Good for a conversation starter.
It works pending other suggestions.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"So... No opposition?
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youNot a fan because of the strong Signs of Disrepair connotation.
While that bit of the episode was hilarious, as an illustration I think it's... decent. It works, but I feel like we should explore some other possibilities.
Reaction Image RepositoryI agree. In fact, I think the OP suggestion is better in that page than the current image there, because I can't figure out what the original sign was supposed to say (for all we know, it was meant to say "hell").
It's a Shell gas station. I'm not sure what the European equivalent is (parent company's Royal Dutch Shell if that helps narrow it down any), but they're commonplace as heck in North America.
Moon◊Going to agree with it being too similar to the other trope.
Shell is common enough here in Sweden.
Check out my fanfiction!I like the OP.
Clock is set.
I think the OP would work better in Design Compromise.
Is that based on information from the show? I don't see it at all.

That only shows half of the trope. This is about a plan that should be simple ended up being a disaster.
I see. This◊ is the best one I could find for the aftermath.

If we can't find anything else, + would work for me.
I think so. I don't get a wow-feeling about it, but it's okay. Not sure which is better.
Check out my fanfiction!18.1 looks great!
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI like 18.1. As stated, the OP might be better than the current on Design Compromise, though I'm not sure if the Signs of Disrepair would be included in that trope.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"+1 for 18.1
I think it goes without saying, but 18.1 gets my

Bump; any other votes for/against 18.1?
18.1 is fine.
(Annoyed grunt)
Do you like? Admit it, you like it.
Basically this image seems to illustrate the trope pretty well, and it was really funny when it aired, so I thought suggesting it here might be a good way to introduce it.
