Alec closed the double doors again once Serenity had stepped through, reactivating the hologram. He made a gesture as if swiping the translucent image of the compound toward the robot, immediately sending the details and background of the operation and bringing her up to speed.

"Yeah, deniability is key here, which is why I unfortunately can't join you - I'm a little too well-known and recognizable." Fell seemed awkward, as if uncertain how he should address the drone, "So... Serenity, do you have any thoughts on the mission as it stands right now? I had honestly given up hope of you making it, so I didn't include you in the plan. I'm thinking you could join Mr. Chun as part of the backup team, keep the enemy's heads down once you've secured Zaivous."

"That sounds like the best option yes, while this particular platform is very effective in combat, it is also very noticeable, attempting to join in on the extraction myself would probably cause more issues then it would be worth" ,she replied in her electronic but still feminine voice.

"Alright then. If everyone's clear, let's take this to the armory."

Fell lead the squad back out and down the hall to another room in the agency sublevel. The armory wasn't particularly large, but the small space had been well-used; rifles, shotguns, pistols, machineguns, vibro-knives, and body armor densely lined the walls. Several laser weapons were among them, their focusing lenses gleaming. Cases of varrying sizes of ammo and weapon batteries were neatly lined up along charging shelves, as well as dozens of grenades. In the corner, the squat quadruped gun drone Malware had been tested on lay dorment. Locked within a cage toward the back there were some unusual items, including a six-barreled gatling gun that looked like it belonged on top of a tank, as well as what could only be described as a weaponized chainsaw, its considerable length painted forest green.

"Welcome, Mr. Fell," said a disembodied voice as they entered.

"Hey, Clerk. These guys are with me," he replied automatically. "Everybody new to this, you're taking body armor - no arguments. We've got a while before go-time, so if you've never fired a gun before and think you'll be needing one, I can take you over to the range. Mr. Chun, you might want to supplement your launcher with something a little more precise. Actually, come to think of it, we should also have a few teargas grenades in here somewhere. The helmets come standard with a filter, so you should be fine if anyone uses gas."

Liam frowned. Anyone who's never fired a gun before would be better off not bringing one on the mission. It wasn't good sending untrained agents into the field armed up like that. "We don't want to risk any fatal accidents, stun gun and baton should be good enough for the rookies."

That said, he went over to the weapon racks to pick up his two weapons of choice - the FN F2000 and Five-seveN - and ammunition. Due to the mission parameters, he grabbed two teargas grenades in order to have some non-lethal crowd control options on-hand, as well as a MED should the need arise.

"Yeah, stun rounds and dazzle settings only for the newbies, of course," Fell nodded. "They're the same weapons otherwise."

She raises her hand, looking back at Fell. "...Can I use the range? Its been long time since I last used one.", glancing over at a small, dinky pistol. A Makarov pistol.

Ahh the candy story.

Sarah always liked getting into an armory. There's something about a great selection of equipment that is just quite lovely. Thus the seemingly normal looking lady in the neat suit approaches the selection, catching sight of her favorite choices neatly arranged before her... of course, the others didn't know it but some of her personal weapons, with the exception of two pieces, were to be displayed on this room.

Filled with certainty, she moves to grab a Stormbolt Rifle and two Hummingbird pistols as well as some ammo for the former and extra battery packs for the later. They didn't have much intel on what they would find inside... but she had the impression that incendiary, hollow point and armor penetrating rounds would cover the basics. The Hummingbirds would serve if the enemy had energy shields. Then some grenades... smokescreens and flash-bangs as well as two concussive "Sir, I have my own armour as well as some... specialty gear for the mission. I'll be using those if there's no problem. Will have my people do a delivery" she says with a smile and her usual, rich English accent. Of course, those well within Stygian Enterprises... but for now she was acting the part of an independent hire.

What else she needed... her Hummingbirds had a nice stun function, so she doubted she needed to carry a taser gun as an extra.

Eyeing the gatling gun, Bai was sorely tempted for a brief moment to grab it and bring it along. Reason, however, reared its ugly head and told him that there was no reason to possibly bring it for an extraction mission. Someday, he though to himself. Someday.

He instead turned his way to a rather old-looking gun, which he was able to identify as the Pancor Jackhammer. He hefted its considerable weight with a little trouble and looked it over a bit more. "Mr. Fell," he said as he looked up in his direction, "if this is a non-lethal mission, I trust you have bean-bag rounds? Many of them?" A glint to his right caught his attention, and he spotted a much more modern looking rocket launcher. "...I forgot to ask, but I trust we won't be facing armored opposition tonight?"

Liam nodded as Anastya, Sarah, and Mr. Chun grabbed their gear. "Pretty good synthskin job on the arms there," he said to Sarah. "I still can't see anything out of the ordinary on them."

"Hmm? What gave them away?" Sarah says with a little smile, looking down at her own arms covered by the sleeves of the suit "Though yes, these are a lovely cover for the tech hidden within"

"Fell did most of the work earlier when he said he couldn't send you and the girl in incognito," Forlorn said. "The only reasons you've got for packing two pistols are that you're a rookie with no brains, or you've got something extra under your skin there. And you don't strike me as a rookie. So what is it, full conversion..." he flexed his left arm and rolled up the sleeve, the metal plates visible. "Or augmentation?" He pulled slightly on his right sleeve, revealing a patch of skin.

Vespa took a suit of the body armour off the shelf, struggling a bit as she negotiated it around her right arm. Taking a few grenades and slinging a rather hefty combat shotgun over her shoulder, she simultaneously spoke to Fell as she suited up.

"Fell, I've good recording equipment and a few, ahem, toys of my own that I'd like to bring along, you care if I make a pass to grab my own loadout before I hit your private stores?"

She grabbed one knife, strapping it to her breastplate on her left side, and thought for a second before deciding against a second one.

"Oh, no, you're allowed to go fully lethal, Mr. Chun; I trust your years of training taught you which way to point a gun, and the guys you're up against don't look like they're concerned about killing. It's just Miss Mirivac and the Kid I'm worried about; their skills lie elsewhere. As far as enemy armor goes - god I hope not. But they did manage to get their hands on AL-SEC trucks, so having Serenity along definitely eases my mind," he eyed the robotic ronin.

"And uh, that gun's locked up for a reason," Fell said, noticing Mr. Chun's interest, "Custom job - its owner would probably kill me if I let someone else use it. I'll see about requisitioning some bigger ordnance if this goes well, but if you think you might need a second kind of launcher now, go for it."

To Bell and Vespa he said, "Anyone who's got their own gear stashed somewhere, please go grab it. I didn't hire you only to keep your assets from you. If I'd known this was going to have to happen tonight I'd have made sure you came already-equipped, sorry."

"And sure, Miss Mirivac, it's right down the hall, next door over. Clerk'll get you started. But don't forget about equipping your combat drone, too."

Fell made his way uncertainly over to the the former Fujin robot as everyone rummaged through the equipment, "Serenity, can I speak to you for a moment?"

Vespa gave a quick nod and made a quick exit.

She arrived back a few minutes later, two Landsknecht pistols strapped to either leg, while she worked on making sure a camera was securely fastened to her shoulder.

Oddly, while she had one of Stygian's own vibro knives on her, the small of her back was occupied by a rather nasty-looking, albeit normal, combat knife. Any observer would have immediately known it was an older Krepost model, but it was hardly anything special.

Nodding in Fell's direction as he walked off, Bai kept himself calm and collected as essentially the entire armory was open to him. It was sobering noting that he couldn't possibly need even a tenth of what he saw, so he opted to keep it simple.

Mr. Chun was nowhere near as strong as his armored self, so he ended up bringing a handcart to carry the armament available to him. The aforementioned Jackhammer, the gaudy-looking XM31 OICW (normally too cumbersome to be of any use, when directly linked to a armor's HUD systems it provided a great deal more useful), and a large selection of both lethal and non-lethal grenade rounds compatible with the QLZ89. He and his cargo waited by the lift, looking over his companions and noting what they would be carrying with them.

Anastya knew that unlike her drones or anyone else here, her actual combat training does not exist beyond 'run and hide'. Target shooting in university does not count. Hence, she reasoned- she would be better off with something she might be familiar with. The Rook pistol, manufactured in the Old Country and used by her armed force. Pride of the Moscow University target shooting club. Which-She picked up, and goes to Clerk to clear up any administration issue.

"[I...Want to use this one.", she inquired.

"Sure, what do you wish to discuss? Is it a mater we should go elsewhere for?", Serenity asked, a bit disinterested in all the weaponry at the moment any way.

In the shooting range, the disembodied voice of Clerk responded, "Very good, Miss Mirivac. I have made 9mm Makarov ammunition and safety equipment ready for you in Stall 1." Sure enough, she would find it already neatly layed out on the small counter by some means, with a paper target a short distance down the range.

Fell took Serenity out into the hall, "Do you understand the mission you're about to undertake? The ideologies involved, the potential consequences of failure? I need to know you're not just blindly following orders - I think I might already have one of those on the squad as it is."

She nodded, putting on the goggle, and the earphone first. "Spacibo, Mr. Clerk.", taking the pistol, checking if its loaded and pointing it downrange, zeroing on the target. Whereupon, she flicked the safety off, squeezing a trigger off.

A few shots flew with resounding echo down the range, hitting the target papers-

Dead center. A few went off to the sides and up and above it, but it hit center mass. Good enough for her—Those time in the University's target shooting club was worth it. "<Excellent shot as always, Young Miss. Perhaps, should you consider getting off robotics, you may consider entering competitions.>", the phone in her pocket piped.

"<I know, I know Jeeves...but-shooting a person is not the same, isn't it?>", she replied back sighing and mentally counting back the ammunition. "<...Of course not, Young Miss.>", came the voice again.

"Yes, a sect of humans is attempting to freeze the cogs in the engine of progress, due to what I can only assume is religious preferences... I do not fully understand the concept of religion, due to its attempts to answer questions that I already know the answers for when it relates to myself, but I do realize that failure would likely only benefit there ideologies in the long run" Serenity says with a long pause. "I really need to acquire better translation software...."

Vespa made her way over to the range, hoisting the shotgun on one shoulder as she walked over.

"Clerk, could I get a stall, please?"

It really hadn't been all that long since she had been in a op, but it was always, always better to have a little warm up before a mission. Besides, why just sit around when there was some fun to be had?

…They have a known AI. They have another known AI. They have an already known AI…

Malware's processors were acting up – or at least, that's what he thought was happening to him. Right now, all he could think about was how this detail ruined his whole plan. How was he to know that they thought he was human? Did they just let him in to humor him? Did this Serenity program have any way of seeing that he was a robot? Oh, crap, did they realize the reason behind his wearing Star Specs?

…Don't overload the CPU, Malware, he finally thought to himself, taking a (false) deep breath in and out. If they were sure you were a bot, Fell wouldn't be calling you Kid. Kid's a name used for young humans, maybe goats, but not robots. Now, go and grab some weapons.

Malware walked up and grabbed two vibrating blades and a small stun gun. He wasn't going to be in the thick of things, so there was no pressing concern to defend himself, but like the humans said, it was better to be safe than sorry.

"Jesus Christ!" Forlorn said, getting up and rapidly stepping over to Vespa. He used his iron hand to cover the front of her shotgun, and the other to grab at it in order to make the barrel face upwards. "Kid, rule number one of gun safety, don't bindlestick it. Hold it like it's always loaded. You could blow someone's head off holding it like that."
