Same reason why people who otherwise don't care about the potential Unfortunate Implications don't like Soleil. It's like, whatever they call Flanderization when a character has a single character trait that they won't shut up about, except they were always that way to begin with. So unless you find that particular trait appealing, they end up being really fucking annoying.

I noticed that Hoshido retainers are all from noble backgrounds or families that have served the Hoshido royal family while Nohr retainers are lower class with one exception on both sides. Asama for Hoshido and Pieri for Nohr.

[up] Probably better fits into the themes of Birthright (on the Hoshido side: Many of the royal retainers on the Hoshido side are loyal and attentive to their lords due to being born into a family that historically serve them or otherwise have a right to serve them) and Loyalty (on the Nohr side: None of the royal retainers have a right to be with the royal they royal in question, but the royals handpicked them, or in some cases were commanded to accept them, and the retainers remain loyal and willing to die for their lords, even if they didn't have a history with any of them).

Also, the more I read up on Conquest's story, the more I'm convinced that Anankos actually dies when the party kills possessed!Takumi.

So that leaves him plenty of chances to wreck things on Hoshido.

I have a feeling that might be future DLC.

Well, it's kind of like:

The Invisible Kingdom soldiers are basically spirits of dead soldiers enslaved by Anankos, taking a physical form reminiscent of their appearance in life. This holds true for Shenmei, Sumeragi, and Mikoto on the Invisible Kingdom route. Garon is different from these in that it's his body, not his spirit, that's being manipulated, on the grounds that his body was made into a familiar instead of Anankos just using his spirit. This lets him appear normal until something drives his true nature forward (Throne of Hoshido, Anankos overwriting the familiar's memories (or rather Garon's memories) and goal with his own and so forth).

Now, let's look at the ones we know for sure that Anankos possessed outright: Gunther and Takumi. They both get the ominous glow of the Invisible Soldiers, but we know that unlike them, Gunther's body is actually used. Furthermore, if we look at their skills, and the skills of other notable IK soldiers, we find that only Anankos, Gunther, Takumi, and Garon all have Dragonskin amongst their skillsets. Everyone else does not, including the other royals.

Notice how three out of the four mentioned have confirmed as having their bodies, while the others (Sumeragi, Shemei, Mikoto) are normal IK soldiers? Basically, Dragonskin was likely bestowed upon Gunther, Takumi, and Garon since they actually have bodies. Additionally, Dragonskin also indicates units completely, or almost completely, possessed by Anankos (Gunther and Takumi) or altered in some way by him (Garon, by becoming a familiar), likely because Dragonskin is linked to Anankos in the same way that it was linked to Grima and choice servants of Grima in Awakening, DLC not-withstanding.

As such, it's likely that the Takumi fought in the end of Conquest is essentially Anankos using the last possible pawn he has left to desperately achieve his goal. Additionally, as stated by Aqua, Takumi in Conquest is much more violent and driven by hateful actions compared to how he usually is. This is of course because of Anankos's influence, and shows us how he works converting units to become servants under his command. It's also increasingly likely that this method is how he managed to kill Garon and turn him into his familiar. When Garon was threatening punishment to the Avatar by whip or starvation as seen in Gunther's Conquest supports, Garon is, like Takumi, being influenced by Anankos. At some point, Anankos likely forces Garon to kill himself so that Anankos gets to make a familiar out of him. It's the same with Takumi: In Chapter 23, Anankos finally gets enough control to make Takumi commit suicide by jumping off the fortress he's fought at and presto: A body and the memories that Takumi had, and which he gets to possess and implement his will through.

Because Garon is killed before Anankos!Takumi reappears in Conquest, it's likely that Anankos doesn't get the power he gave him back. Another interpretation is that if Garon did indeed inherit a lot of dragon blood, Anankos doesn't get to snack on what essentially would provide him with a boost powerful enough to get him much closer to the all-powerful dragon he once was. At this point, it's do or die for him, so he attacks the party as Takumi, using the remnants of his power combined with Takumi's skills with a bow, being occasionally able to charge up a light wave attack, having a clone of Takumi aid him (which might possibly BE Takumi's spirit or his own depending on how you see it), and having corrupted Takumi's bow of choice into Skadi, and subsequently gets wrecked and killed.

Now, why would a (former) all-powerful dragon stay and fight rather than get back to his body in the Invisible Kingdom and lick his wounds? Simple: He can't. There's a reason he only waited until the party were almost at the Invisible Palace's throne room to outright make Gunther do an action that could potentially blow his cover, because in the off-chance that something happens, his spirit can easily make his way into his dormant body and stay alive. Anankos's heart (AKA Good!Anankos) as a manifestation of Anankos's remaining goodness (and who was basically a spirit) was heavily implied to be slowly dying, and while he returned to Anankos upon his death, there's an implication there that as long as a dragon is in a spirit form, their lives can be claimed by time (see: Rainbow Sage). Given how much power he's using already (maintaining Invisible Kingdom soldiers and having his familiar), he's closer to actually dying off than he normally would. Possessing a human body can likely stave off or even completely halt it which is why he tries this on Takumi and Gunther in the first place.

As for why Anankos would bother to do this if it can potentially end his plans early? Well, he is bat-fucking-shit insane and has already done things that was ultimately detrimental to his goal. He doesn't have the ability to make sane, rational decisions anymore.

Technically Hydra isn't exerting much power because he possesses them when they get into IK, where he's at his most powerful.

The whole disappearing thing I took was a sign of him overusing his powers that could fundamentally alter a very planet and being separate from his original self. I actually do think the original could survive in his current state. Rainbow Sage on the other hand got stuck in his current state and couldn't escape, so he grew old which still took thousands of years.

[up] That is a good point. That said, Good!Anankos dying because of power overuse can also be the case for Anankos as well: the Rainbow Sage died because he used the last of his power to upgrade Kamui's Yatogami (as he otherwise would've lived a bit longer). Anankos likely suffered the same limitations when he finally (temporarily) left his body to possess Takumi/Gunther. Given how Takumi and Gunther when Anankos possesses them is able to do some of the same feats as, or feats equal to, Slime!Garon, Anankos may well have used his powers a bit too much when possessing Takumi on top of needing to use the IK soldiers and create pools of water to be able to quickly summon reinforcements in the final Conquest battle as well. There's also Aqua's song on that route which affects him as well, which could have further weakened him to the point where his spirit won't last the battle against Takumi.

I hope we got more DLC content so it can expand on stuff from the game. I'm not a fan of it, but if it helps explains more details about the history of the deceased characters then that's not a bad thing.

Also don't go to gamefaqs's page on Fates just don't.

Especially when done by an organization or person in a position of authority, such as a corporation or government, or a high-level manager within such an organization (the latter generally being seen as less proper than the former).

An example of legal and compensated appropriation would be eminent domain, whereby the government can unilaterally acquire a person or organization's land in exchange for fair market value.

An example of legal and uncompensated appropriation would be adverse possession, whereby someone legally acquires someone else's land (well, usually land) though extended de facto use without any attempt to either formalize the use or stop the use by the owner.

An example of illegal appropriation would be a hedge fund manager skimming the top.

Also, there are other definitions, such as setting things aside or legislating them (often funds) for a purpose

Season 2 DLC maps are starting now.

One based on Radiant Dawn (Featuring Elincia protect mission) gets Vanguard, one on Gaiden (Gets Witch), one on Shadow Dragon (Get Ballistician), and one called Anna's Fight that gets you Witch or Ballistician only once based on the map from Awakening.

The chapters that get you Witch and Ballistician also feature a large number of them as enemies on that same map.

Ludveck of all things is apparently the toughest boss amongst the four.
