Oh shit! They actually released footage of the show? Finally! Now I can finally stop telling people to reserve their judgement!

Well at least they are using some of the classic villains in that show. That quells my fear of them not being based on the game; plus digging their redesigns. And the animation looks pretty good up to this point. Sadly this is not an actual trailer but just snippets of things Film Roman have made or is making, so I can't judge on dialogue.

Also funny with the Ben 10 comparison seeing how Mega Man copy abilities is somewhat similar to Ben's omnitrix ability to change into alien heroes (which we all know rip offs Dial H for Hero . . . I forgot, can the main character in that comic turn into Plastic Man cause that makes his watch more superior than Ben's . . . than again Ben can turn into any aliens so chances are he can become a Kryptonian . . . than again Krypton was destroyed and I don't think Azmuth even to any DNA from that pla . . . you get the point).

Normally I am a Garfield man, so I don't really care much for Heathcliff. But I have to say, that redesign sure is weird.

Except that show was, you know, actually pretty ok. This is looking to be a steaming pile of garbage.

I literally heard "Meganize ME!!" and dumped the page fast enough to implode the earth's atmosphere. No. Nope. Not happening.

Can't be worse a catchphrase as 'Good morning'.

They could have gone with Mega merge if they wanted to give him a transformation phrase.

...Can he die in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite? They run into this version and Hulk smash?

trailer was meh but the character design was pretty cool. shame, too, since i feel like it's combing certain mega-man show ideas. not in a way i hoped but meh.

seriously, i can't hate it. i just don't a crap anymore. maybe i have low standards or i rarely hate a show unless it shows it's crap, but i can't bring myself to hate on it. but i agree, it might not be good. man of action as of late has been getting crapper since the beginning. the only 3 good shows they made, was the old Ben 10, generator rex, and (dare i say) guardians of the galaxy in some cases.

I realize it looks kinda bad at the moment, but I'm going to wait until I see part of an episode before I bring down judgement.

If it's bad, then I'll slam it.

You know, its not impossible to do classic Mega Man well. Just look at the Archie comics. They were pretty great.

different strokes, different folks, but i kinda prefer the later designs of mega-man a bit more. my fav was mega-man x and the one in smash bros.

i guess i like busy but still simple designs in my opinion. (why am i a minority in everything)

I really like the Smash Bros design, actually. X is also one of my favorite characters, period. I don't like this design, however.

The primary blue is too dark to be that broken up. The neon breaks everything up too much.

A number of the choices made here just seem so unnecessary and more or less distracting in ways I'm having a hard time articulating.

unpopular opinion, is relatablity that important? you don't need megaman to be the this young, hip brospesh for people connect with. he needs redeeming qualities (which he lacks). and, i kinda see it.

and for the outfit decision, hate to be harsh, but less is not more (especially with the skimpier variant). i like things that go on with a outfit without it ending up being a cluttered mess of belts, piping and gods knows what. don't get me wrong, i love simple designs, when they look good. but there's times where it might not work. does not mean I'm defending the decision? no. i can see you thoughts on a design standpoint. drawing the same detailed, convoluted outfit can be tiring which baffles my mind as to how people can get it right in many angles. granted, this is in 3d so it less of problem. still a problem but less so.

which is funny considering the outfit from earlier leaks was much worse in my opinion. like the dark blue didn't do it in for me. thank god they made it bit better. maybe i think it's due to me being a mostly nostalgia free and growing up with megaman x (and other incarnations) that i never felt that way. i just never got bothered by it. the classic in my humblest opinion (and please don't kill me), never did much for me. no wonder i preferred the ones like megaman 8's and smash's. they just seem to make it tick for me.

I'm sorry if you feel as though I'm trying to oust your opinion. This is just something I can't really get behind. I want to, though. I really do. That's the hard part. I did grow up with Mega Man. I remember playing it with my cousin every weekend. We went through most of the games, barring five and seven, before we were ever exposed to Mega Man X. Trust me when I say I loved Mega Man X. It felt like the natural evolution of the games. Everything was just bigger and better. I also fully embraced the transition to Legends and Zero. Zero still stands as my favorite art style for the series, bar none. So please don't think I don't appreciate those looks. I do.

I just don't see X in this, and really, I shouldn't. This isn't X. This is supposed to be Rock. It isn't though and that saddens me, because I probably never will get Rock in animated form.
