I think it mostly stems with how Stein seems to think that a scientist has to think and act a certain way, ergo his disdain towards his younger self and Ray, who don't really agree with his approach to science that much.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Wild Mass Guessing time:
The Lazurus pit is where a hundred or so of Kendra and Carter's past selves were buried, and their blood gave it its power.
Huh.
Holy shit, I could actually see that.
If that's the case, perhaps the way to get through the bloodrage for Sara will be having the people—well, person now— whose blood brought her back?
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersI don't know, that would be awfully convenient.
I thought Constantine cured the blood lust.
he got her soul back. bloodlust may or may not still be there.
Got a degree in Emotional trauma via fictional characters aka creative writing. hosting S'mores party in Hell for fellow (evil) writersImpression I get is that Sara no longer needs to kill like Thea does, but she still gets the urges.
Sara's in the realm of Unpredictable Results. Thea's rejuvenation has known, well documented symptoms. Sara's resurrection was only known in legends and Constantine restoring her soul means they simply don't know how she should be affected. For her to be completely "whole" again would be contrary to everything the Lazarus Pit is about.
Heads up guys. Legends has the post Super Bowl timeslot tonight. So we're getting the next ep early
Wait, what.
Uh, no, the Superbowl is on CBS. The CW doesn't have any programming on Sundays, I believe. My local tv schedule just lists "local programming." (And CBS's post-Superbowl show is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.)

Yup, 10 tonight. New episode right after the game on CBS
Oh wait...it's only in Canada...huh. Guess I'm getting lucky tonight

Really? Because that's not in my area. It only lists "local programming" at 10 pm on CBS and the CW. Are you sure it's not a rerun of the pilot?
It's apparently only in Canada, on CTV. But it's def a new episode, unless my TV Guide is trolling me
I got the same thing. We'll see if it's really a new ep, or some kind of era on their part.
One Strip! One Strip! Was that intentional?
Dunno, but the networks here at least do like to book a new episode of something in the post Super Bowl timeslot.Or at least CTV does, since they broadcast the game every year that I can remember
This reminds me of when Castle used to air Sunday nights on CTV, a full day before the American broadcast.

Hey, I liked Ed the Sock. How did they even know Ed the Sock?
Game's still going, so Legends is going to be starting late. Happens, even that time last year or year before when the blackout happened
And a station ad just confirmed that episode is indeed new. I'll try and keep my comments spoiler free for the rest of you guys.

Doesn't matter.
The game is ran long, and is still doing all the wrap up, so I think by the time everything is done, the chance to see it will be gone.
One Strip! One Strip!Nah, they always air the programming no matter how far past the time slot the game's gone. CTV's pretty predictable that way.
They're airing the episode themselves after all, not streaming from another channel, or whatever it's called. They"ll only be preempting local news anyway.

Last week was odd about the bloodlust thing. Arrow had Malcolm, the local expert about such things, says that Sara doesn't have bloodlust (comparing her to Thea) because Constantine totally fixed her soul post Lazarusing, whereas Thea's is still broken. The very next day on Legends, Sara says she still has the condition, even namedropping Thea as someone who is going through the exact same thing.
If I were to guess, I'd say it could be a minor consequence of the current Arrow season probably being written before the Legends of Tomorrow characterizations were set, and they either didn't really care about changing it afterwards or it was a minor oversight between the writing of two shows.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.
So I'm watching Episode 3 now and is there a specific reason Stein is kind of a jerk to Ray?
