Hi there. I'm a currently inactive, though formerly super active troper. I used to contribute tons of music-related articles, as that subject is my forte. I'm also one of the admins of the Lost Media Wiki.
Over the last 7 months, I've been working on a music review show called 2Beats+ that's currently on its 13th episode. A friend of mine kept recommending to me to share the series on here, but I didn't know if that's kosher with TV Tropes, since you guys have a "no advertising" policy. But, I figured if it's in poor taste it'll get removed, so I hope you guys don't mind me sharing this with you. I figured the series is filled with mentioning of tropes, so why not? (Even if the tropes aren't directly mentioned by name)
Now, there's also a second series that I make based off of Lost Media (i.e. music, film, etc) that's made in conjunction with The Lost Media Wiki. That one is more educational and less comical in nature.
Two of my episodes were already removed from You Tube thanks to Warner Music Group, with my most recent one looking like it's gonna go the way of the dodo as well. Another thing to note is that I used to have a different co-host than the one that I currently have. The episode where Jordan announces his departure from the series was one of the removed episodes. So, there's a few inconsistencies in the overall structure of the series thanks to that.
(Warning: Some Episodes contain a lot of swearing.)
Episode 11 - Norah Jones - Jun 15, 2015 (First episode with Trey; original version of Episode was pulled due to a copyright claim from Universal Music Group, but a simple edit changed that)
Episode 12 - Savage Garden - Jun 21, 2015 (Original version was pulled due to a copyright claim from Sony Music Entertainment, once again a simple edit fixed that. Original version was also posted the day composer James Horner passed away, and contained a joke that made fun of one of the songs he composed. Joke was removed to maintain good taste in light of the recent death)
