Haha, perhaps so. There is probably a bit of pride in her decision to try to fight herself. To her credit though, Jeane can tear straight through bone and flesh with her fists, combined with her flash stepping, its like fighting Shin from fist of the north star if he could move like the Flash.

Okay, I'm ready to rejoin the game... as for Morkardar's inactivity, how does this sound for an excuse: they were spending the time shoring up their defenses and trying to reverse-engineer the technology they've scavenged to create more powerful weapons so as to combat the stronger chunks.

I don't think I am under estimating her. Kuvira does seem powerful. But that's the whole reason Jeane wants to engage in the duel, its rules more or less fixes the fight in her favor. Since metal and earth bending manipulates physical objects outside the body, using either to attack or defend could be classified as weapons or armor. Kuvira won't be able to use her powers or risks forfeiting the match. Meanwhile Jeane can enter the match completely uninhibited.

Oh no, you're right. I just think that Kuvira still has a sizable chance of winning even with the odds fixed on Jeane's favor. She was an acrobat at a private circus, a city guard, leader of an empire and most of the bending in Avatar requires you to be physically fit to the extreme in order to do the really super stunts- which Kuvira does a lot. So I guess it's going to be a lot of 'dodges', huh?
In any case, it's not cheating unless you get caught.

Yeah, I try my damndest to like the dubbed anime Transformer stuff, but most of it is pretty awful.
If I recall correctly, Megatron in Cybertron became Galvatron by getting beaten in a fight, and getting so mad and shouty that he became enveloped in black energy and came back with a white paint job. No explanation was offered.
God, Cybertron was anime as shit, in retrospect. How many things happened just by the transformers screaming and getting enveloped in energy?
What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?
