Echo slung Zach over his shoulder and started to carry him POW style, "Alright, we need to get you out of here."
Emma scanned the area, discerning that - indeed - it seemed the Z-Listers were fleeing, though they were apparently exiting that strange chamber. The students were in the same place.
"I just got done scanning the area. It seems our students are still in the same place. Though...the fact the Z-Listers beat feet after exiting the chamber is not boding well."
Lapis shrugged, "Then we'll take the long way around?" Lapis knew this wasn't really a question, but he wanted to make it at least sound innocent.
"Alright. That sounds like a plan."
Emma looked onward, "I'll lead the way. Nash, you make sure we're not going to be getting any surprises. Jake, take the front with Barrier Girl."
"Everyone else, make sure you keep up."
Daniel nods at Emma, following behind the group though staying near Echo and Zach. During which taking another piece of candy from his pocket and chewing on it as he does so.
Daniel will occasionally peer at Lapis and questioning in his mind the likelihood of simply talking through a situation. Though Daniel didn't want to get into a fight either.
"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."
As they continue on, proceeding through ever eerier areas of the slaughterhouse, Emma looks up and nods, "We're approaching our runaways."
Up ahead there were signs of the presence of other people, mostly some scraps of food supplies and such.
Vision guy feel free to appear.
Lapis peaked behind him every so often, opting to stay closer to the front, but when he noticed Daniel peering at him, he lid back to approach, "Don't worry, even if talks fall through, it'll cause enough of a distraction that you can have the rest of the group find a way around." Lapis didn't necessarily like the idea of being alone, but he could deal if need be.

Emma looked back at Lapis and then ahead - that bad vibe from that place was getting worse. Just what were those idiots fooling around with?
"I'm getting an extremely bad psychic feeling from up ahead, past our students, I'll go ahead once we're done here and check things out."
This feels like HER. Joy of joys.
"Perhaps you should just come back with us, I mean, I think we can only pull off one more port," Lapis said, "You clearly don't seem thrilled to go that direction, so how about you let it lie for now and come back with a professional team.
Daniel will nod. "Yeah I don't think I have enough strength to manage another round trip. I am sure I can make it back to the academy with everyone though..." he says with a slightly bit of fear in his voice.
Daniel was very uncomfortable here, this place was revolting and the group was both exhausted and wounded. He himself knew he had pushed himself too far already but wasn't going to just run away without the others.

Rachel kept at the front of the group, determined that no one would get past her to the others. She glanced back, and saw the state they were all in. She looked at Emma. "Hey, Frost. Why aren't any of the other X-Men here? I know they're not busy engaging in any actual civil rights efforts, so why aren't they here doing what they do best and attacking other mutants?"

Emma seemed to think about this, and then recalled what she saw about them. "There was an emergency in New Jersey."
It'd be no loss if we lost the beach front there, though.
Jake however took note of how Rachel was talking and seemed to grimace and look away.
Cassidy however looked slightly interested in what might be going on.
"Why should we be attacking other mutants? Why not fighting the badguys, be very careful of your word choice, you could set off the wrong person saying something like that. There are other badguys that aren't mutants, but that's neither here nor there, the better question is why does it take the entire X-men, Fantastic Four, and even the Avengers to battle a New Jersey situation, it's like the smallest state besides Rhode Island, literally. Even if it does, where are the other roaming heroes, like Spidey or Dr. Strange?" Lapis asked, something on this entire situation was starting to seem wrong and he was trusting Emma less and less, "How do we know you truly are who you say you are Miss Frost?" He eyed her very carefully for a moment, then laughed, "Just kidding, but just keep in mind, if something does go wrong, there's an entire group of us, but there's only one of you." Lapis turned and walked up to walk next to Rachel, "I don't trust her," he whispered, "None of what she just said adds up."
"Maybe you didn't hear, but the Inner Circle aren't exactly pure little angels. Allow me to show you something, Lapis."
She then promptly showed Lapis a telepathic image of Emma's former students and Hellions, reanimated as zombies, crowding around Emma and blaming her for their deaths and reanimations.
"All your fault, Emma. You could've saved us."
"Maybe if you were a better teacher I wouldn't have died! You're to blame! YOU! When I eat your guts, I'll savour every piece of gristle!"
"That is why we fight other mutants." Despite her frosty demeanour, it was clear Emma hadn't exactly had an easy time. "So be more careful next time you try to sew discord, Lapis, because I've dealt with the likes of Empath, who was both smarter and better equipped for the task."
Jake didn't seem to take the tone Lapis was taking any better, and crossed his arms in front of his chest, "For the love of...can any of you leave these screeds for your angsty Tumblr posts? What's next?"
Jake took on a rather mocking tone, "Gonna ask me or Emma to "check your privilege?""

"Can we not argue and get a move on? Some of us here kind of have a chunk of rock fused with our lower intestinal track, I think. It is quite painful. I mean sure, probably not going to bleed to death, but I'd still like it removed sooner rather then later."
Zach had been whimpering quietly in pain in the background as Echo lugged him around having figured with Emma Frost around he wouldn't really need to do anything anymore. Then their momentum halted for apparently the group to throw a hissy fit at one another.

Lapis stopped and turned around, "Alright Miss Frost, why don't you take a peak into my memories, memories of pain and agony, you aren't the only one here with a sad past, most of us have something in our pasts, I'm sure we can all tell you. I believe you should watch your tone with us." Lapis had a rather menacing stare, "Because no matter how much you think you can read my mind, I can be pretty damn unpredictable." Lapis turned around, "Students are right in there, right?" he asked, pulling up some metal and made it into a defensive bar, while a little covered around the same fist, "Just in case."
Emma kept going, deciding this was not worth the time, and besides, Zach was injured and things could still go badly. I suppose seeing that person set me off a little...
"I'm...sorry. There, now lets keep going."
As soon as Lapis turned the corner, one of the students suddenly swiped at him on instinct, her hands covered in metal claws of some sort, but stopping mere instants from him.
"Heh, apologies. I got too high strung and leaped before I looked." She then immediately blushed and moved back, lightly swatting at the air.
Emma broadcasted information to the others; Her name's Danella. Her parents said she has extremely poor impulse control. Cocktail personality.
Lapis, having been prepared, let his defensive club drop harmlessly to his side. "Is everyone alright?" Lapis kept his eyes darting around the students for a moment before resting them on his attacker. "Name's Lapis," he stretched out his hand towards Danella, "Who might you be?" he asked, pretending not to hear Emma.
"I'm Danella...the others are..."
She motioned toward where she had been hiding, and it looked like the other students were standing, ready to go in case Danella reported something bad.
She looked at Jake and swiftly turned to smirking, "Hey, Piticel."
Jake grimaced and quickly turned away, almost as if pretending she wasn't even there. Danella Grimsley was definitely someone he'd met, if you could say that.
Emma, however, just looked fed up with these strange conflicts and announced, "Listen, we're heading back to the school, all of you. You can talk about online spats there, when one of our own isn't bleeding."
Lapis looked over at Jake, "Indeed, I do believe Miss Frost is right, one of the other guys sensed two other presences in this place, so let's go ahead and get everyone together. Daniel, if you'd be so kind." He honestly wanted to at least catch a glimpse of whoever these other two people were, he liked to know his enemies, but at the same time, and this was not the time to stay with this Danella already causing trouble, "Our... leader," he said, trying to pick just the right word, "here is in a bit of a pinch, and he kinda' needs some medical attention."

Daniel who had been following behind, a little slower than usual but that was mostly due to exhaustion. Giving a honestly happy nod to Lapis. Daniel steps towards Echo placing one hand upon him and then stretching the second for others to chain from. "Hold on to me or someone connected and I will 'port everyone back to the school." He says with a exhausted monotone.
Assuming no one resists and once everyone has joined onto the chain with Daniel, he will close his eyes and begin the teleport. The purplish energy conducting through into everyone and in a split second and a flash of bright light everyone will appeared in the main hall of the school where we were given our welcoming speech. Leaving a loud burst back at the slaughter house where were just standing. Daniel after teleporting will just slump down on the floor against Echo, barely able to move.

"I'd say home sweet home, but just because it has dorms does not make it home. Anyways, Echo, you mind being my ride long enough to get me to the infirmary? Might want to bring Daniel with us to."
Zach was really hoping the damage to his intestinal tract wasn't going to result in something like septic shock, or if it did, the medical professionals here could fix it.

Emma immediately stated aloud, "I will talk to Dr. Pym, and you have my sincerest apologies for involving you in these affairs. Rest assured the Inner Circle will not be escaping this one."
She also remembered the fact there was an odd energy signature in that place and that she'd need to take care of that on her own time.
"For those uninjured, return to your rooms, otherwise, go to the appropriate doctors."
The students who needed medical assistance would find it in the school infirmary, a rather more high level place than most such buildings. Attending was a rather odd Japanese man, his hair platinum blond, perhaps hinting at a mixed race background, his face seeming friendly but lined.
He was dressed as a simple doctor. "Welcome, I see that the worst happened. Please sit down and my assistants will begin healing you. I am a friend of Mister Cale, you may call me...Fukuro."
Rachel felt a little strange, but figured it was a combination of the fighting and the teleport. She figured a good night's rest was all she needed, so she returned to her room. She noticed the other bed was empty, and wondered where her roommate was, but shrugged and went to sleep.

Lapis was unsure how much of what Zach told him was the truth, he'd pry more later, but for now, there was work to be done. He turned to Matt, "The students still in the same place bud?" He was only going to concern himself with the alpha mission, taking down any more baddies could come later.
