The trick is that she's a teenager. And is totally going to steal their Materia.

i like yuffie and i totally want an avatar of her being punched in the face
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."I've averaged one laugh an episode, which is a large step up from season 1. Think I'll keep watching.
Yuffie is amusingly annoying, but her introductory scene is fucking hilarious. The way she initiates her "surprise attack" by sliding her portrait into the party (followed by the surprised and bewildered expressions of everyone else) was chortle-worthy as it was, but then everything to do with Tifa punching her in the face in the middle of her introduction was incredible.
@Tobias
Advent Children Complete apparently wanted to explain that iittle orphan boy Danzel or Denzel or whatever his name was. Basically, why is Cloud so mopey and depressed and shit in the movie? Because he went off to try and cure that kid's magic cancer but he failed and now that boy will die and that's sad. The extended version expands on all that or something.
Also changed the final fight between Cloud and Sephiroth and, really, that was the point of the movie.
Anyway, I haven't watched this series since the first episode. Just no real interest. Maybe I'll check it out. I am a huge FFVII fan.
Now I can't help but think that Dolphin Blow will save everyone's ass at some point and Tifa will fell extremely vindicated.
I heard Cloud was mopey because he'd caught a terminal illness that also directly affected his psyche because Jenova is pretty much literally genetically composed of raw evil.
but HOW?Yuffie is amazing and I love to hate her.
When I was a kid, I used to adore Yuffie. She was my favorite character and I was sad that she wasn't one of the two "kinda sorta love interest" characters because she was awesome and I have always been a shipper.
As I've gotten older, I've grown to respect Tifa more, and Yuffie's become less endearing. Appropriately so, I'd say; she's a hyper-energetic teenager, which is mostly appealing to people who can also claim membership of that particular demographic.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.You can go out on a date with Yuffie at the Gold Saucer and it's pretty good. She's the only one who kisses Cloud.
I used to be a huge Tifa fan but as I've grown older I've come to prefer Aerith.

It's both. Cloud and Tifa adopt Denzel, who has been infected with a mysterious new disease, Geostigma. Cloud sets out to find out what it is and how to cure it. Eventually Cloud himself gets the disease as well, and between that and his failure to make any progress towards curing it falls into depression. Then the events of the film take place. I forget the exact details, but IIRC the disease is Sephiroth/Jenova-Lifestream fuckery (which serves as the mechanism for his resurrection). During the climactic fight Cloud gets a pep talk/closure/therapy from Zack's ForceLifestream Ghost, which gets him over his funk, then he unleashes the mother of all Omnislashes and uses the purified Lifestream to baptizecure everyone.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheySo, yeah, Cloud and the orphans had evil magic cancer and it made Cloud sad.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThat's not a bad reason to be sad.
Bit of an awkward one to write, though.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.it is a pretty reasonable reason to be depressed especially when you feel guilty about other things on top of that failure to cure orphan boy and having life stream cancer yourself.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaIt's weird they're hunting down Sephiroth to prove Cloud's innocence, since Cloud is probably also wanted for terrorism anyway.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. That is weird now that you mention it.
Avalanche is an anti-Shinra terror cell, and Shinra just dropped a sector of the city on top of another sector of the city. If Shinra wants to blame Avalanche for assassinating their own President, f*cking own that shit. That's how terrorism works!
- Barrett: Shinra committed a grievous act against this city, so we totally 100% broke into their headquarters and murdered their boss. Yep. Even President Shinra isn't safe from us, so maybe y'all want to think about that. Avalanche out.
It's like if the President of the U.S. was murdered and someone was all like, "It was ISIS. We're totally sure it was ISIS. No need to investigate further because ISIS absolutely did it."
ISIS didn't do it, but you know they'd jump on that in a heartbeat. "Yep, we killed him. President of the U.S. taken down by us. We're so awesome."

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.That's exactly it, Avalanche doesn't want to become like ISIS.
When Avalanche claims responsibility for something, you can be confident they damn well did it.
That could be a joke after meteor is summoned. They get cleared for the presidents murder but sentenced to execution for the other acts of terrorism they did do.
Steam. It's the same HD upscaled version of the game currently also available on PS4 (no, not the upcoming remake; it's also available on iOS and Android), and it fixed some outstanding bugs from the PS1 version (most notably the armor magic defense bug). And it's moddable, if you like mods.

FFVII has a thriving mod community. If you have any interest at all in gameplay or graphic tweaks, I recommend checking out this forum.

I can tell you now, I've only been playing with FFVII mods since 2010 and things are a lot simpler now than they used to be. I have nothing but respect for the pioneers who were figuring out this shit before even that. They must have been even more lost than I was.
So I figured out why this parody resonates with me so much. There's shades of Eight Bit Theater in Team Four Star's FFVII. A lot of the comedy is drawn from a similar place; the cast consists of a group of shitty people, with many of the jokes organically emerging from the inherently funny premise of those shitty people proceeding to be hilariously shitty to one another.
TFS is very talented at crafting nuanced, interesting, but morally ambiguous characters and that is on full display here. Everyone is f*cked up, and comedy occurs when their f*ck-ups overlap each other.

There has to be some trick to Yuffie. No one would make a character that annoying on purpose for no reason.
