I propose to ilustrate this one with the last two panels from here◊. It's the Futurama comic book. Fry wants to send an e-mail to Earth, but he was about to press the anti-asteroid missile launcher. The trope says "A guy who just doesn't have the sense of responsibility or the ability to wrap his mind around the consequences of his actions to realize that blowing up a planet is a particularly bad idea. Or, just as likely, does it purely by accident.", which may as well be written in Fry's greeting card.
If we get technical, it may be a subversion of the trope rather than it being played straight, but surely the idea is well ilustrated anyway.
