I don't think the first game's DLCs are really worth it; the mechanics are just too limited to justify repeating the same chores on different maps. I'll jump straight into the sequel, in hopes that its improvements lead to a more long-lasting gameplay experience.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence. To be fair, literally any dodge mechanic at all is an upgrade to Left 4 Dead.
I haven't really paid attention - does the sequel had anything of relevance to the game or it's basically just more of the same?
Because while the game is cute, it gets old.
It adds in a new setting, new enemies, and new equipment I'd say.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I'm really just saying I friggin' hate fruitlessly backstepping away from the DPS-check that are Tanks
In terms of new gameplay, harder to say. Little has been mentioned on true changes to the nitty-gritty itself (like, I dunno, making you only capable of blocking in front of you), though I recall an interview that I can't place saying there would be a little bit, at least QoL stuff. If you found it got old, only thing I can recall mentioned potentially alleviating that would be the "Heroic Deeds" system which are like the contracts with especially distinct stipulations to the level, like a map of only minibosses.
New mechanics. Each character now has a number of subclasses with specific combat styles as well as perks/skills, such as being able to aggro enemies, become invisible for a short period, etc. The loot system apparently also has been overhauled. While that sounds like it might overcomplicate things a bit, it certainly has potential to add some much-needed tactical depth, esp. for single players.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Looking forward big time. I hope the new enemies aren't just simple replacements for the ones from the previous game. A wider offering of available enemy variety is much needed.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Definitely. Having all-new Chaos units is all well and good but I'd like some new Skaven units too.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Stoked for the Stormfiend in particular. I mean, it's basically the Skaven version of a Mancubus, so it has to be bazungolf. Right?

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence. Is the website just putting up new enemies, or all of the ones we'll see? Because it may move more away from doing a Left 4 Dead in Warhammer Fantasy after the first one was such a success.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.The added mechanics (esp. perk system) and new enemy types are more reminiscent of stuff from the Killing Floor games, rather than L4D.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence. So yeah, it seems like now they're branching out since they've made a name for themselves.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Devblog on classes mostly of Bardin, not too much aside from confirming that the Slayer class will be melee-only.
Ugh, I wish we could learn more about the other classes.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.It's almost a week and it's news, a double post is fine.
CHAOS MARAUDERS! (I'm sorry, I enjoy Total Warhammer too much)
They have a bile troll. (Also Rat Ogre but you already knew that)
They're really upping the ante this time around. Now let's hope they also step up their optimisation game significantly.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.I recall an early claim from them that it indeed would be better optimized. We will have to see.
Sienna's BBQ's open for burniness!
Apparently, her classes are divided into a "Burn Everything" Battle Wizard, "Burn That One Fucker Really Hot" Pyromancer, and a "Hit And Burn" Unchained. The sanity of the aforementioned classes seem to go from most to least.
PC Gamer revealed a bit about Saltzpyre's classes, the unexpected one now apparently being a "Zealot" using flails and prayer.
Additionally, there's a big patch along with the Death of the Reik DLC being released.
So one last DLC before everyone moves on to Helmgart, eh?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.What do you mean?
One last DLC for the original Vermintide, then we go to Helmgart for the sequel.

I liked the Rat Ogre a lot better than the Tank solely because I could dodge it. I don't think I've ever intentionally dodged that giant son of a bitch's rocks even once.
