Akagami no Shirayukihime (Red-haired Snow White)

Two episodes in, and I must say that this is a nice show with another cool red-haired heroine. What say you?

Another nice episode, in which Shirayuki shows a stubborn noble what's up!

As for Obi... Hm... That headband. Feline-like movements. Cat-like eyes at times... Wow, he reminds me of Ranulf! Hehe, he's gonna be fun.

I really adore this show, because Shirayuki is amazing.

She's smart, resourceful, kind of stubborn...like, she's a total badass, but not in an over-the-top wish fulfillment way. She's just a smart young woman who can use her skills.

That line, the one line that matters the most this last episode, gave me shivers, such good voice acting and resolution.

I kinda feel like the big happening at the end of this episode wasn't really... hm, perhaps wasn't warranted. This isn't the first time Shirayuki has declared her intentions to help Zen or the first time she's done it in his hearing, either. My guess is that he was feeling emotional on the topic of being constrained by propriety and rank due to memories of Atri.

Don't get me wrong, I love it. =) I'm just also glad that going off of the preview, this is just A Kiss, not The Big Kiss.

3 episode in, I think this is one of my favorite shoujo, Shiroyuki's got some real guts. The show needs a better name though.

ZOMG, I LOVE Akagami no Shirayuki-Hime! The manga had been on my radar for a while, but I never got to read it despite its interesting premise. The anime pulled me in, and after seeing the first season, I adore it! It's even on my top favorites list! Shirayuki FTW!

Just finished the first season yesterday. This is an amazingly lovely series, pretty to look at and pretty to listen to.

I'm especially impressed by how much we get to see of Shirayuki's job as an herbalist. I don't know whether the author of the manga has any actual knowledge of the field, but they've come up with some pretty neat, plausible scenarios where Shirayuki's skills and knowledge prove useful. I really dig that.

This series makes me so happy~

I also like the development of Shirayuki's skills as an herbalist - it really feels like something she would devote her life to. "If I can learn something today that I did not know yesterday..."

Yes, the loveliness of this series is not to be underestimated... such good, lovely characters and what a soothing, nice story!
