Well it's Creative Assembly. Rome II was mostly an isolated incident, apparently Attila was really well-received and pretty free of the crippling bugs of Rome II.
Good to know, I have already regained trust in them with Alien Isolation, a strategy focused developer reeasing a pretty good survival horror is no easy feat.
I also noticed Elves are not given any highlight in the trailer, while it is not a representative of the final product, not seeing makes me wonder how big would thier role be...
Considering in Empire they were able to show most of the world (not to mention the increased size of Europe and the Middle-east in Rome II) I would say that world size isn't really an issue. I personally hope that the Elves and whatnot are also part of the game. It'd be a shame for the factions to just be the Empire's electorships, the dwarven clans, the Orks, and Chaos.
Yes. Elves, Tomb Kings and Skaven are the ones I wish to play.
Conception is sin Birth is pain Life is toil Death is inevitableAll I want is for them to take thier time, I believe Creative Assemply can be creative and make great games. When they're not under the pressure, I am sure it can turn out well.

Indeed. They already posted a job offer for what was basically a lore consultant, so hopefully it'll turn out well.

Hmm. I remember playing and loving Warhammer: Dark Omen. If this turns out somewhere near as good as my image of that game was, it could be rather special.
I actually the story for the campaign will be as good as the previous strategy games, with additional ones for other faction making to expansions.
One thing I would be bummed to see would be having a faction getting the end of the stick for no proper reason.
I'm just hoping that it's more than the Empire, Vampires, Chaos, Orks, and Dwarves. Like the Skaven, Lizardmen, Elves (of all kinds), Bretonnia, Araby, and other stuff like that. Skaven and Lizardmen can both have qualities of the Aztecs: The Skaven have lots of poor-quality infantry but Stormvermin can be higher-quality, Lizardmen can be the primitively-armed group, things like that.
I would love to see the Skaven, seriously, these guys are sooo lethal. They're going to get beaten up by Witch Hunters and Priests etc... in Vermintide anyway, might as well see them get a spotlight.
I wonder what would they do if they cover the End Times, probably not as it is basicly Chaos Falls, Everyone Dies

Yeah, most likely not.
Agreed, unless Creative Assembly made a secret deal with Games Workshop to have the story mode introducing the new canon created after the build the world again Reset Button of the End Times...
Welp, the modding tool for Total War: Attila are released, I guess Total waagh will get them eventually. We'll see what the community will do when it's all done.

I saw the presentation at E3. Holy fucking shit, the battle. It made Peter Jackson look like confusing shit.
Seriously, the combat is awesome.
AAAAAAAARGH I WANNA SEE
You have giant spiders picking up humans and eating them. EATING THEM.
So how related is Warhammer and Warcraft? Is this the same universe? Or are they similar like Dota and LOL are similar to each other?
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Other than Warcraft was originally gonna take place in the Warhammer universe, there are no relations to the universe at all. The combat will also be larger in scale becuase of what we saw in previous Total War predecessors.
Well of course. Part of Warhammer is absurdly massive battles.
Their Or(k/c)s are both green

Decided to create a specefic thread just in case, anyway...
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!! TRAILAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!
I really hope it's good. Most of games from Games Workshop's liscences were lackluster, so hopefully this one will be worth playing.
Altough I 'm not sure wether tha game will be clean of massive bugs. But Creative Assembly got Alien: Isolation right, so why not this one? I hope...
Ok now seriously, they should have caled itTotal Warhammer, or Total Waaghh!! Hammer Time!
Back to seriousness, have a Eurogamer and PC Gamer articles if you missed them.
