"We be we baby!"Okay, so honestly this really interests me. For my roster, lots of the characters wouldn't actually be from video games, just characters from fiction in general. Just thought I'd add a twist. Also, more than one per franchise, but I won't overdo it. Anyway...
My theme is obscure, minor or otherwise unexpected characters. That's pretty much it.
Boiler (Robopon 2)
Dr. Synn (Dr. Synn novels)
Blackbeard (Blackbeard's Ghost)
Edmond Dantès (the Count of Monte Cristo - he'd appear in-game as the Count)
Gutsman's Ass (Mega Man meme - he'd rely on a lot of teleporting moves)
Mr. Gum (Mr. Gum books)
The Sun (Super Mario Bros. 3 - maybe not that obscure, but there you go)
James Bond (from the original Ian Fleming novels - not the films. They're surprisingly different characters)
Chin (Hong Kong '97 - he's Bruce Lee's cousin...?)
CATS (Zero Wing)
Johnny (Robopon Sun)
Zain (Mega Man Xtreme)
Lub Lub (whoisthisgit's You Tube channel - he'd be an unlockable Easter Egg for 100% file completion and all endings viewed)
16-Bit Block (Gojuko Parodius)
Rimmer (Red Dwarf)
War MECH (Final Fantasy - he'd be DLC)
Duckroll (4chan)
Bad EGG (various Pokémon games)
Bond Man (Mega Man - scrapped from development)
William Shakespeare (Real Life - he'd attack, taunt etc. by materialising his various characters)
Michael Rosen (You Tube)
Hercule Poirot (Poirot novels by Agatha Christie)
The League of Super Evil (League of Super Evil - yes, all of them in one character)
Don Orville (Third Rock from the Sun)
Cutsman (Captain N - The Game Master)
The Announcer (Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS)
Frank (Don't Hug Me I'm Scared)
Ghast (Killswitch)
There would probably be more, but I need to sleep.
I'd of course main CATS :3 and Parodius too? Bad EGG of all things? yes very nice
