Holy shit. 100% destructible environment. No exceptions. AND that goes for multiplayer, too.

Can someone PLEASE fix the embed?!

Hands-on preview by US Gamer.

Crackdown 3’s most interesting feature is a dynamic AI system called “Gangs Bite Back” which makes enemy behavior unpredictable. One of the main problems of the early Crackdown games is how quickly overpowered your character becomes, practically flatlining any difficulty. With Gangs Bite Back, Sumo hopes to keep players occupied as they grow stronger.

Kind of surprised this thread hasn't gotten more love. Then again the last example of the game didn't do to hot.

So far so good this game has been looking better than the last venture into the world of crackdown.

I have heard some rumblings about how the destructible environment maybe limited or handled even in multi-player. Apparently there is some question as to if it is limited to non-co-op MP or it will be in Co-op MP as well.

Anyone have any solid info on this?

Either way I am still good for the game.

[up] there was a comment somewhere... here you go:

And I think it has something to do with the fact the physics engine needs the online component to share all the calculations. However, i'm worried about that whole missed packet thing, where in one person's game the object goes left and in another it goes right.

I am still going to get this one though - looks amazingly good fun.

Me too. Thanks for the link.

Ok so for sure in MP death match but other MP modes is kind of up in the air because there is no info on them.

Either way i am down for it.

Crackdown 3 is delayed til 2018.

That's fine — it'd rather wait.

I was somewhat expecting this to happen. Which is fine. I was going to put this one off until next year.

No joke. I am wondering if they partly delayed so they don't have to compete as intensely with all the games coming out at once.
