Parts Store
Marcia heard the noise, and attempts to cover her ears. She looks at the man in the fine suit more closely. She thought that he was stylish, but his crude manners ruin the whole package.
The Restauraunt
"Freelance exploration. They do make you sign a contract that basically states 'I know I'm doing stupid shit, and we're not liable if you trip and break your back fifty light-years from home'", Adrian exposited. "Besides, any explorer worth their snuff brings an emergency beacon in case shit goes downhill really fast."
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Huh... How's that thing work?" Jake asked.
"I mean, sounds like a gamble to me."

The Park
Azad would have several places to go to. In addition to simply finding his own place to be, he could return to a spaceship parts store, stumbling on Marcia, Silas, and Seth. He could also stumble into a restauraunt and find Jake, Emily, and Adrian debating their lives. He could also just go somewhere else - this was a fairly large city, with the roar of starfighter engines a common and accepted din of everyday life.
The Store
"...look, sir, it appears as though you've been putting this drill through far more stress than it was intended-"
"And you gave me a broke-dick piece of shit drill. Anything that'll actually handle the things I do?"
It didn't seem like an end was in sight.
The Restauraunt
"What, the emerg beacon, or the freelance exploration?"
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Yeah, I mean, the beacon. You're basically stuck on some uncharted planet, broadcasting a cry for help to whoever might be there to hear it. If there is someone to begin with. And then you have to pray that they're willing to drop by, and that they're not here to finish you off and take your shit. That's a lotta ifs there."
Seth walked over to the man complaining about the drill.
"What seems to be wrong?"
Silas sighed at the complaining and turned back to Marcia "Yeah Capital ships can support life. The idea is deep space exploration, so being able to support life is a must."
"That uh I-is very um interesting...", replied Marcia. She promptly imagined herself riding on a capital ship and living the high life.
Marcia looks at Seth handling the situation. Hopefully, Seth can calm the man down and prevent a future incident.
Emily sipped at her water, and tried not to grimace with hunger. "Where is that waiter? The service was so fast before, and now it's slowed down exponentially."
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertA sac of gold coins drops into the man's hand.
"That should cover it."

"Fair point, man," replied Adrian, "but if I really get into that shitty a situation, then any chance is better than no chance. Besides, like I said - I know the risks going in."
As if Emily had spoke the name of Satan, the waiter immediately arrived, carrying everyone's food. It was steaming hot.
The Store
The man turned to Seth. "These guys sold me a shitty drill. Couldn't put up with anything I do, and the bit wore out after a day."
The clerk, however, also focused on Seth. "Sir, this isn't your problem, I'd like to ask that you please step away."
Bukoski Winery
Vladislav opened the bag and checked the large amount of gold coins that were in there. A very large amount. And it seemed to be pure gold, too.
"Right away. It will take a few minutes to get everything set up. Until then, please, make yourself at home."
Bukoski Winery, despite being a purpose-built wine manufactory, looked very homely - almost like it was a house that just happened to be used for the purposes of making wine.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Why step away? I'm a mechanic. I basically LIVE to fix things. If you want, I can see if I can fix that drill. Won't even need to open it."
He gives his friendliest smile, trying to make a good impression.
"Heh, true, true..." Jake replied , smiling a bit as he noticed the waiter arriving, before continuing.
"Man, now I almost feel ashamed talking about my job." He jokingly added.
Silas turns back to Seth still trying to diffuse the situation, "Hell I am a engineer myself. I could help."
Emily's eyes grew wide as she smelled the food, and she set upon it almost immediately, only to burn her mouth and quickly set it down. She started muttering "Gah, bloody hell" and similar, eyeing the food hungrily.

"Because," continued the clerk, "it is against store policy to allow repairs by non-employees on store grounds. I don't make the rules, I just follow them."
The man in the suit, meanwhile, snorted. "Shitty rules you've got there, then. If you wanna help out we can just leave the store." He indicated the things Seth was carrying. "...might wanna pay for those, first."
The Restauraunt
Adrian, in the meanwhile, leaned back. "Can't eat it just yet. Gotta wait until it's cooled a little."
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Seth remembered the items he was levitating behind him.
"Oh right. I probably should. Well, Silas, Marcia, let's finish up here, and help this guy out. It's the right thing to do."
He walked over to the checkout.
Marcia nods in response to Seth.
"R-right... Sounds um like a p-plan to me."
Silas followed out switching through the blueprints he had for a appropriate blaster weapon.
"I would make a joke about eating it before it's cool, but I can't really come up with anything there... Gimme a decade or two, I dunno." Jake jokingly remarked with a smirk.
The Store
The man behind the counter silently fumed, and picked up a phone. He waited quietly as the man in the suit headed outside.
Silas, Marcia, and Seth's adventures at the checkout most likely do not need any real exposition, considering it's basically "paying for the things you purchased".
The Restauraunt
"Doing that would make you one of the worst kinds of people I've ever met."
Adrian left a moment's pause to let the weight of that statement sink in.
"A space hipster," he clarified.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."After paying for the engine parts and so on, Seth met the man outside, motioning for Silas and Marcia to follow him.
"Alright, let's see this drill, and I'll see what I can do. Telekinesis is a godsend in cases like these."
Store
Marcia nods upon seeing Seth's gesture and heads outside. She watches Seth and the man, wondering how Seth could fix the man's drill.
"Telekinesis? Next you'll be saying that you are a Newtype," Silas jokes to himself.
"I concur. The only reason the Federation only sent my and my crew is because they couldn't spare anyone more. Your bosses were either in the same situation or massive cheapskates."
