Moonbeam City

New series on Comedy Central after South Park. It seems to fill the void Archer left, and with talents like Rob Lowe and Elizabeth Banks voicing the cast, we can already tell it's going to have its fans. You can watch the first episode here or when it airs. Your thoughts?

I like it so far. Dazzle certainly has an air of Archer-like incompetence that's funny to laugh at.

Agree. This show is pretty much Archer set in an 80s like cop show. Just like how the Awesomes is Archer set in a super hero world. Hope there is an adult animation show out there that is Archer set to Power Ranger, that would be fun.

Your not missing much, its basically Archer but its trying to use its good art style to make up for the fact its premise has been done a MILLION times before.

There's not much new to it. It's literally Archer with every 80s cliche you can think of, played off for laughs.

At the same time, I sort of like it. It's artstyle is amazing, and there's something about the macho hothead loose canon attitude of the world that I really admire, and I think it could really make it a better show if it started to focus more on those elements rather than just being an 80s cop show parody version of Archer.

I couldn't finish watching it. I dont think I'm going to miss much of it since the main character is very unlikable.

I think there will be an arc where we learn more about his former partner Razzle.

I'd be damned if character development even happens, I just feel like the main character is flat, and lifeless like a zombie.

His appearance does look like that of said zombie. Just curious, but why did 80's retro art all have the people Ghost white? Was it just the thing to do?

As incompetent as Dazzle is, I just do not like Rad. He's just as much of a dick as Barry in Archer.

I can not begin to describe how absolutely gorgeous this cartoon is. It's the most beautiful thing ever made!

It's also gut-bustingly funny! Moonbeam City is without a doubt one of the best things on television right now!

The latest episode was actually very creepy to me. And it might have been Dazzle's first time solving a case so serious.

This show... it's beautiful. I haven't been this turned on by a show's visuals since Gankutsuou. So hot.

And yeah, I've discovered Archer a couple of weeks ago, and what the fuck is wrong with me, why am I enjoying that piece of garbage? I don't even laugh, but I can't tear my eyes away, waiting for what the fuck kind of atrocity these people would do next.
