Man, that entire middle part of that episode was the embodiment of Cringe Comedy, it was great.

And Stella found someone who's as much of a fitness junkie as she is, they'll be best friends her and Renren.

Episode 9 was entertaining. The part in the lodge was amusing and sweet and the same time and the Student Council seem more interesting and entertaining than their introduction in the previous arc implied. The President herself has a very nice introduction as well.

Great episode. The focus is finally back where it matters - on the best couple.

Badminton between people with magic powers can get intense.

So the prize for having the best win streaks is helping to clean up the resort? At least there wasn't much to do and they got time for themselves.

Stella conveniently got sick the first time in her life just as they went on a trip.

I loved that lodge scene. It was both hilarious and sweet. Ikki getting a boner was hilarious but he managed to stay a perfect gentleman nevertheless.

So Ikki realize that he must be on his best behavior if he wants Stella family to approve of him. It's a sticky situation since she's a royalty, so if he dosen't prove himself to them, things could get complicated.

I wonder what random asshat is targeting them now. Probably someone connected to his family, they all seem to be jerks.

Student council is more fun than it seemed previously, and I hope the President kicks Shizuk ass.

Episode 9. In which Stella runs the entire length of the energetic spectrum.

"Alone." Never ends up that way.

A friendly match of... well, let's call it badminton. Seems what they're pretending it is.

Two of them are more perceptive than the third.

Okay, that is actually one way things typicall do end up alone.

Didn't even react at that forehead thing. Kind of nice.

They're a little bit awkward. Although she's more clumsy than awkward. It also seems to focus more on how he perceives the situation than just providing some fanservice for the audience. You can say what you want about the stereotypical situation, but I found it very well directed. Much more focus on who they are than what it looks like.

Conspicuous CG is conspicuous.

And then Naru enters the scene.

Nice effect with the letterboxing.

It remains fascinating to see how refreshingly realistic this series is about sex and sexual attraction compared to how it's normally shown in this type of show. Not having Ikki get hopelessly flustered when stripping Stella, but still having a reaction to it is great; not using the scene as an excuse for fan service is even better.

Liked the student council as well, for once this is a council nor pointlessly antagonistic to the main characters.

Ikki's dad looks about twelve though.

I never did like the conceit that's the same as Mahouka. But whatever.

Weird after all this time hyping Ikki, he gets gangbanged by lame CG golems. Prez had a nice intro at least. I kind of hope she's not attracted to Ikki since there's no point in teasing that when there's already a hook up that's thirsty as fuck.

Yeah, I don't like Shizuku's odds if my Pokemon power levels have told me anything. But then again, hopefully the show will make it good.

I love how frank Stella was about having sex too. Wasn't even shy about what she wants lol.

Amazing, girls can be horny too! Who knew?

Also props for giving Ikki an actual boner instead of nosebleed. This show aims for realism.

Damn if Ikki isnt right on the ball bout their relationship. Stella's a princess right? So having her virginity lost to some random commoner especially a very low class one would prolly spark an international issue.

There's also a manner of personal integrity. Remember, chivalry is very important to Ikki and he wants to do his relationship properly.

Yeah I recall this funny joke in Amazing World of Gumball involving Bobert, long story short he made a comment that Japan has more pets than children, totally slayed me cause of how outta no where it was.

Ikki's doing things right. Meet the parents first & all that very responsible & very honorable. He really respects Stella.

To be honest, I find that a rather creepy attitude, seeing your lover as the property of her parents and all that, but it does make sense both for who Stella is and how ikki was raised.

You prolly wouldnt bang a princess without her parents permission considering they can most likely hire an assassin on you after all if they find out you violated their daughter.

Gotta keep her pure or else hardcore otaku will riot.

Sometimes I want to include, "also, had sex," in the backstory of any character just because that's what those people deserve.

Just caught up with this show.

The first two episodes were average, but even since then it has continually impressed me.

The Stella/Ikki dynamic is a strong-point of this show. I really love the frankness of their relationship and how they've been working though it.

I also liked the Sword Eater conclusion a lot. Ikki seems to be showing Blood Knight-lite tendency's.

I thought Ikki's poor showing against the golems made perfect sense. His powers are very poorly suited to fighting against rock based summons that have regen.

Episode 10. Holy crap that battle was awesome (although having to read the subtitles during such a fast paced battle was a bit of a pain). We get to see Shizuku's full power and she is finally beginning to warm up to Stella as well. Lightning president is also very cool.
