I found this blog about a new game called Aberford.

The major story so far is that you play one of four housewives in the post WWII town, Aberford, as a virus spreads that affects only the men, and the women of the town must fight to keep themselves and the remaining men alive.

It is still in development, but I think it looks really cool!

Get your apron, high heels, and jewelry and prepare to fight the living dead! Every man roaming the streets without a fedora must die, filthy inhuman monsters!

This sounds great.

Two quick things: 1) I hate to be that nitpicky-sounding person, but the game actually takes place in the 50s, not the 60s, and the time period is important to the characters and storyline as well as the asthetic. 2) Rotpar, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I think you should check the blog out, because one of the creators just made a very in-depth response to people wondering if that's how it's going to be last night, and even if you're joking, it actually sorta does a disservice to the amount of effort they're putting into making sure the game is just as fair and engaging to its male characters and potential players...

I think there was a tumblr post that pitched this idea, awhile back. With every reblog, it became more and more fleshed out, so it's awesome shit's going into fruition.

Thee idea is absolutely wonderful. Here's to the hopes it plays great to boot.
