Ehh...about average to me. The first two eps were okay, the third wasn't that good. We'll see what happens with the fourth.
Also, calling it now, the little girl is a Kid from the Future.

I think there's a lot of potential in the set up that could go beyond just people shooting each other. The thing I like is that the antagonists are evil, they are just like the heroes, just people trying to save their own world, and the perspective could be easily switched. There is a lot of space here for actual moral dilemmas and some hard hitting questions, that I hope the series won't squander.
It probably will get squandered though.
Is this some sort of sequel to Infinite Stratos?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."It's very...Ok. I like that none of the characters seem to be stereotypes and the animation is fine, but there's just no real zing to it yet. And yeah, I do think this has the potential to be pretty good if they put some effort into characterizing the alternate-selves, but so far not a lot on that front.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedThere's a video for the original video game that made the anime's alternate selves look like the main characters. It's possible this anime is supposed to be a Perspective Flip.

The premise is certainly interesting, and the characters are certainly a diverse bunch. The "time keepers" and that little "ghost" girl add a unique flavor to the mix. I'm certainly willing to give this series a shot. It certainly hasn't jumped the shark, yet.
After four episodes, I have to say, this has gotten really good. I can't belive they actually killed Shizune and I really liked how the characters reacted to it, that was some good character building. Also, it seems the character actually are questioning the motives of Timekeepers which could get interesting.
The action is still great and next episode is setting up for some revelation. This anime doesn't disappoint.
The episode 5 is out and did not disappoint.
I was wondering what the reveal is going to be, what's the reason for Timekeepers to set up this cruel game instead of just saving both worlds. Now we got the answer: it's because both world exist that they are going to be destroyed. And so Timekeepers decided that it's better if only one ceases to exist instead of two.
That's really bleak, it's honestly worse than I though. If it was just Timekeepers being jerks about not saving both worlds it would somehow be better. But it's just such a detached assessment that both worlds can't survive that doesn't leave much room for negotiation. Timekeepers are too alien to be reasoned with, too godlike to be opposed, and it's honestly not clear that they are wrong. It's easy to say that future is not determinated, but they'll need more than that if they seriously want to avoid the destruction of both worlds. This is going to be an uphill battle.
Seems like Timekeepers sent Tooru to the other world. I wonder what their motive is for doing that, and what will he learn in it. From the glimpses we got it's way less pleasant than his own.
Episode 7 was actually pretty good. Most of it was exposition sure, but the animation was exactly the freaky stuff it needed to be.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointedYeah, I liked it. It really created the sense of "What the hell is going on?!?" that Tooru was going through.
Also why do I get the feeling that girl from the future is Tooru's daughter?
Episode 8 is out and it's even worse than could be imagined. The Time Keepers don't want to rescue either world. They're forcing the characters into a conflict in order to create a super-weapon, "Dead End" for The Evulz. The "ghosts" are trying to stop them, but directly intervening only makes the process faster!
Episode 9, and the lead scientists, Dr. Ohdner, has gotten together with his alternate-world counterpart and both them have decided to wipe out the time-travelers because they're "in the way."
That's... that's kinda fucked up, even for God of Evil. And I follow Tate No Yuusha No Nariagari web novel.
Episode 11, in which the characters finally shut up and fight already. Really, this show has had plenty flaws, but when it want's to do nightmare fuel and decent looking fights, it delivers.
I'm disappointed, Tropers. Very disappointed
So what do you guys think of this series? I have to say I quite like it. The animation is good, the setting interesting, none of the characters annoy me, and the main conflict has a lot of potential. Definitely one of more enjoyable animes of the season.
