So, I kind of wanted to have a discussion about this band, and they already have their own page here (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Music/SumoCyco), which is in DESPERATE need of an update, so, why not go for it?

For those who don't know about this band, here's the short and sweet of it: Skye Sweetnam, who once had a Top 20 hit in Canada back in 2003 with "Billy S." and a Top 40 hit in America with "Tangled Up In Me" back in 2004, decided to form a rock band with two of her closest friends and her boyfriend. She fought for and eventually got released from her record label contract with EMI Music Canada in order to go forward with the band. The band released their debut album, Lost In Cyco City, in June of last year, and are currently in London, England at the time of this writing, ready to begin their 2nd European tour on Thursday in Florence, Italy.

There's lots more to the story, but check out their Tropes page if you want more info. The only thing I have to really add to that page is that their original drummer, Ryan "Legs" Leger, left the band around 2013 and was replaced by Andy "The Wolf" Joseph.

Anyway, I dig this band. A lot. They're pretty much the only modern music that I listen to. Sure, the fact that Skye is so gosh darn attractive helps, but I genuinely like their songs and I am just itching with anticipation for the day that they break on through.

I want to update this thread with news and whatnot, and I hope that some of you guys are or will wind up enjoying their music so I don't feel like I'm just talking to myself.

SO...to begin this thread, here's their latest music video for their single "Fighter". They just released it on Thursday. It's like a combination of Godzilla films, Mortal Kombat and WWE:
