"Batman V Superman" EP Calls "Sexuality" Part Of Wonder Woman's Power
Kinda nervous about that line regarding sexuality but the 5000 year thing is interesting as it would make her older than even Greek civilization.
It would make her born around the time Troy was founded IIRC my ancient history and myths. The gods were probably still active around that time.
With the whole "sexuality" thing, tt depends on how they execute it. And there's nothing that prevents the Amazons from being older than the ancient Greeks. They could have just encountered them later on, and the Gods are probably far older still.
Wonder Woman will open the same weekend as Transformers 5.
It doesn't matter about quality of the franchise but the last one made over 1.1 billion.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureWell shit.....
Moving it to Mother's Day would be great.
I don't know, Transformers could bomb.
...shit, why would they do that though? Just move it to some three day weekend where there's nothing else. Hell, look at Deadpool - all it had in competition was How to Be Single and Zoolander 2. Do something like that!
Wonder Woman had the date for two years already.
Paramount just announced the Transformers date.
Hopefully many people love Gal Gadot's performance as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman so they can't wait to see her movie.
Edit* WB isn't afraid to move dates. They moved Batman v Superman twice from Summer 2015 to May 6, 2016 to March 25, 2016.
They moved Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One from December 2017 to March 30, 2018.
They moved the Flash from March 23, 2018 to March 16, 2018.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI feel like there FINALLY even being a Wonder Woman movie at all, could quite possibly help in this regard alone.
So how do you guys think the Amazons will be depicted in this or future films?
New set photos from Wonder Woman.
It looks like Lucy Davis is playing Etta Candy.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureWow, I did not recognize Lucy Davis at all.
Yes her physical transformation (and the make up/costuming) is quite impressive.
You just know there are going to be some know-nothings who are going to say that Wonder Woman's ripping off Captain America, with a hero who operated during one of the World Wars now operating in the present. That's just how internet haters think....
Haters on the internet will complain no matter what you do, and with genre fanbases tending to be as polarized as they are in general, it's next to impossible to please everyone. So just make the movie that you think is best, and then let things play out as they may, that's probably your best bet if you're a writer/filmmaker.
And really if the only thing that the two films have in common ends up being a World War (not even the same World War even) setting, and then the heroes end up in the present (although I seriously doubt that Diana will end up frozen in a block of ice for 100 years, she winds up in the present the old-fashioned way, she doesn't really age much), then that's the most nitpicky/stretching of the word "rehash" that one could possibly come up with.

They don't seem to learn either. I think most people who were complaining about Batfleck don't realize the exact same thing happened with Michael Keaton beforehand, and then when the movie came out he proved to everyone he could do it.
I feel like a lot of people will hate on DC no matter what, so they might as well just make what they think the best artistic decisions for their films are and see what comes of it.

It's hardly unique to comic book fandom either. If you're a Star Wars fan, like me, for example, then you're having to endure this same tedious cycle, and have been for years now.
