Would linking to a show or a Fan Sub of something on Youtube be allowed or would it violate the same rules as linking to, say, a manga scanlation?

I'm confused about this because of the open nature of Youtube itself. Were it on any other site, I'd immediately perish the thought without question, without compromise, but since it's not on a different site, that makes things kind of blurry.

Given that we officially ban links to scanlations, I'd say the best option is to play it safe and not link it, under the same principle.

"Official" links are OK. Fan subs and the like should be avoided on the wiki, partly because they tend to get taken down frequently.

Okay, just making sure. Thank you.
