My vice president in our college's game development RSO has been encouraging Twine as a means to get people more interested in the club's activities and essentially to give them something to do since there are so few people at the moment with experience in any of our larger engines (Unreal/Unity). I've checked it out as well, it's fairly interesting, though I've yet to get into it as far as my right hand man.
