Also, just how much emphasis do we want to put on the "survival game" side of this? I already Hand Wave'd a few things, because I personally don't really want to go there, but I shoulda consulted more with you guys instead of just writing "canon", especially since I'm not even the GM... and now I realize, if we don't, where's the conflict gonna come from? Or is this gonna be more focussed on social clubbing than conflict?
Either way, the power of bullshit can swing things either way... if we don't want a survival game, we can make the shopping centre supplies respawn or something... if we do, the power and water could fail any time now...

I dunno. I'm down with anything. I think having occasional trips to find food and whatnot, particularly if plot stuff starts happening, will be conducive to gameplay, but too much and it will drag the game down.

Well I would vote for at least a little bit of survival in case you didn't notice by my posts, same as above I kinda don't see what we're gonna do else, though if the rest is against it I'll stop.
My approach would be: Build base - check, getting food and stuff - check, do other stuff and maybe get some food again or maintain base once in a while

I don't think there's anyone home right now, but you can pretty much say that you're anywhere within a relatively short distance of there, since there's a whole bunch of supplies and whatnot to gather. So you could probably be wherever you want doing whatever you want, within reason.
