I second this merge.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAlways thought that Big Little Brother was more about the personality of the little bro, like he was more adult than the older sibling. I guess not.
Well, a Trope Talk discussion I have with Wyldchyld touches upon that, but that sort of definition is not supported by the description and examples listed as-is in the Big Little Brother page.
"Younger sibling being more accomplished and/or mature than the older" can probably work as its own trope, but it probably needs a different name that isn't pretty much a synonym to this trope.

Big Little Brother says that they also MAY be more mature, but it's not a requirement. That said, I think the younger sibling being more mature is a valid sister trope to this one, but needs it's own YKTTW and doesn't really affect this merge.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickMerge, please.
Bumping, because this seems such a simple issue and should have been resolved pretty quickly.
Make up a crowner and I shall link it.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe difference is just which sibling the trope focuses on, but it's still the same trope.
The other trope name should be kept as a redirect, though.
Check out my fanfiction!Yes, the other name should be a redirect.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickMy vote makes it 17-0. We can call this one, yes?
Yep. Merge these two and make one the redirect of the other.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI've done my best to merge the descriptions and examples. I think most of the wicks for Little Big Brother will have to stay right where they are, since we aren't supposed to pothole entries in trope lists.
I think that's fine. Wicking to the redirect title isn't really against the policy isn't it?
That being said, I think we're done?
Actually, we generally don't want to link to the redirect of a merged/renamed trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanReally? Because people often wick to the redirect if the title is more appropriate to the entry. If the example focuses on the younger sibling, I don't see the problem with using it instead of the main title. The definitions were exactly the same to begin with any way, so it's not like using the old name is going to cause much confusion about the trope.
Bumping so this can stay open.

Crown Description:
Trope definition is exactly the same as Big Little Brother.
The trope is said to be a "twin" to Big Little Brother, and by that it seemed to mean that they are both the exact same tropes. Both pages is basically defined as "Younger sibling is larger than their older sibling", and almost all the examples overlap (although Big Little Brother is more thriving as a page).
I checked the YKTTW discussion of Little Big Brother, and it is launched with only 1 hat and a total of 3 posts, with no acknowledgement of the other trope.
Proposing for the two pages to be merged.
