I was going to have Yuuji contest it at first, but considering everyone else agreed she'd pretty much have no choice but to agree as well.

Well I don't see a problem with it if she really wants to be contrary. Some intergroup dissent might be cool to play out.

Yeah, but I also don't want Yuuji coming over as completely whiney and thinking everything's a bad idea. She, so far, seems to be the only one disagreeing with all these plans.

Serling wasn't in control here. In fact he isn't even real- he was put there to confuse and frustrate the heroes. His presence also wonderfully sets up the introduction of (reserved for later.)

I am waiting to see if anybody else was trying to help Jeremy eg. Damien's idea. If nobody does by this evening I'll just say he caught up and move the story along.

The Zanti are chasing Jeremy but they are slower and honestly, they cannot hurt him unless they swarm over him, he's too big and tough. And there's nothing else on the town he can find. He can easily escape; he just needs to finds the rest of the group. He can see Felix's lightshow, or just decide to exit the town the way they came in, that works too.

Btw, I'm surprised nobody voiced any suspicions about Lufia earlier.

Damien is five feet from Lufia. His prosthetics are fried, so he is physically incapable of moving himself. His Titan caller is also fried, so he can't call in backup.

Even if he could use his limbs, his weapons are dead, as are his helmet (so no vision and no audio). In short; he is 100% helpless and sitting directly next to a literal Goddess of Death who has every reason to walk over and decapitate him, provided his body armor deflects an impalement attempt.

An electromagnetic pulse is not temporary. An electromagnetic pulse - like the lightning bolt delivered - will kill all of your electronics.

I'm not worried about getting his stuff fixed. That'll come, provided he survives - and someone needs to pull a miracle, or he won't.

In any case, I'm going to give the others a chance to react too. afterwards, if no one has been able too draw her attention, I'll have Alicia summon someone to help.
