Saturday's episode is the last episode. Though I've been hearing that there's supposed to be a Refrain/Clannad: After Story for the series so maybe that'll be a separate anime to air later/released only on the BDs later? Assuming that's true of course.

This episode really needed to be spread over a few more, I think. It's condensing a hell of a lot into one episode, there. Seeing Yu slowly descend into madness would've made a good few episodes, I think. Also, how long exactly did it take him to travel the entire world? Kind of a bittersweet ending, though leaning towards the happier side of the spectrum, which is nice.

Overall, absolutely great. I think I still prefer Angel Beatsl, but definitely worth the watch.

Well, that really needed to be split among a few more episodes

Series overall: Well animated and had potential, but the constant plot shifts and contrived shit necessary for the plot to shift ended up turing it into a mess. Would not recommend

This anime left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. It starts out with lots of potential, then kind of...sputtered and died.

My main issue with the series is how random it was, several unnecessary plot twists and general lack of direction. It was okay until they introduced the multiple timelines and time travel just to save Ayumi. Then the thing went out of control and the last few episodes feel like an entirely different story. The ending was INCREDIBLY rushed.

This show is great because it is such a Maeda meme

Does it make sense to acknowledge that this is honestly a not good show yet still entertaining? Because holy shit, that final episode was just grand with Yu going crazy.

Yu's Bizarre Adventure is the perfect end to this nonsense show.

It needed a lot more episodes.

This is a bigger journey than the entire anime to this point, with the possible exception of all Yuu's brother's time leaps which also could probably be their own anime.

Oh yeah, and not healing his eye was dumb and seems more plot-relevant than a the kind of choice a character who already time leaped for exactly that reason would make.

I think this really needed two cours. Probably end off the first with Ayumi's rescue, freeing up about 2 to 3 episodes for character development, and using the second cour for the showdown against those two random guys who had Kumagami tortured + the whole travelling round the world thing. And maybe some extra stuff.

Agreed. One episode was just not enough to carry out Yuu's goal effectively.

Some issues I had:

His cross-continental adventure was a bit haphazard. Like, couldn't he have taken all the abilities on one continent, then move on to another? Instead of hopping and skipping all over the Greenwich Meridian, which may have contributed to his deteriorating health?

Yuu deciding to not use powers for his own benefit was nice and all, but it lacked impact thanks to that stupid "powers are bad" angle. Wonder if that Peruvian girl's gonna be alright...

Yuu forgot Nao, but did he also forget about everyone else? I suppose he did, after what happened in Cuba. He could've gotten a new phone and contacted Shun if he remembered him...

Despite the awkward world traveling, I did enjoy that Yuu visited some countries you normally wouldn't see in anime, some of the acquired powers were neato, and his second breakdown was just as great as his first(tongue).

Hm, Sala must've visited Nao's brother after all. But what was her reason for visiting, since Yuu wasn't around? And it looks like Ayumi's good friends with Yusa now. Wonder how they met...

Uh-huh. Charlotte started out well, but as time passed, the show lost its way.

Yeah, it was still good enough, but you can tell they rushed and or packed things too much at times. It really would have benefited from a longer run, maybe not standard 24, something around 20.

[up]x3 Maybe Yu told Tomori about that off-screen, so she knew exactly where to be when Sala showed up. And also so she knows it'll work.
