortly. Tomorrow's shift is the same as today's, so tomorrow should be much the same, with me hopping on for a brief period before work. Granted I might not get off work early tomorrow, but I have a different plan for dinner tomorrow that won't take so long to make, plus I won't have to do laundry either.

Oh also, I've decided to remove the subplot section from the first discussion post, at least for now. It had become basically superfluous since I was being too lazy to keep it updated; perhaps later I will add it in again. In addition I've remembered now to put Riley in the militia's entry.

As yesterday, I expect to be back after work in the ballpark of seven and a half hours from now.

Alright, I am back, got off work a little early. I'd like to work on a post soon, though I'm having some trouble thinking of exactly what I want to post, so it might take a little while. In the meantime, I'll be checking on some other things.

EDIT: Well, with that little post I'll be heading out for tonight. Tomorrow, unfortunately, I do not expect to have time to be on before work. So it'll only be after work that I'm getting on, and the shift is scheduled to the same time as tonight's was, so I might be a bit later getting on if I can't get off early like I did tonight.

Alright, I am here and fully recapped. I got off work about 30 minutes early actually, but I got distracted with some other things after getting home. Once again I think it'll take me a while to think of what exactly I want to post, but I'll try to start on that once I check on some things.

Before that though, I have my schedule for next week: In general, it's a lot; someone just got fired for not showing up for her shifts, so they need other people covering more, which is leading to me working a lot more hours than I'm used to. It may be a very exhausting week for me; thankfully, there aren't any days where I won't be able to post at all. However there is going to be more of me not being on at all until late at night, like tonight.

As a reminder, I have tomorrow off; Monday is an extra long early shift though, so I'll have to go early tomorrow night. Tuesday I have off; I might try to go see a movie, haven't decided yet. Wednesday is a very long evening shift, and I don't think I'll have time to get on before work. Thursday is slightly better at just being a long evening shift, and I should have time to get on before work. Friday and Saturday are both exactly the same as Wednesday. Then next Sunday I have off too.

EDIT: Okay, and I'll be out of here for tonight. Since I have tomorrow off, I should be on much earlier than I was today, obviously. Should be in the ballpark of seven hours earlier, given when I intend to get up and that I'll be going on a walk before getting on. After making any necessary response post, I'll likely be going AFK for a while to work on putting together the new computer, finally. I don't intend to finish it tomorrow though.

Alright, and I'm here now; took me a while longer to get up and out of bed due to getting woken up earlier by my cat throwing up... Anyway, I'm going to check on some things and then see about working on a post, then after that I'll be going AFK for a while, I'm not sure how long yet.

EDIT: Okay, and with that post I'll be going for tonight. Tomorrow's shift isn't scheduled to end until a little earlier than I got on, so I'll be later getting on than I was today. In fact, if possible what I'd like to do is get off work a bit early and go get something done at a place before they close, so if that all goes as I'd like, it could be as much as a couple hours later than I got on today.

In my experience it's actually quite the opposite with band-aids.

Anyway, I'm finally here and recapped. I did indeed get to clock out about half an hour early, so I went out after taking a quick shower to get something else done, then also swung by a gas station on the way home to fill up the car, then I had to take care of a couple other things once I was home; so, kind of been a long day so far. Now however I get to relax; sometime later tonight I'll be doing a load of laundry, but I'm not going to worry about that just yet.

I'm going to check on some things, then see about working on a post. I don't think it should take me too long to type it up this time.

EDIT: Alright, with that little post I'll be calling it for tonight. Tomorrow I should be on earlier than today, but I can't be certain when. There's something I'm going to be doing tomorrow and I have to wait for someone else to get here. I may be getting on earlier while I wait for them to get here and go AFK when they do, or I may not be getting on at all until after it if they get here early enough. All I know is that I probably won't be getting on any earlier than about three hours earlier than I got on today.

Alright, I am here now and recapped. Bad news is that there still wasn't much progress made on the new computer yet, but good news is that someone else will be doing it for me tomorrow, so by the end of the week I should be able to be on the new comp, I think. Something else that's come up today is forcing me to get up earlier than I would like tomorrow, so I'll have to go earlier tonight than I was planning to as well; not a lot earlier though, thankfully.

Anyway, I'm going to check on some things and then work on a post.

EDIT: Alright, I need to get going for tonight. Tomorrow, unfortunately, I do not expect to have time to get on before work, so I probably won't be on until very late. Like, around six hours later than when I got on today late, unless I get lucky and get to clock out early.

Okay, finally on and recapped. And a somewhat belated happy Fourth of July to my fellow Americans!

Unfortunately I screwed up in forgetting that the place I wanted to contact would be closed today, because duh, so I once again need to go tonight a little earlier than I would've preferred. However in good news for today, my new computer is finally assembled, and functional! I am not on the new computer just yet, as I would like to take a day or two with it hooked up elsewhere to get Windows updates and stuff like that all done. As a reminder to all, once I do finally make the switch over, we will be abandoning Skype and changing over our outside of TV Tropes chatting to Discord; so everyone who wants to remain a part of that or finally get involved, it's about time to get ready.

Anyway, I'm going to check on some other things, and then see about working on a post.

EDIT: Okay, and now I'll have to go for tonight. So tomorrow I should be able to be on for a bit before work, hard to say when exactly but should be around eight hours earlier than I got on today. After work will probably be the same time as tonight. Sorry to say that tomorrow is going to be the only evening shift I can probably be getting on beforehand, with Friday and Saturday being the same as today most likely.

Argh, lost some time trying to deal with the new computer. It's working fine, it just seems to be having some trouble discovering the updates that it needs to do. I'll be messing with it more after work. Anyway, I will try my best to make a quick post before I have to go, to which end I won't be checking anything else so I can focus. I might just have to leave a section not yet responded to for now. If so, I am sorry.

I should be back from work in around seven hours.

Okay, I am here now and fully recapped. I actually got off work about half an hour early, but I decided to go ahead and do laundry and make myself something to eat and also mess around with the new computer a bit. Between the aforementioned laundry and checking on the new computer updating, I'm going to be somewhat distracted for a while still, but I'll try to start on a post after I check on some other things.

EDIT: Well, with that little post I'll be going for the night. Progress is being made with the new computer but unfortunately I'm seeing some minor red flags that could be indicative of bigger problems, and I'd like them sorted out before I commit to fully switching. So, I'll still be on this computer tomorrow, and worst case scenarios will be that the switch to the new computer gets delayed, again.

Anyway, I'd also like to add that I would like to see about getting the next day started sometime next week at the latest. Of course, I'd like to, but all this work has made me get next to no actual progress done on it. Still, I can probably get it pulled together by next week.

As for tomorrow, like I said before, I do not expect to have time to get on before work, so I probably won't be around until the super late after work time. Much like the time I got on tonight, though possibly even later, if I don't get out of work early tomorrow like I did tonight.

Here now and fully recapped. Good news, the red flags with the new computer seem to have been resolved after all, and to the best of my observation for now, it is fully functional and ready to go. Given my current real life schedule, I've decided to hold off doing to switch over until Sunday, as that should be a lot less of a hassle on me. Speaking of my schedule, I took a look at a schedule for next week, but they said it wasn't finished so I didn't copy it down just in case it changes. If it stays the same for me though, I'd say the most likely time for Day 23 to begin would be Wednesday or Thursday.

Anyway, as for now, I'm going to check on some things and then see about working on a post.

EDIT: Okay, with that tiny post I'll be going for tonight; I decided I'd rather not post for Gerard yet until there's a post for Rex, though I am sorry to Scorpio that that will mean a lot of extra waiting. Anyway, tomorrow will likely be much the same, though I should have a complete schedule for next week by then.

Alright, I am here and recapped. Once again, got off a bit early, just used that time to do some of the physical moving of the new computer ahead of time.

So, if all goes smoothly enough, this should be the last day I'm on this computer and the last day I'll be using Skype. For our initial switch to Discord, we will at least temporarily be using the server that Oceanstuck has set up; it may or may not become the permanent one, but it will be the one used until I get the new computer sorted out, and then we'll see. Also, as mentioned before, I have my schedule for next week:

Thankfully, a much easier week for me, with a better amount of time off. So tomorrow I have off of course, which is why I'll be doing the switch to the new computer then. Monday I have an extra long early shift, and I might try to go get something done right after work, but I'll more likely hold off until later in the week this time I think. Tuesday is an extra long evening shift; I probably won't be able to get on before work for that one. Wednesday is a long evening shift, and for that one I should have time to be on briefly before work. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I have off; I intend to probably go see the new Ant Man on Thursday along with getting that other thing done, but other than that I don't think I'll have anything in particular going on any of those days. Then finally next Sunday is a moderate early shift.

Okay, and as for now, I'm going to check on some other things, and see about starting on a post; I think it might take me a bit to type it though.

EDIT: Alright, in this instance I would definitely prefer to wait on a post from Deis so I'll go ahead and call it for the night. By the way people I did make an edit to my initial post though, for a bit towards Korodzik, if you happened to read it before I made that edit and didn't notice, I guess.

Anyway, as for tomorrow, I should definitely be around earlier than I was today, but it's hard to say when I'll actually be able to make a post. I have the day off and I'm not sleeping in, with my alarm set for about eight hours earlier than I got on today; however first I'll do some exercise and maybe get something else done too, then since my new computer has only done the windows updates part and nothing else yet, I still need to do stuff like getting Firefox and Discord and whatnot on it. Granted, getting enough done for me to be able to post really shouldn't take that long, but the real point is that my attention is going to be mainly on the computer stuff rather than on what the NPCs are going to be doing in the RP. Plus, I have to go early tomorrow due to Monday's shift, so it's probably not going to be a very productive day on the posting front. (Granted, it's Sunday, so I expect other people to not be doing as much posting as usual either since that seems to be the norm on this site.)

Okay, I am now on the new computer. Unfortunately, I had to actually downgrade to an older monitor, as the one I was using physically cannot plug into this new computer. I was planning on getting a newer monitor anyway, so it's not the biggest deal, but for now I am on a pretty lame monitor. I do intend to try to make at least one post today, though I won't be starting on it just yet; right now I'm dealing with laundry and of course still setting some stuff up with this computer. Next up I'm gonna try to get on Discord.

Alright, I am on the Discord, I need someone I can add and/or otherwise figure out how to get on the temporary server.

EDIT: Okay, Discord has been set up and I even got a link that should go to the new arrival channel in the discussion OP. As for me now, I should get going for tonight. Tomorrow I will probably be a bit later getting on; work ends around an hour when I got on today so normally I would be on around the same time, but I intend to head over to a Bestbuy or something to see about getting a new monitor first. So, I'm not sure how much later that will make me be, but I expect something like an hour, hour and a half extra, maybe.

Things with the new computer are moving about as smoothly as I hoped; I just still need to get stuff like steam and battle.net reinstalled and my games.

Alright, I am finally, finally, here and fully recapped. Stuff today ended up taking more time than I expected, and I also did a little bit of resting and went ahead and got making a meal out of the way too given how late it ended up being. I now have a new and much better monitor; it is pretty great, also a bit bright though. I'm actually switching to night vision on TV Tropes at least in the meantime. I don't have a lot to directly respond to, but I'll see about starting on a post after I check on Discord.

Nevermind, found the brightness setting on the monitor and fixed it.

Oh right, new post because I forgot to mention, there's been a change to my work schedule this week. One of my coworkers wanted to switch shifts with me so she could go to her mom's surprise birthday party; instead of the shift I had on Wednesday, I now have the same shift, but on Thursday. Because of this I intend to go get stuff done and try to see Ant Man on Wednesday now instead of Thursday. Good thing I hadn't bought my ticket yet... Other than that, there shouldn't really be any change.

EDIT: Alright, and with that post and me staying up a bit later than I intended to tonight, I need to get going. As mentioned before, unfortunately I do not expect to be able to get on before work tomorrow, so I'm not going to be online until pretty darn late. Probably around two and a half hours later than I got on today late.

I have the rules for Day 23 mostly finished; just need to tweak a few things I forgot about.
