As Zach is being treated by the assistants, who seem to have powers related to healing, the rock telefragged into him being removed harmlessly, the doctor seems to look over at Daniel.
"Interesting...perhaps they share an intermediary location..."
Fukuro also seemed to take out his phone at one point, bit his lip at a message he got, and then closed the phone.
Meanwhile, Jake was on his way to his room when he passed Rachel in the hallway. He thought about saying something, maybe something rather daring, but he clammed up in fear of what he termed a usual reaction.
He glowered at the floor for a moment; I'm...there's no way around it. I'm a loser.
Lapis, relatively uninjured looks around at the other students, searching for the girl who called Jake piticel. "Hey Danella, mind if I talk to you for a sec?" he asked, rather curiously, which could easily be mistaken for a bad or good thing.
Danella put on a rather flirtatious face, putting her hand on her chin and putting the other behind her back, "Yeah, Lapi-Lapi? You wanna talk to me about something...personal...?"
She winked at him.
I really don't like this guy either. It seems I can't like anyone either. Mom might be right about me.
"You disgusting, hideous little freak!" A bottle is thrown across the room at a young Danella as she deploys her power for the first time, the shards of the bottle unable to penetrate her skin, a wispy amount of metal emerging from her hands.
The middle aged, obese woman towers over the small girl, her breath clouding the air due to the cold. "I didn't raise no damn freak! Get your brain together and apologize to that boy, he is your future!"
"No."
Danella's mother shrieked in her face, "What the fuck do you mean no!?"
Young Danella smiled, despite her abundant wounds, knowing somehow what just happened, "And now...you'll never...never hurt me...again..."
A slash and then a scream and flailing.
Danella remembered going to live with her relatives in this state, and then all of this...just sort of happening.
Should I try harder? None of em seem worth the effort.

"Huh. I was anticipating being laid up in bed for at least a week."
Zach blinked as the healers went to work on him. He had anticipated some top of the line medical treatment but this was still a lot better then he had been expecting.
"Guess I can't count on having a medical excuse to play hooky for the first day of class."

Fukuro looked over Zach again as the assistants finished their task, and stated, "I am afraid so. I saw when I was doing an inspection that there was something off about your arm, near that technology. Anything I should know?"
The doctor pondered on what these students would do come the morning. He had heard quite a fearsome in theory student would be showing up. A day late, how...ironic. Fukuro simply smiled to himself.

"There shouldn't be? I mean eventually I'm gonna hook it straight into my nervous system but I don't have any where near enough medical knowledge to be pulling that off any time soon. But honestly, its basically just a super powered laptop I attached to my forearm. Nothing funky should be happening. At least nothing funky that I caused."
Zach stared at his arm a bit worried and confused by the question. Really hoping that it was maybe just the batteries throwing off whatever the doctor used to examine him.

Doctor Fukuro sighed, "But I guess my machines might have been thrown off..."
He then turned and looked Zach over, before evidently deciding to inform him of something, "I've heard there will be some more students arriving tomorrow. If you want my opinion, there are some students you should watch carefully among them."
Fukuro seemed warm enough, but it seemed he was worried about something related to those students.

Lapis looked at her for a moment, As nice as you may turn out to be, I need to know about my friend first. "So you called my friend Piticel back there, you know, when you almost clawed my face." He just now notes a small bit of blood leaking from the cheek, Damn, when'd that... nevermind. "You mind explaining yourself there?"
Echo looked over the beds and then realized something, "Do we have any mechanics to fix me up if I get hurt?"
"Oh...that..." Danelle smiled a little now, and whirled lightly on her feet, "I met him online before we came to this school. He's a member of an online club for losers. Neither of us had exactly kind words for each other."
She remembered the forum and such, and seeing his picture, "They're not a good crowd. One of em went berserk a little while ago. Jakey fell in because he's seething with anger inside." Something we both have in common.
The doctor looked over at Echo and nodded, "Oh, yes, we have mechanics here in case you or someone else with cybernetic pieces has an injury."

"So Piticel was his name? If you could show me this forum some time. I like to understand the people I work with." Lapis was intrigued by the forum, it might also she d some light on Danella. "Also, you can drop the act. Not everyone is that gullible. " With that Lapis turned around and started walking away, waving bye as he went, "Good luck with classes."

Zach yawned as he laid in his infirmary bed after responding to the doc. It had been a long night after all.

Danelle looked away and thought about some things, but ultimately got moving, deciding whatever happened she'd get through.
Fukuro sighed, looking somewhat worried, "Well, I just worry, because one of them has somehow inherited the power of that monster that wrecked Asgard."
He looked like he was waiting to see whether Zach objected to him calling Reynolds a monster.

"That sounds bad... but like this place has super geniuses on staff, they have to have something in place if this person goes power mad or something."
Zach shifted in his infirmary bed, still a little sore from the rock to the guts situation, but otherwise feeling just like new as it were. Well, beyond the fact that he was quite tired.

By the time Lapis reached his room, he was pretty well already asleep.
Some of the assistants checked him again and Fukuro nodded, "Well then, I suppose you're quite correct - Cale would not accept such a thing if he didn't have...countermeasures."
He chuckled to himself, and then said, "Your injuries are healed. Be careful going forward."

"Cool. And looks like I still got a couple of hours left to get a nap in before the day actually starts."
Zach rolled out of bed and headed for the exit of the infirmary, he paused near the door to look back at Daniel.
"Yo, thanks for getting us all out of there."

Daniel will roll over and nod to Zach, only being half alseep. Forcing himself out of bed with a mild exhausted grunt, looking towards Zach. "N-no problem I wanted to get out of their as much as you did." Daniel says with a still tired look.
Briefly looking back with a appreciative smile to the doctors, even if they only gave him some painkillers. After all he had no physical or external injury just overuse of his powers.
"H-Hey Zach do you want to go and grab something to eat now we can both actually stand. I think that 'adventure' made me a bit hungry and i'm not sure how much more sleep I can actually get with that happened." Daniel says with some mild enthusiasm walking towards the door.
Sorry was without suitable internet for a bit then missed the fact more posts were made.

it is rather late at night, I don't think many places would be open for business.
As Zach started to exit, he saw the head financier of the school himself, Cale Bluefield, on his way somewhere. Bluefield was a tall, muscular individual, evidently in his thirties, though he still remained young looking. His blond hair was combed back neatly, and his eyes were a mix of green and blue. He wore a rather nice ensemble, even this late at night, a white button up shirt and dress pants.
He waved amiably at Zach, stopping for a moment to check something on his phone.

Lapis woke in a cold sweat, "Ugh, what was I dreaming about?" He rolled over, peering at his alarm. 6:45. "Ugh!" He rolled over, standing up, and was immediately made aware that his face was going to hurt for a while yet, "Man, she really did get me." Sure that he would be the talk around school for the group's clever rescue, he reluctantly grabbed his bass and headed to the music room for first period. He sat in the back of the class, playing acoustically and silently singing to himself. Then he saw it, the most beautiful acoustic he had ever seen, it's ebony finished glistened in the light. He gently reached out, stroking it lightly, "I wonder if anyone would be upset if I played it?" He pondered aloud.
Rachel was up nearly two hours before her first class. She was one of the earliest risers. She needed that time to get ready. She showered, and she shaved, both her legs and her face. She hadn't started hormones yet, so she still had to shave her face. Since it would be her first day of classes at the school, she decided to dress nicely. She put on her favourite outfit - black leggings, a red pleated skirt, a black-and-white striped shirt, and she set aside her cute black heeled boots.
After that came the make-up, the most time-consuming part of her morning routine. She was lucky that she didn't have too masculine a facial structure, but it still took some effort to make it look more feminine. She had mixed feelings on doing her make-up. On the one hand, she remembered before she began transitioning, and how easy it was, as a boy, to just roll out of bed, brush her hair and be off. A part of her missed that convenience. On the other hand, doing her make-up always made her feel like a woman, and it made her proud.
She still wished she could do it while she was asleep.
Finally, she was ready. She put on her boots, grabbed some breakfast from the cafeteria, and went to her first class. English.

Alright, flash forward to the morning away.
The next morning, there was a message throughout the Academy, even through the rooms, from Cale. "Welcome to your first day. I'm Cale Bluefield. Let me just say it is an honour to have all of you here. I hope to provide a safe learning environment for all students. If any of you need help, do not feel afraid to approach either one of my staff or in terms of security needs, one of my Centurions. They exist to protect you."
It looked like that was it.
The English Teacher was apparently a rather bookish middle aged woman of nondescript appearance, the sole normal teacher out of everyone, who looked to be fretting over things. "Oh dear, oh dear, a class full of superhumans..."
She managed to get herself together and stated, "Hello, class...I am Miss Gillespie, and...put your hand down, I've heard all of the My Immortal jokes."
She said in reference to a grinning, rather nerdy looking character seated near the back.
She continued, "Oh, it looks like there's a new student, already..."
A young man veritably stumbled into the class, dressed in a large coat that covered most of his upper body, a hood over the head, some disorderly blond strands falling out. It was apparent he was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. His backpack was almost comically huge, and he seemed to be having trouble keeping the zippers together.
He managed to find a seat, just in time for the teacher to look at his name and state, "Ahem, now, an introduction..."
The young man dropped off his stuff - coincidentally sitting two seats away from Rachel and he managed to say, "My name's Terry. I hope to, uh, make a few friends and enjoy my time here." A rather charming smile, though born of awkwardness.

Daniel had gone to English class this morning, very tired with little sleep. Wearing a dark near-black hoodie and a white backpack. Under the hoodie and noticeable for someone sitting behind is he has bandages leading from his neck and upper torso down his chest and arms to hide the purple marks from using his powers last night.
Having taken a seat near the window, Daniel had been very quite thus far. Quiet yawns as the teacher did her introduction, and at most a half smile at any comments or jokes from the students. He looked over his shoulder a row or two back at Terry as he took a seat and introduced himself. Daniel giving a tired smile, at least considering he wasn't the only one who felt out of place at this academy. Turning his attention to daydreaming out of the window, musing at what powers in this room might have...

Zach was awake enough. He hadn't gotten much sleep due to the events of last night, but unlike others in their impromptu rescue party he also hadn't expended as much energy. Though in turn he had been the one to have a chunk of rock almost teleported through his spine. He stared dully ahead at the teacher barely registering the new student despite the warning the doc had given him earlier.
It is convenient being a technopath, he mused, as he surfed the web mentally without engaging his arm mounted computer's holographic display.

Daniel with aid from someone else will go to the medical room with Zach. Despite the lack of physical injury it was clear while traveling that Daniel was in serious pain and was barely conscious. The purple patches having spread through most of the revealed skin.
Arriving at the Doctors he will lay down on a bed so he doesn't fall over injure himself. There is cure for his ailment other than rest but treating the symptoms is better than nothing. He doesn't really say much except the odd reply to the doctors, though he does watch Zach getting treated with a somewhat sad look, wanting to help. Though Daniel will pass out in the medical bed from exhaustion before too much time passes.
