I think Terry is the only one referring to Corny as an otaku, which might be due to Corny mentioning manga and talking about Death Note to Luna before the fire broke out (and within Terry's earshot).

In future sections from now on, you might see some of your characters being mentioned, their exploits referred to. Don't believe this future to be set in stone. This is just one of the many possibilities...

Seriously, have I mentioned I love where this roleplay is going? Ooh, this next update is gonna be so fun I can tell.

Oh yeah, regarding Future Section references for Cornelius, he would of certainly tried getting others to work with him on forcibly improving society.

Y'know, not to criticize you guys' roleplay abilities, but son't you think things are going a bit too fast?

One minute people are confused about what's going on, the next they're tossing out their powers as if they've been using them their whole lives. It might just be me, but a lack of build-up sort of diminishes the 'wow' factor of kids getting superpowers. Not to mention that the tender teenage hormones would make them freak out a bit more than this, which so far has been not at all, yeah?

In my defense Zia is freaking out and can't use most of her abilities properly aside frome the basics. I'm trying to keep it as realistic as possible but, well, a lot of people are goin' nuts with theirs. Still, I probably should've kept her control more minimal. Sorry.

Luna literally just learned to turn them on/off.

Cornelius has savviness, pre-existing intense desire for the fantastical, and learned to distance himself from the expectations of society. Though yeah, I am surprised there hasn't been more of a "thing" once the superpowers got thrown around. At the least you expect several screams at seeing sudden lightning.

Well, Zia did mentally attack him as well right? I would imagine he would be a little confused as a result. Though would it be possible for the telepaths to salvage this by attacking his mind again? Cause I suppose the first thing a loyal citizen would do would be to inform their local authority about dangers to the country.

So we either getting an innocent man locked up in an asylum, render him a drooling mess, or the SWAT starts kicking down our doors in a few days. Boy, this really can't end well.

In regards to the future section, allow me to establish some comparisons. I hope that as the children grow, their situations will become more and more dire as they deal with their newfound powers. The Purple Woman of 2019, for example, let the power go to her head as a result of how her power started to grow the more she used it. Consider her an example. Of course, there's still two years before she gets sent to that unknown location and gets interrogated, so who knows what else she will do. Again, consider the future sections a possible future. And here's a hint: I'm leaving the 'location' sections of those future parts very vague for a future revelation.

Wait, so will the limits of our powers grow beyond the limits of the character we got them from? If so, that's rather strange... Besides that, is Future Location not even on their Earth, like the moon or some alternate universe?

That is what Jessica seems to be talking about, right? Then again, you can never trust someone so used to getting everything the way she wants.

As for the second question, no, it's Earth alright.

Hmm... Well clearly it must be a prison for superhumans and their creations, thus you want that someplace remote where they can't actually harm people. It would hardly be sane to keep people like Terry or Cornelius near (or even under) inhabited areas unless they didn't capture any of that caliber.

Did Jessica mention a disaster?... okay, I'm already making theories that the empowered kids made 9/11 2.0 or something like that.

Also, damn. Jessica is a dark bitch.

Hmm...like a multiverse theory?

Also liking the fact that our powers can grow and evolve. In the future, I'll be able to come up with new Symbiote abilities that aren't seen in the Marvel Universe.

Well, you could probably just get it evolved to the point you basically have Power Copying as one of your actual abilities. Just hit someone with the goo, let it slither back to you, and viola! Instant new superpowers. Would obviously be useless on New Agers with magical powers, but there's enough genetic & Mutant New Agers you'll grow majorly.

New Agers? Really? Not Empowered?

Well if you wan to get really realistic. People perusing kids is realistic. The Government doing it, isn't (unless it's north Korea or something).

Basic human rights and all that.
