Enter The Arena As Your Avatar -- The Spinoff!

There's someone outside the Hotel, sitting on what appears to be thin air as he reads a book.

Detecting the timeline shift, and the disappearance(?) of the nanobot(?) clusters(?), Mai uses her own tech to "ride" it, appearing near the newcomer. She tries to scan the book, and scan a copy of it - every page - into her Advanced Omni-tool. This would be visible as a subtle, but noticeable beam of light sweeping over the book, seemingly coming from within, almost reminiscent of a real-life scanner but apparently sourceless and less blindingly bright. Of course, her Tool's systems would detect hazardous information or patterns in it and alert her rather than downloading them.

The scan will reveal that the book is about rather complex architecture, showing buildings of castles, mansions, among others. The mathematics involved in the book is rather complicated, too.

The man soon notices the glow, and he turns to look up at Mai, narrowing his eyes at her for a minute. He then takes off his glasses, still staring at her without speaking a single word.

She's now drinking a green soda.

"Hum... tasty."

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.

She looks back and raises an eyebrow.

"We can handle what is true, for we are already living it."

The staring continues. It seems that he's waiting for her to explain herself...

Rather than doing so, she turns her eyes down to her Advanced Omni-tool, saving the information she's gained into a subfolder.

The man soon just stops staring, before finally speaking up.

"What did you do?" he asks. Mai might note that there's absolutely no emotion in his voice, which she might find unnatural...

She shrugs. "I was curious."

Back around the hotel, a rather futuristic ship lands on the roof, as a group of people are beamed down from it onto the ground nearby- except one, who travels down in a bolt of bright light. They include a suited man, and a lady who appears to give out light in the night, the lady being the one who travelled down in the bolt of light, and Otto/Maik.

Whatever trip they had in the space around the arena was amazing, such as getting to see planetary scans, stars and such, even trying to search for some more habited planets. And with a glowing lady floating outside the spaceship.

"That was fun, wasn't it?" the suited man remarks. "Space is always awesome and fun to be in if there's no hostiles."

"Talked to the stars. Sadly this dimension isn't the one my home Kingdom is in." the girl sighs a bit before looking up. "Still, space around here is so awesome."

DDS isn't around atm. He can do w/e he wants with his character.

The man is still emotionless, and is not showing even a single hint of feeling.

*A plasma-and-flame-covered blue sword blade then appears, stuck through one of the walls of the hotel. It appears to be coming from inside the hotel, and is quickly used to slice open a circle in the wall, the cut-up section falling away to reveal... empty air? And a few quiet footstep sounds as the sword vanishes again. There's something present... the shadow near the hole doesn't look quite right...*

The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.

"I see."

The man then turns to the sword, and he just waits as he notes the shadow near the hole. His lack of emotion might strike Mai as utterly inhuman...

Corporate!Ganondorf walks around.

She looks curiously at the hole, then wonders about the guy's lack of reaction. Emotional suppression? Or just really, really disciplined or detached? Or something other than human?

Mai's Advanced Omni-tool then pings her an alert, and she looks down at it. My Alternate's here? Normally it would be stable enough to handle her, but with this being a dimensional nexus...

"Maybe we could visit the neighbouring galaxy from here the next time." Rayzer pats Maik.

"Anyway, we might need to take a bit of a break for now." Lumi nods as the two wave goodbye, "teleporting" back into their hotel room... although she does note a presence of evil as she enters her room.

Via telepathy, she contacts Rayzer.

[There's a being of darkness around, and I hope he doesn't cause any trouble]

Ugh. Gotta go for a walk now. Can't stay here much.

"That would be... awesome..." She barely (consciously) registers the patting, but smiles slightly. Then, still somewhat pleasantly dazed, she heads for the stairs...

*A moment or two later, the air shimmers, then flickers as a man clad in blue... eh... clothing? appears out of the shimmering. At least, that looks like clothing, but the way it moves, or rather doesn't move, is all wrong... he just stares at Mai and the man, a small smile present on his face. Thankfully, not a slasher smile today.*

"Evening."

"Good evening," the man simply greets, still with that unnerving lack of emotion.

Mai nods. "Good evening, I suppose." She's still keeping half an eye on her Omni-tool, and a specific display highlighted in red. Hm... the timeline seems stable enough, but if she gets closer... I'm not sure. It depends... there are a lot of factors.

*He pauses, staring at the people present. It seems that he's... not really that good with the whole social side of events, at any rate. His eyes start darting around ever so slightly, as if instinctively checking the nearby area, which of course he is.*

"...So..."
