Last I heard was that the 7th volume was out. I need to check.
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Volume 8 is already out as of 9/25. It's not unofficially compiled yet on the net.

"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"The police kinda suck in this series don't they?
Don't know if that particular scene is a shoutout to how serious Japanese suicide rates are.
Anyway, the episode seems to showcase human drama. That isn't a bad thing per se.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"You mean her kind side. She was very nice this episode. This episode removed any impression that she is indifferent towards other people suffering.
This case was quite the contrast compared to the previous one. While last week episode pertinent a horrible, senseless murder and was generally dark, this one ended on much more positive, upbeat note, even though there was still death involved.
We also gets an explanation about who Soutaro was, and it explains a lot of what Sakurako did in the previous episode - the speech she gave to the baby boy about not leaving his sister, the fear she had about Shoutaro getting himself killed etc. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that she revealed it as easily as this, it's nice to see that she won't be making a big secret out of it for no reason.
Good episode, and one that shows that the cases won't be all cut out from the same cloth but will be varied in the solution and tone.
Creepy as in she was calm in explaining the food chain to Shotaro after they saw the corpse, which made the hikers runs.
I don't know if I should laugh at that for black comedy reasons.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Well that's just how the food chain works, nothing creepy about it.
Well, between their total lack of forensics and that one guy totally missing a obvious crazy junkie slowly moving in his direction, I have to say you have a point.

A little clumsy, but a nice personal story to connect the three.
Sakurako cares in her own special way.
@shlugo
- Yeah I know. It's just that the two hikers running away after that is what made the scene funny IMO.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"They were like "She's way too happy while talking about dead, rotting bodies."
I guess not all people can appreciate the charm.
True that.
Guess the page needs to be updated.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"What I liked about the third episode was that for all the kid's bragging that he was Sakurako's guardian, it was still her who was able to comfort his grieving classmate even before she showed her just how her grandmother died and how it wasn't for the reasons she thought it was.
He kind of leaves me wondering why he's even in the story.
He talks big but it's obvious that he's just her sidekick. Sakurako is way smarter and competent than he is, and she's the one that calls the shots.
To be fair, he was quite handy in the second episode, but very much a Watson to her Holmes.
Shoutaro comment was really rude when you think about it. Sakurako is peculiar, but she's a fully functioning adult, not fucking Rain Man, she doesn't need a guardian. If she smacked him on the head for that, it would be justified.
What are you talking about the twenty years or so of her life before she met him obviously don't count.
It's not like he does much of guarding right now, unless getting in the way of her hobbies and whining about food counts.
Don't you understand? It's very important to keep people away from things they want. Otherwise they might be happy.
Not happy people! They are the worst!
Don't take human bones home.
I wish he'd complement her better. She already has a care taker while he mooches food lol
That husband is bad news. Real shady moment there.
Oh, so that's the doge in OP. Guess they'll be taking it home.
So Shoutaro lost his father young. I guess this case resonates with him on personal level.
That's a weird request there. What was she supposed to do beyond telling him curses don't exist? He didn't give her a lot to work with. How annoying for her to get dragged into something again.
That is a gloomy looking house.
Hell watchdog, huh? Terrifying. It seems to like Sakurako though.
Must Shoutaro blush at the smallest bit of exposed skin? Wait, he's sixteen so I guess he does.
This is such a bizarre case, I honestly don't know what to make of it. It's obviously not a curse but what else could it be? And what does the painting has to do with it? And what is Hiroki's friend actually scheming? He looked kind of sinister there for a moment.
I think might not be as they seem.
Very interesting episode, and I'm kind of glad we are getting a two parter. Gives more time to build up mystery and we have something to ponder till next week.

I'm going to go with serial arsenic poisoning. There was mention of the art appraiser being associated with many of the recent relatives that died, there have been historical cases of people being poisoned by arsenic in paints (specifically green paint and the painting was said to be of a forest), and most importantly if you look closely at his fingernails in the last scene you can see what may be faint leukonychia.
You aren't getting more than thirteen episodes unless this sells very well, so it doesn't really matter.
