If you prefer, you should split it into two sections, Seren.
Will do. I'll start doing that with my next post.
What's this? Travis...actually doing things?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
okay i'll stop talking about it now
I suppose I'll follow Seren's lead too. My next post will probably give flashes of Tim's power.
I'll post soon, just a little busy with practical reports. I love what Shooter is thinking, gave me a good laugh.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Hey, nice to meet you all.
Since I came a little late, I was wondering if the empowered characters have already formed social groups?
As far as I can tell, no, other than a few already-friends and the mild bond between people who almost died together.
Though I have a bad habit of skimming, so I can't be trusted..
Hey, sven, it's nice to see Alex again
And yeah, there's a couple of friend-pairs but not really any set in stone groups yet. There's a few students who go to the same clubs, or have interest in the same sort of clubs, but that's about it.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Hi, guys. So... I'm back from work. I'll try to post again tonight.
Oh, I almost forgot. Welcome, @svenorzokarkoff. Nice to meet you.
Hiya Sven, glad to have you on board!
Sorry I haven't posted for a bit - I'm real busy with IRL stuff. I will try to post in a few horus though.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”@Whiz: Likewise, it's nice to see a familiar face.
Regarding Alex's status, He's a loner and would only know everyone in passing.
I'll be writing his introductory post soon, and I might introduce the Symbiote (colour scheme is based off Venom, btw) later on.
I'm still trying to figure out how he would gain it though...would he have been exposed to the magic fire as well?
Well, yes. I suppose there could be other empowerings, but the magic fire's the only one we know about. I find it somewhat hilarious you got the symbiote from being exposed to one of its weaknesses though.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Y'know, I'm noticing a pattern developing here;
No one has any respect for Principal Shooter.
Pretty much ignoring him, passing notes in front of him, calling forth the fury of gods in the room, blatantly yelling at him. It's horrible.
The magic fire probably made Alex feel the pain of connecting with a symbiote before giving him the symbiote? I mean, it's magic fire. Do you need to explain everything?
Cornelius is only yelling at him in an attempt to get some kind of answer about the fire. Genuinely flipped out when it came to Luna though.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Zia's powers probably won't have the effects she desires or have nasty side effects. Just trying to stop the room from exploding or the copsfrom getting called.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”One more post out of me then I shall review where best to put young Tim.
Looks like I missed quite a party yesterday!
Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.Okay, I seriously want to know, but why are people (whose characters shouldn't even know Cornelius) so strongly assuming he's a "Misanthropic Otaku Bastard"? The phrase Tome of Creation should be rather generic so you can't just know that's a Death Note reference unless you outright ask Neil. There's also plenty of works Neil could be drawing from instead of Death Note in general, so why does everyone keep thinking that?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."
I appreciate what Cornelius tries to do. But my character, being who she is, not so much. It's all in character, though. I hope you don't mind.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.I think that Cornelius does have a point, and Alex doesn't have a problem with him, he just doesn't want a fight to break out in a classroom...again. That's why I tried to write him from a more neutral standpoint; he doesn't know who's in the right or wrong.
As for what Alex said, I was trying to go for the "Some people only learn through experience" angle, although may have been vague. Cornelius can interpret that how he will.
Well, what did you guys think of Nick just going up to Cornelius and shooting down his words despite Cornelius knowing nothing about his character? Cause Cornelius is mostly just confused by him.
Though yeah, I don't mind people having their characters react in-character, just a little suspicious due to all the Misanthropic Otaku Bastard opinions.

"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."
A fairly good example of how some people dealing with life-changing revelations, to be honest. I mean, the world as we know it suddenly went crazy in less than 24 hours. Different people deal with it in different ways, and tension is bound to rise when opinions come into conflict.
While I'm not quite sure how "Otaku" comes into this, Cornelius does seem to focus on the worst-case scenarios from an in-universe standpoint.

I really like Zia, always a joy to read her mind reading. Btw she is completely right Luna's father is really a waste of human flesh.
