idk, i just ignore his books and go look at other more informative/less incorrect things. not like there's a shortage of art instruction.
how is any of his art incorrect though?
well if you google it, you can find criticisms of his art pretty easily.
basically any remotely useful info in his books can be found in other sources, and it's mixed in with a lot of very poor draftsmanship and just outright falsehoods (breasts are not muscles). actually the most significant thing is that all the best artwork in his books isn't even from him but from better artists he hires because he can't draw.
when you have a lot of FREE knowledge and diagrams available from extremely skilled, trained professionals like bryan lee, kevin chen◊, charles hu◊, rad sechrist◊, istebrak not to mention all the good paid stuff from those people AND others like glen vilppu and steve huston you have no real need for a hack like chris hart.
in general, "how to draw" books are just not very good resources for beginning artists; at most the better ones can serve as good reference for a given subject provided the drawings are good enough, but that's not really what they're advertised as.

Thank you so much for those resources!
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.you're welcome. it took me a long time to find all that stuff on my own so i'm happy to share (:
I knew it, he didn't draw the images. Well it is kind of noticeable on how the style differs with each drawing.
Do you also get that weird suspicion from how mostly his "manga/anime guides" contain a dangerous amount of heteronormative shipping?
