"Nah. I like my battles 1v1" she says, folding her arms and smirking.

Je-7th snaps awake.

" -yawns- Sorry, but I'm an observer. I don't directly involve myself in things without good reason."

Chris saw that Zawdija also had a ranged weapon, and gave himself a quick mental strategy of how he would approach this battle. The two main tactics he had in mind were either to run-and-gun, or to bring the battle to close quarters.

Zawdija let the other two know of the battle that was about to begin. The lady admitted preferring one-on-one duels over any other format, while the other guy was more content to watch. Chris nodded, then said to the two who weren't participating, "Alright. Might want to give a bit of space or take some sort of cover. Ranged attacks seem to be the name of this game."

Je-7th nods and simply moves higher up into the air to watch from above.

"So, uh, can I start?"

When Chris gives him any sign of approval, Zawdija will point his gun at him and fire a single shot at Chris. He's still quite relaxed.

She just leaps on a branch, still eating the crepes, although she looks at Je-7th.

"Want some ?"

"Oh, certainly. Thank you."

He takes one of the crepes and begins eating it.

"So, who are ya ?" she says, chewing on a crepe.

Chris gave a quick nod to signal he was ready, and Zawdija was quick on the draw, taking a quick shot to initiate the battle. Chris tried twisting away to the left, but it didn't get him to fully avoid the shot. It was enough, however, to reduce the shot's effect to a glancing impact with the armor. The impact did push him around a bit further, and Chris took his right foot a step back to straighten out a bit.

Chris also took a quick shot, pointing his weapon towards Zawdija and firing off a small fire bullet that, while initially aimed shoulder-high, seemed to drop a little bit as it flew towards its target.

Zawdija starts to grin as the battle begins.

He activates one of his techs and dashes to the side to avoid the shot, anticipating the attack. His grin fades as he notices that his opponent isn't using normal bullets, but some kind of fire weapon. "I hate fire."

Zawdija flips a switch on a magazine-like module on his gun and fires a burst of three bullets at Chris. These bullets are charged with electricity, designed to shock opponents.

A black figure is watching all of them from afar.

Zawdija managed to dash away from the shot. Given that he had a strong dislike of fire, he probably focused quite a bit on getting out of the way. Zawdija returned fire with electrically-charged shots. Chris sprinted forward, which was counterclockwise to Zawdija's point of view, to get away from the bullets, then activated his levitation spell so that he could turn to face his opponent while still moving in the same direction.

Chris then fired two more fire bullets, the first looking off to his opponent's left then curving towards him, the second looking to come at him, but curving the same direction, so that it would only hit if Zawdija stepped toward the right to avoid the first shot. Chris then landed and skidded to a stop.

When his opponent aims too much to the left of him, Zawdija doesn't use a tech to evade, and just steps to the right - only to be hit by the (second) curving bullet. Zawdija winces in pain as he is hit by the bullet. His armor reduces the force of the impact, but it is pierced and the fire affects him. He then disappears.

Zawdija reappears behind Chris after using his blink tech for a short range teleport. He crouches down and fires another burst of three electricity bullets, aiming at the back of his hopefully unsuspecting target.

Chris's attack was effective enough, with the second shot landing and burning through the opponent's armor a bit. However, Zawdija disappeared afterward, meaning Chris either shot at a decoy, or his opponent teleported away to perhaps get out of Chris's sight as he did.

Before Chris could find his opponent again, Zawdija got him from behind with a similar burst of electric shots. Chris collapsed to the ground, though not out of the fight just yet thanks to his armor. He was, however, slow to get back up due to the damage he had sustained.

As Zawdija sees Chris collapse to the ground, he manipulates nearby plants to grow their roots, in an attempt to keep him down, or at least restrain his movements. He takes aim and shoots at the arm of Chris which is holding his weapon, using a single electric bullet.

He isn't the best fighter, Chris may still be able to evade his attack.

The black figure gets a closer vantage spot, about 100 ft away.

Zawdija gets some of the nearby plants to try to root Chris to the ground in an attempt to make his next shot easier, but Chris sees what is happening and uses his levitation spell to 'jump' out of the trap. Chris then dashes towards Zawdija in a somewhat unpredictable pattern to dodge the shot if it is taken, and does what appears to be something sort of like a round kick using his spell's turning speed to power it, but with Chris positioning himself horizontally, this kick is aimed to come down on his opponent's head.

Hmm.

The Auditor is now about 50 ft away, in a tree.

Zawdija panics as Chris evades his attack and runs towards him. He activates a shield, but is hit by the kick, and is smashed to the ground. His shield is in 'bounce' mode, and Chis should feel a strong force pushing him in the opposite direction of his kick.

Zawdija will need a moment to recover.

Heh...I was thinking more along the lines of Blaziken rather than Kiryu with that move. But that's not important now...

Zawdija put up a shield to repel the strike, but it only served to reduce the damage rather than outright negate it. The shield's push turned Chris's kick around, but not far enough to bring his leg over to risk an unexpected strike, and Chris didn't try to pull the reversed kick on his own power, as he probably would have gone over his opponent anyway.

Chris landed in front of his opponent, intending to press the advantage, this time gripping his weapon by the 'barrel' end, and attempted a golf swing of sorts, hoping to strike his opponent's legs.

The Auditor moves very close to the two, in a tree above them. He watches the fight, looking to see who is stronger.

Zawdija attempts to roll out of the way, but isn't fast enough. His armor and the shield, which breaks from the strike, soften the blow.

He activates his dash tech again. This time he uses it to launch himself at Chris, hoping to get too close for him to use his weapon. Zawdijas fists are covered in poisenous spikes, he attempts to strike the parts of his body that aren't covered in armor.

The poison has a paralyzing effect.

Oh, and he dropped his gun.

Zawdija picks his gun back up and warps◊ back to his ship.

Sorry, I really need to go to sleep.
